The material of the roll is a dense body made of NBR, urethane, etc. (aggregate of densely packed materials) or a foam made of NBR, urethane, polyethylene, etc. (porous body with fine voids in the material by foaming) )
Is common.

In the case of a dense body made of R, urethane, etc., the surface of the roll is generally smooth and a multi-strike ribbon having an ink-coated roughened surface and an ink-free smooth film surface In this method, the force of feeding the ink ribbon (hereinafter referred to as a ribbon feed force) is very large because the smooth adhesion of the roll to the smooth film surface of the ink ribbon on which the ink is not applied is very good. However, the smooth surface of the roll has poor adhesion to the roughened ink-coated surface after the ink has been applied, and when the roll is rotated to feed the ink ribbon, the ink ribbon leans toward the roll contacting the film surface. There is a problem that the ink ribbon is folded and the pressure of the ink ribbon is increased in the ink ribbon storage unit, so that the ink ribbon cannot be pulled out from the ink ribbon storage unit, or jamming cannot be performed to the ink ribbon storage unit.

る。Also, since the dense roll has a small amount of deformation of the pressed portion due to the pressed, a large pressure is applied to the pressed portion, and when the ink ribbon cassette is left for a long time while the ink ribbon is pressed, the roll is pressed against the roll on the ink applied surface of the ink ribbon. There is also a problem that the oil agent of the colorant oozes out from the contact portion and swells the pressure contact portion of the roll, and the ink ribbon is fused to the pressure contact portion and the ink ribbon cannot be fed.

The adhesiveness of the roll on the surface of the surface is not good, and the ribbon feed force is inferior to a case where the material of the roll is a dense body made of NBR, urethane or the like. Even if the pressing force of the roll is increased in order to improve the ribbon feeding force, not only sufficient improvement of the ribbon feeding force cannot be obtained, but also the rolling resistance of the roll increases due to the deformation of the roll due to the increase of the pressing force. There is a problem that the shaft torque for rotating the motor increases. Also, since the surface of the roll is rough, the frictional force of the roll acts more on the ink-coated surface which is rougher than the smooth film surface of the ink ribbon. There is also a problem that the ribbon is finely folded toward one side of the roll in contact with the ink application surface and jamming occurs.

There is a problem of uniformity.

Is pressed by an elastic body such as a coil spring or a leaf spring. Recently, however, there is also an ink ribbon cassette in which the elastic body is abolished and a shaft provided with a roll is fixed for cost reduction. Cannot be mounted.

It is an object of the present invention to improve the problem of the fusion of the ink ribbon to the roll and the deformation of the roll, and to provide an ink ribbon cassette having a strong ribbon feed force and a smooth and uniform ribbon feed.

Use a roll with a rough surface made of foam made of NBR, and use a roll with a smooth surface of dense body made of NBR, urethane, etc. on the other smooth film surface where ink is not applied. Since the dense rolls having a smooth surface are pressed against each other, the ink ribbon is uniformly folded on both roll sides without being finely folded on one specific roll side.

The hardness of the dense body is 50 ° to 70 ° (JIS A type hardness tester), and that of the foam is 20 ° to 40 ° (JISA type hardness tester). Therefore, in the ink ribbon cassette according to the present invention, when the rolls are pressed against each other, the dense hard rolls hardly deform and the circular outer circumference of the dense hard rolls bites into the circular outer circumference of the low-hardness foam roll. In this state, the outer periphery of the roll having low hardness is deformed into an arc shape. Even if the roll rotates to feed the ink ribbon, the dense roll having high hardness is hardly deformed at all times and maintains a circular outer periphery. The outer periphery of the foam roll having low hardness is always deformed into an arc shape. Furthermore, even if the arc-shaped deformed part of the foam roll with low hardness loses the restoring force due to being pressed for a long time, the dense roll with almost no deformation with high hardness is pressed and the hardness of the dense body and the foam is reduced. When rotated to feed the ink ribbon due to the difference, the arc-shaped deformed part of the foam roll is corrected by the dense roll and the restoring force is restored, and the fluctuation of the shaft torque and the adhesion and friction of the roll to the ink ribbon Very little change in force.
