ァンヒータでは最大燃焼量3200kcal/hから最小1000kcal
/h程度まで多段制御する)に伴い、快適な温風温度を得
るために送風機により供給される風量を燃焼量とバラン
スした風量に制御するのが一般的となっている。この風
量の多段制御の方式としては電子回路によってモータに
印加する電源を数波印加して1波印加しない、すなわち
一部の波形を抜いてしまう制御方式等が使用されてい
る。また石油ファンヒータの分野では消火時に送風機モ
ータに半波の電源を印加してブレーキをかけ、瞬時に送
風を停止させて未燃ガスを器体内で完全に燃焼しつくし
てしまう機構も実施している。このため上記の制御を送
風機のモータに印加すると、第5図に示すように送風機
のプロペラファン1は通電され、回転が始まると推力が
働き、モータ2側に引寄せられ、モータシャフト3はピ
ボット4側に押しつけられて回転をし続ける。一方モー
タ2に印加される電源が瞬間的に波形が抜けたり、半波
が印加されるとプロペラファン1の推力がゼロとなり、
ロータ5とモータシャフト3が一体となって磁気センタ
ー側へ移動し、プロペラファン1側のメタル6の端面と
ロータ5の端面が衝突し、この衝突の反発でピボット4
側へロータ5とモータシャフト3が移動し、再びピボッ
ト4側で衝突するモードを繰り返し、モータ2での振動
を大きくする要因となっている。モータ2内での振動が
大となると従来の送風機取付架台16ではそのまま本体に
強く振動が伝わり、異音を発生したり、ビビリがでる欠
点があった。
