3内に沿つて該圧胴1外周面と同一高さに備える複数の
爪台4と、該爪台4に相対して閉鎖・開放動作する複数
の咥爪5と、該咥爪間に位置し且つ金属板Pの前端部P1
を当接する複数の前当て6とを設け、前記咥爪5と前当
て6とを同一動作軸7に自由回転可能に軸支し、該咥爪
5本体は、同じ前記動作軸7に軸支固定した別体の咥爪
開閉アーム8に閉鎖方向に付勢する弾性部材10によつて
連結され且つ該アーム8によつて開閉可能に設け、一
方、前記前当て6本体は、同じ動作軸7に軸支固定した
別体の前当て動作アーム9に前当て基準位置に接近する
方向である前当て動作方向に付勢する弾性部材11によつ
て連結され且つ咥爪5の爪台4に対する押圧閉鎖動作の
終点位置に無関係に前当て基準位置である前当て動作の
終点が常に一定位置にくるように動作終点停止部12aを
備えることを特徴とする金属板印刷機の前当て動作機
