り付け切欠18bに嵌合して取り付けてある。このカムプ
レート6には二つ折り扉用蝶番Aの全開時後述するボー
ル9が嵌合する全開位置決め凹部10aとボール9が二つ
折り扉用蝶番Aの全閉時手前に嵌合する全閉手間位置決
め凹部10bと、全閉時手前と全閉時との間ボール9が位
置する傾斜面10cとを有している。他方の蝶番素片3は
合成樹脂で形成されている。蝶番素片3は第3図に示す
ように一部切欠円盤状に形成され、周縁に鍔部20を設け
てある。蝶番素片3の適所には取り付け孔22を穿孔して
ある。蝶番素片3には一対の軸支部4を突設してあり、
一対の軸支部4間にプレート収納部23を設けてある。一
方の蝶番素片1と他方の蝶番素片3の軸支部2,4が互い
に対応させられ、軸支部2,4に軸支軸5を挿通すること
により、一対の蝶番素片1,3が回転自在に連結されてい
る。このときカムプレート6がプレート収納部23に位置
している。蝶番素片3の中央には凸脈部24を設けてあ
り、凸脈部24のある部分で内部に空間状のばね収納部7
を設けてあり、ばね収納部7の一端はプレート収納部23
側で開口しており、ばね収納部7の他端が閉塞してあ
る。ばね収納部7内のプレート収納部7側にはボール9
を内装してあり、ばね収納部7内に収納したばね8にて
ボール9を付勢してあり、ボール9をカムプレート6の
外周面に弾接してある。蝶番素片3のパネル等に取り付
ける取り付け面3a側からばね収納部7に連通するばね挿
入用開口11を設けてある。このばね挿入用開口11はボー
ル9を挿入できると共にばね8を圧縮して挿入できる大
きさに形成されている。そしてばね8とボール9を組み
込むときには蝶番素片1と蝶番素片3とを軸支軸5にて
回転自在に連結した状態で、ばね挿入用開口11からボー
ル9を入れ、圧縮したばね8をばね挿入用開口11からば
ね収納部7に挿入する。上記のような構成された二つ折
り扉用蝶番Aは第6図に示すように二つ折り扉Bのパネ
ル25を回転自在に連結するのに用いられる。二つ折り扉
用蝶番Aの各蝶番素片1,3の取り付け面1a,3aをパネル25
の面に当接し、取り付け孔17,22からねじ具を挿通して
取り付けられる。このときばね挿入用開口11があっても
パネル25に取り付けることにより閉塞されている。しか
して二つ折り扉Bを全開した状態では蝶番Aが第5図
(a)に示すように全開している。このときボール9が
カムプレート6の全開位置決め凹部10aに嵌合してお
り、全開状態に保持されている。この状態から二つ折り
扉Bを閉じる方向に強く回動すると、ボール9がカムプ
レート6の外面を転動し、二つ折り扉Bを全閉手前の状
態にすると、第5図(b)に示すようにボール9が全閉
手間位置決め凹部10bに嵌合し、この状態が維持され
る。このとき二つ折り扉Bが全閉状態手間で少し開いた
状態が維持され、二つ折り扉Bを閉じた状態でも二つ折
り扉Bが傾くのが防止される。第5図(b)に示すよう
な全閉手前状態から二つ折り扉Bを閉じる方向に力を加
えると、二つ折り扉Bが全閉状態になると共に蝶番Aが
第5図(c)に示すような全閉状態になる。このときボ
ール9がカムプレート6の傾斜面10cに位置し、二つ折
り扉Bを全閉する力を除くと、傾斜面10cから全閉手間
位置決め凹部10bに戻って全閉手前状態になる。
