【産業上の利用分野】本考案は、空調配管や給湯配管な
どの複数本の被接続配管カバーを接続するために用いら
れる配管カバー継手に関する。

【従来の技術】従来の配管カバー継手は、接続対象とな
る被接続配管カバーを内嵌するための接続部が被接続配
管カバーの外径に応じた一定の内径に決められていた
(例えば、実開昭54−110824号公報参照)。

【考案が解決しようとする課題】このため、接続対象と
なる被接続配管カバーの径が異なる度に、それに応じて
継手本体も交換する必要があり、また、接続対象の複数
の被接続配管カバーどうしが互いに径の異なるものであ
る場合、継手本体の接続部の径も接続部毎で異なるもの
を用意する必要があり、さらに多種多様の継手本体を多
数用意しなければならないという、製品コスト面での不
利を避け得ないものであった。このような不都合を解消
するためには、例えば、大きめの継手本体を用意して、
配管施工並びに配管カバーや継手の施工完了後に、継手
本体の接続部と配管カバーとの間隙に充填物を詰めるこ
とも考えられるが、この場合には、その充填物の施工作
業が面倒であるとともに、配管や配管カバーの施工完了
後でなければ作業を行えず、作業工程上のロスが多く、
また、配管の保守点検なども行い難いという問題があ
る。さらに別の解消手段としては、継手本体とは別個
に、被接続配管カバーを内嵌する小径端部と、継手本体
に内嵌する大径端部とを両端部に形成した筒状の接続部
を用いることも考えられるが、この場合には、前記接続
部が筒状の一体物であるため、配管を機器に接続する以
前に配管の遊端側から予め通しておく必要があり、施工
手順を間違えると配管カバーの組み付けそのものが出来
なくなるという問題点がある。しかも、継手本体と前記
接続筒部材とを固定するのに接着材やビスを使用してい
たのでは、その継手本体と接続部との接続作業にも多大
な手数を要する煩わしさがある。本考案は、少数種類の
継手本体を用いて、それよりも多数種の径の異なる被接
続配管カバーを接続できるとともに、配管や配管カバー
継手の施工作業、並びに継手本体と接続部との接続作業
も簡単に行い易いところの配管カバー継手の提供を目的
とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】上記目的を達成するため
の本考案の技術手段は、複数本の被接続配管カバーを接
続するための配管カバー継手において、この配管カバー
継手を、被接続配管カバーを内嵌する複数の接続部と、
その接続部とは別部材で構成された継手本体とから構成
するとともに、前記接続部を、一端側に前記被接続配管
カバーを内嵌する小径端部を有し、他端側に前記継手本
体に内嵌する大径端部を形成してある接続筒部材で構成
し、かつ、前記継手本体と前記接続筒部材との夫々を、
その径方向に二分割自在に構成し、さらに、前記継手本
体を構成する一対の分割本体の内の、カバー取付対象箇
所側に設置される一方の分割本体に、係合突起を配管収
容空間側に突出させて設けると共に、前記カバー取付対
象箇所への固定ネジ挿通孔を設け、前記接続筒部材を構
成する一対の分割筒部材の内の、カバー取付対象箇所側
に設置される一方の分割筒部材に、前記係合突起が係合
自在な被係合貫通孔を設け、前記一方の分割筒部材にお
ける前記被係合貫通孔よりも前記小径端部側の内周部
に、前記被接続配管カバーの先端位置決め用段部を設け
てあることである。

【作用】上記の技術手段を講じたことによる作用は次の
通りである。
a.前記継手本体とは別部材で接続部を構成したので、
各接続部毎に各種の径のものを用意するだけで、各種径
の被接続配管カバーどうしを簡単に接続することができ
る。
b.継手本体とともに各接続部も径方向に二分割したの
で、継手本体のうちの一方と、接続部を構成する接続筒
部材のうちの一方とを、予め所定箇所に設置した後、そ
れらの内面に沿わせて配管を施工し、その後に他方の継
手本体及び接続筒部材を上部側から装着することができ
る。従って、配管を機器に接続する以前に継手本体や各
接続部を配管の遊端側から予め通しておく必要がなくな
って、配管カバーや配管カバー継手との取り付け手順な
どを気にする必要もなく容易に施工しやすい。
c.前記継手本体の一方と前記接続筒部材の一方とは、
係合突起と、その係合突起が係合自在な被係合貫通孔と
で接続されるものであるから、二分割した一方の継手本
体と一方の接続筒部材とを係合突起と被係合貫通孔との
係脱により、簡単にかつ短時間で接続及び離脱を行え

方の分割本体をカバー取付対象箇所へ簡単に取り付ける
ことができると共に、一方の分割筒部材を一方の分割本
体に係合させた状態のまま、カバー取付対象箇所へ取り
付けて、その後、配管作業、及び、他方の分割本体や接
続筒部材を取り付けるだけで、スピーディーに配管工事
を実施することが可能となる。更には、一方の分割本体
をカバー取付対象箇所へ予め取り付けておけば、配管及

によって進入方向の位置決めを図ることが可能となる。

手が実質的に管長さ方向で分割された状態となり、多数
種類の被接続配管カバーを簡単に接続することのできる
配管カバー継手を、分割された接続部のみの交換によ
り、低コストで提供できたものである。
ロ.上記b.の作用から、配管カバー継手が径方向でも
分割されていることを有効に利用して、配管作業完了後
に簡単にカバーの施工を完了させられる効果がある。
ハ.上記c.の作用から、二分割した一方の継手本体と
一方の接続筒部材とを係合突起と被係合貫通孔との係脱
により簡単に接続及び離脱でき、従来のような接着材や
ビスを使用する場合に比べて施工の煩わしさがなく、従
って、例えば、長い時間にわたって所定の姿勢を保ち難
