2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, fiber reinforced resin (FRP) has been used for outer panels of automobiles. In forming the FRP, a preform mat in which reinforcing fibers such as glass fibers are formed in a predetermined shape in advance is used. Conventionally, the preform mat is formed by heating a glass fiber material in a heating furnace and press-molding the same using a mold. At the time of heating and molding, a molding jig is used to hold the glass fiber mat at a fixed position and to keep the amount of drawing in during molding constant. Conventional molding jigs
As shown in FIG. 4, upper and lower jigs 11, which have a rectangular frame shape,
In the mating surface of 12, a large number of pins 13 are fixed to one lower jig 11 at a predetermined pitch, and holes for receiving these pin tips are formed in the other upper jig 12. This is provided with a clamp tool not to be used. To attach the glass fiber mat W to this jig, insert the periphery of the glass fiber mat W into the pins 13 of the lower jig 11, cover the upper jig 12 thereon, and attach the upper and lower jigs to a clamp jig (not shown). It is to be tightened and fixed. The glass fiber mat W heated by being set on the upper and lower jigs 11 and 12 is set on the lower mold 1 of the molding die while being held by the jig as shown in FIG. So, the size of the frame of the upper and lower jigs,
In order not to interfere with the mold, it must be formed larger by a predetermined dimension L than the outer frame of the mold. For this reason,
The glass fiber mat W to be attached to the jig requires an area 30 to 50% larger than the required shape part M to be a product. The present applicant has previously filed a patent application for a glass fiber mat forming jig as described above, in which a large number of divided movable blocks are installed on the upper jig and the tightening force can be adjusted for each part (see, No. 229,624).

The conventional jig shown in FIG. 4 requires upper and lower jigs, which not only increases the jig cost, but also increases the weight of the jig to the heating furnace. In particular, when the weight of the upper jig reaches 80 kg, it becomes difficult to handle it manually, and a transport device such as a hoist must be used. In the invention of the prior application, the amount of drawing in of the glass fiber mat at the time of molding can be partially adjusted, but the structure becomes complicated and the weight of the upper jig further increases. The tool must be hoisted with a hoist. Further, when the molded product is taken out after molding, the upper jig is heavy and cannot be removed manually. Therefore, the molded product cannot be taken out without trimming around the molded product with scissors in the press machine.

The present invention solves the above-mentioned problems, and provides a glass fiber mat processing jig capable of greatly improving work efficiency by eliminating the need for an upper jig and reducing capital investment. With the goal.

In order to set the glass fiber mat W on the above jig, the jig body 3 is placed on a roller conveyor 7 as shown in FIG.
The height is adjusted with a pantograph-type jack 8, and the hook 4 is pierced around the periphery thereof to be pulled. When the length L of the inner part of the hook 4 shown in FIG. 2 is set to about 15 mm, the glass fiber mat W is deformed when pulled, so that the glass fiber mat W after the hook 4 is pierced is not loosened and the jig body 3 is not loosened. Attached to The jig body 3 with the glass fiber mat W attached thereto is conveyed to a heating furnace as in the prior art to heat the glass fiber mat W and set together with the jig body 3 between the upper and lower molds 1 and 2 as shown in FIG. To form a preform mat.
