Therefore, if the cooling or heating state continues for a long time, not only the oxygen concentration in the room air decreases due to the breathing of the occupants, but also harmful gases such as carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide. The concentration of the components increases. To cope with this, ventilation operations for replacing room air with outside air are usually performed. However, these methods have a problem that the room temperature greatly changes and the energy required for generating the discharged cool air or warm air is wasted. Was. Therefore, a method has been proposed to prevent the decrease in the oxygen concentration in the indoor air by supplying the outside air having an increased oxygen concentration to the room using a polymer separation membrane or the like. The increase in concentration could not be prevented, and a comfortable indoor environment could not be provided.

According to the present invention, since the air conditioner has the above-described structure, the operation of the air conditioner reduces the oxygen concentration in the indoor air and increases the concentration of harmful gas components such as carbon monoxide. The indoor air is introduced into the gas separation device from the room through the indoor air introduction pipe, where the indoor air is separated into oxygen and other gas components, and the separated oxygen is supplied to the indoor unit through the supply pipe. The gas is returned to the suction side of the blower fan and the separated gas components other than oxygen are discharged outside the room. Then, a scent is given to the oxygen returned to the room by the scenting device.

FIG. 3 shows the details of the separating device 6. The separation device 6 includes a pair of reaction tanks 16, 17, a blower 18, a vacuum pump 19, valves A, B, C, D, E, F and the like.
The pair of reaction vessels 16 and 17 are each filled with an adsorbent 15 such as Na-X type zeolite. Now, when the valves A and B are opened and the valves C, D, E and F are closed and the blower 18 is started, the chamber 5
The air inside the reaction tank 16 passes through the suction pipe 7, the blower 18, and the valve A.
Gas components other than oxygen, such as carbon monoxide and nitrogen, are adsorbed by the adsorbent 15 in the course of flowing into the adsorbent 15. Then, the oxygen is returned from the indoor unit 1 into the chamber 5 through the valve B and the supply pipe 9 without being adsorbed. When the adsorption capacity of the adsorbent 15 in the reaction tank 16 reaches saturation, the valves A, B, F
Is closed, the valves C, D, and E are opened, and the blower 18 and the vacuum pump 19 are started. Then, the pressure inside the reaction tank 16 is reduced, and the gas component adsorbed by the adsorbent 15 therein is separated therefrom and released to the atmosphere via the valve C, the vacuum pump 19 and the purge pipe 8. During this time, room air enters the reaction tank 17 via the suction pipe 7, the blower 18, and the valve D, and gas components other than oxygen therein are adsorbed by the adsorbent 15, and oxygen is not adsorbed and the valve E It is fed into the chamber 5 via a pipe 9. In this manner, the gas separation device 6 continuously separates the indoor air into oxygen and other gas components, returns the separated oxygen to the room, and discharges the gas components other than oxygen to the outside.

A liquid perfume 33 is stored in a container 32 detachably attached to the supply pipe 9, and a thin tube whose lower end is immersed in this liquid.
The upper end of 34 protrudes into the supply pipe 9. And container 32
Is provided with a ventilation hole 35. Thus, when oxygen flows through the supply pipe 9, the perfume 33 is sucked up and mixed into the oxygen, and is supplied into the chamber 5 with the oxygen.

According to the present invention, when the concentration of harmful gas components such as carbon monoxide increases while the oxygen concentration in the indoor air decreases by continuing the operation of the air conditioner, the indoor gas is separated by the gas separation device. Separates the air into oxygen and other gas components, returns the separated oxygen to the room, and discharges the separated gas components other than oxygen outside the room, thus lowering the oxygen concentration in indoor air and reducing harmful gas components. It is possible to prevent an increase in concentration and prevent fluctuations in the room temperature, thereby contributing to energy saving. Further, in the present invention, since the gas separation device is installed outdoors and close to the outdoor unit, the space in the room when the gas separation device is installed in the room can be omitted and the valve of the gas separation device can be installed. It is possible to prevent the opening and closing noise and the noise generated by the blower and vacuum pump from hindering the occupants, and to easily and quickly install the indoor air introduction pipe and supply pipe with the installation work of the separate type air conditioner. Can be installed. In addition, since the supply pipe is connected to the suction side of the blower fan of the indoor unit and a scenting device is attached to the suction pipe, a scent can be imparted to the oxygen returned to the room, so that the scent can be widely spread indoors by the indoor unit. By diffusing, it is possible to make the occupant perceive that oxygen is being supplied and to give a refreshing feeling.
