はクッション材が挿入端部前後幅内に納まるものとする
とともにシャッターカーテンの閉成時には,これに伴っ
て得られる閉成荷重によって圧縮クッション材の前後端
をガイドレールに内接状に圧接自在としたことによっ
て,シャッターカーテンの開閉抵抗を増大したりするこ
となく,シャッターカーテンの閉成に伴って,上記ガイ
ドレール封止材として兼用することを可能とし,従って
クッション材が座板緩衝用,床面等封止用のものに加え
て,ガイドレール下端封止用のガイドレール封止材とし
ての3機能を簡易且つ確実にして同時に果すものとな
り,シャッターカーテンとその開口枠との間を封止材で
封止したシャッターに用いて,その下部を好適に密封し
て高度な気密性や遮音性を確保し得るようにしたシャッ
ターの下部密封装置を提供することができる。

一対のガイドレール及びまぐさによる開口枠との間を封
止材によって封止したシャッターの下部密封装置であっ
て,上記シャッターカーテン下端に配設して上記ガイド
レール内に,前後の翼板を切欠き除去して長手方向両端
部に残存形成した左右の挿入端部を遊嵌状に挿入した座
板と,上記挿入端部を含めて該座板の長手方向全長に亘
るようにその下面に付設したクッション材とを備え,上
記座板の挿入端部におけるクッション材の前後幅を挿入
端部の前後幅より僅小の幅狭として,該クッション材を
常時挿入端部の前後幅内に納めるとともに該クッション
材の圧縮前後幅を挿入端部前後幅より幅広とし,シャッ
ターカーテン閉成時にその閉成荷重によって圧縮したク
ッション材の前後端を上記ガイドレールに内接状に圧接
自在として,該クッション材をガイドレール下端封止用
のガイドレール封止材として兼用してなることを特徴と
するシャッターの下部密封装置。
