2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a light source of a display device configured on an information display panel that displays various kinds of information such as road information, a light source in which a large number of light emitters are arranged in a matrix is used.
Most of the display devices of this type are formed by uniting a predetermined number of light-emitting bodies, and a plurality of unitized display devices are arranged vertically and horizontally to form a single information display panel. 9 and 10 (a) to 10 (c) show a light emitter 51 of the display device 50.
A light emitting diode is used as a unit, and a large number of the light emitting diodes are arranged in a matrix in a casing 52 formed in a rectangular frame to form a unit, and each light emitting body 51 is fixed in parallel on a substrate 53. The light emitting portion 51a of each light emitting body 51 is mounted inside the housing 52, and is projected and held in front of the housing 52 through through holes 55 that are formed through a matrix on a surface plate 54 of the housing 52. . The through holes 55 have an inner diameter W1 such that the light emitting body 51 can be inserted from the back side thereof.
Regarding the waterproof structure for the mounting portion of the light emitting body 51 against, a large number of through holes 56 corresponding to the arrangement of the light emitting body 51 and having an inner diameter W3 (W2> W3) slightly smaller than the outer diameter W2 of each light emitting body 51. The synthetic resin or other elastic synthetic resin made porous sheet packing 57 is covered on the surface plate 54 so as to closely adhere to the outer periphery of the light-emitting body 51, and the surface of the surface plate 54 is covered to cover the surface plate 54 side. Or a hole 58 having a substantially U-shaped cross section as shown in FIG. 11 is formed. The sheet packing 57 is fitted into the through hole 55 from the back surface side of the surface plate 54, and each light emitting body 51 is projected and attached to the front side of the surface plate 54 through the hole 58 of the perforated sheet packing 57. A waterproof structure is formed on the 54 side, and as shown in FIGS. 12 (a) and 12 (b), it is transparently provided on the surface plate 54 of the housing 52. The through-hole
55 is covered with a perforated sheet packing 57 having a through hole 56 having an inner diameter W3 of about the same as the inner diameter W1 of 55, and a pressing plate 59 is further covered from above, and the porous sheet packing is provided between the pressing plate 59 and the surface plate 54. For example, a method of compressing 57 to deform the inner edge cross-sectional shape of the through hole 56 of the perforated sheet packing 57 so as to be pressed against the outer periphery of each light-emitting body 51 to have a waterproof function is used.

However, in the above first waterproof structure, the inner diameter W3 of the through hole 56 formed in the surface of the porous sheet packing 57 has the light emitting body 51.
Is smaller than the outer diameter W2 of the, and the light emitting body 51 is inserted into the through hole 56 to expand the through hole 56 to the outer diameter dimension of the light emitting body 51.
Since the waterproof effect is obtained in an interference fit state due to elastic deformation of the through hole 56 portion of the perforated sheet packing 57,
When the perforated sheet packing 57 is mounted on the surface plate 54 of the housing 52 while inserting the light emitting body 51 into the through hole 56, the perforated sheet packing 57 does not have a portion for absorbing the elastic deformation, A large insertion force is required, and as shown in FIG. 10 (c), the center C1 of the light emitter 51 and the center of the through hole 56
If C2 is displaced, there is a problem that a clearance S is created in the mounting portion of the light emitting body 51 and the waterproof effect is reduced, and the second waterproof structure described above has a U-shaped cross section. In addition to not only the moldability of the perforated sheet packing 57 itself deteriorates with respect to the formed hole portion 58, the interval W4 between the light emitters 51 and the light emitter 51
If the difference in the outer diameter W2 of the surface plate 54 is small enough to secure the strength of the surface plate 54 itself, it is necessary to reduce the thickness of the porous sheet packing 57 by that amount, and the strength is reduced. At the same time, it causes a problem that mounting workability deteriorates.
Not only a very large compression force is required to elastically deform the porous sheet packing 57 between the 59 and the surface plate 54 until a sufficient waterproof effect is exerted, but also the compression force is uniformly applied to the porous sheet packing 57 and the presser 59. Therefore, the number of man-hours for tightening screws and the like is increased, and the structure for producing such a compressive force is extremely difficult.

