(Prior art) Conventionally, a contact lens made by a lens manufacturer is aseptically filled with a preservative solution into a preservative solution together with a preservative solution in a contact lens storage container made of glass or synthetic resin. While maintaining the condition, it reaches the hand of the ophthalmologist. However, the preservative solution in the preservation solution may be adsorbed to the contact lens, causing a problem with the lens.

For this reason, the concentration of the preservative solution cannot be made too high. If the preservative is stored in a contact lens storage container for more than two years, or if bacteria etc. are accidentally mixed inside after filling, complete preservation is required. Bacterial effects could not be obtained and there was even a risk of causing corneal damage due to contamination of contact lenses.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The above-mentioned problem is solved by dissolving silver ions in a preservation solution, which gradually dissolves silver ions in a preservation solution for a desired period of time on the back side of a cap for closing a container for a contact lens preservation solution. The problem can be solved by a contact lens storage container in which a lens holder made of a synthetic resin in which a powder of conductive glass is dispersed is attached.

The lens holder (3) of the embodiment has a bifurcated shape capable of holding the contact lens (4) on the inner peripheral surface thereof. When the cap (2) is closed, most of the lens holder (3) is immersed in the preservative solution. It has become. This lens holder (3) is made of a synthetic resin such as EVA, for example, and is made of a soluble glass capable of gradually dissolving silver ions (Ag + ) in a storage solution inside or on the surface thereof. Inorganic substance powder is dispersed.

When the lens holder (3) is immersed in the preservative solution together with the contact lens (4), silver ions having a bactericidal action are produced from the powder of the soluble glass dispersed inside or on the surface of the preservative solution. Dissolve gradually. As a result, the concentration of silver ions in the preservation solution is increased, and the growth of microorganisms such as bacteria in the preservation solution is reliably prevented. Therefore, there is a possibility of corneal damage caused by microorganisms attached to the contact lens (4). Can be eliminated.

As described above, the contact lens storage container of the present invention can prevent the growth of bacteria and the like inside without using a preservative, so that there is no problem of the lens due to the adsorption of the preservative as in the related art, and the cap (2) By attaching the lens holder (3) to the back side of the camera, handling of the small contact lens (4) becomes easy. Further, the composition of the melting glass such as SiO 2 , B 2 O 3 or Na 2 O and Ag 2 O
Since the elution rate of silver ions can be controlled by adjusting the content of the components, the silver ion elution period can be preset in the contact lens storage container of the present invention.

(Antibacterial test) First, Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa were sterilized 0.9%
The cells were suspended in a saline solution and sterilized 1/100 tryptic bouillon, and the obtained bacterial solutions were respectively injected into the contact lens storage container of the present invention (sample 1) and the conventional contact lens storage container (sample 2). This was stored at 30 ° C. for 24 hours, and the number of initially added bacterial cells per 1 ml of the solution and the number of viable cells after 24 hours were measured. The results are shown in Tables 1 to 4.

(Effects of the Invention) As is clear from the above data, the use of the contact lens storage container of the present invention prevents the growth of microorganisms such as bacteria inside the contact lens storage container for a desired period of time, and enables the sterile condition. Contact lenses can be delivered to the eye doctor. Further, according to the contact lens storage container of the present invention, since the preservative does not adsorb to the contact lens as in the related art and the lens holder is attached to the back side of the cap, the handling of the contact lens becomes easy. Therefore, the present invention has a very large practical value as a contact lens storage container that has eliminated the conventional problems.
