4の前面を抵抗装置25の環状体26の端面に押設して定流
量弁4とはめ込み用孔部3の孔底との間で抵抗装置25を
挟持するものである。ここで、放射状体27の中央部の凹
溝部28は定流量弁4の孔12に対向している。はめ込み用
孔部3内には更にストレーナ14をはめ込み、ストレーナ
14の鍔部15をパッキン16を介して給水口本体1の端面に

定流量にされて孔12の前端部から流出した水流は抵抗装
置25の放射状体27の中央部の凹溝部28部分に当たり、水
流が緩衝され、放射状体27に沿って流れて流水口29から
流れて流水孔2に流れて行くものであり、この抵抗装置
25を通過する際に水流が緩衝され、キャビテーションが
防止されることになる。ちなみに、給水圧2〜6kg/cm2
に対して、約4〜10dB音圧減少効果があった。なお、定
流量弁4の交換等に当たって定流量弁4を取り外す場合
には、袋ナット19を外し、ストレーナ14を外し、その
後、定流量弁4の小径部11を指でつまんで引き抜くこと
で取り外すものであるが、この場合、定流量弁4は外周
に周方向の3箇所以上に部分的に設けた弾性突部5をは
め込み用孔部3の内周面に弾接しているので、全周を弾
性して取りつける場合に比べて取り外しが容易になるも
のである。

抗装置は弾性的に押さえ付けられるためにがたつきなく
安定して挟持固定され、これに伴って抵抗装置によると
ころのキャビテーションの抑止を確実に且つ簡便に行う
ことができるものである。