Thus, according to the porous sheet packing having the above structure, by inserting a large number of light emitters into the packing part and covering the surface plate of the housing, the packing part is pressed against the outer circumference of the light emitter and the contact is made. The part can be sealed and the connecting film can seal and waterproof the surface plate side. Even if the packing part elastically deforms due to the outer diameter of the light emitter during this mounting, the elastic deformation is distorted to the side of the connecting film that connects the packing parts, and the position of the packing part is moved to adhere to the outer circumference of the light emitter. FIG. 5 shows a first embodiment of the porous sheet packing 1 according to the present invention. The porous sheet packing 1 according to the present embodiment is in close contact with the outer peripheral surface of a large number of luminous bodies 4 arranged in a matrix on the surface plate 3 of the housing 2 to waterproof the inside and outside of each luminous body 4 mounting portion. The porous sheet packing 1 is a connecting film made of synthetic rubber or other elastic synthetic resin material having substantially the same size as the front opening of the housing 2.
A large number of through holes 1b corresponding to the arrangement of the light emitting bodies 4 are formed on the surface 1a, and the inner edge of each through hole 1b is integrally molded as an O-ring packing part 1c. Thickness T1
Is formed to be thinner than the cross-sectional diameter T2 of the packing portion 1c (T1 <T2), and ribs (not shown) are formed on the outer peripheral portion to waterproof the inner peripheral edge portion of the housing 2 as appropriate. The inner diameter W3 of the packing portion 1c is formed to be slightly smaller than the outer diameter W2 of the light emitting body 4 (W3 <W2), and the light emitting body 4 is formed in the packing portion 1c.
With the inner edge thereof closely contacted with the outer periphery of the light-emitting body 4 in a state of being inserted, a predetermined contact pressure is generated, the contact portion is completely waterproofed, and an inner diameter W3 generated by inserting the light-emitting body 4 into the packing portion 1c. It is configured such that the elastic deformation such as the expansion and the movement of the center C2 position is absorbed by the coupling film 1a portion. Further, the porous sheet packing 1 according to the present invention is a connecting film thereof.
The perforated sheet packing 1 according to the present embodiment is mounted on the surface plate 3 of the housing 2 without forming any holes other than the through holes 1b constituting the packing 1c on the film surface of 1a. In this state, the inside of the housing is completely sealed by the connecting film 1a, so that rainwater and the like are prevented from entering the housing 2. As described above, since the film thickness T1 of the connecting film 1a portion is formed thinner than the cross-sectional diameter T2 of the packing portion 1c (T1 <T2), elastic deformation and movement of the center C2 generated in the packing portion 1c can be easily absorbed by strain. Therefore, even if the arrangement positions of the luminous bodies 4 in the matrix arrangement are not necessarily aligned vertically and horizontally, the mountability and workability of the porous sheet packing 1 on the luminous bodies 4 are improved. be able to.

That is, in the porous sheet packing 1 according to the present invention, a burr 12 as shown in FIG. 8 (a) is formed inside the packing portion 1c at the time of molding, which is caused when the light emitting body 4 is inserted.
Between the outer periphery of the light emitting body 4 (see FIGS. 8B and 8C), and a gap S is formed between the outer periphery of the light emitting body 4 and the packing portion.
This may impair the adhesion of 1c and cause a decrease in waterproofness. In this embodiment, the burr 12 is formed outside the contact portion of the packing portion 1c with respect to the light emitting body 4, and the inside of the burr 12 has a linear shape or an arc shape of a predetermined length. When the waterproof portion 1d is formed and the light emitting body 4 is inserted into the packing portion 1c, even if the burr 12 is interposed between the outer circumferences of the light emitting body 4, the burr 12 is located above the waterproof portion 1d with respect to the light emitting body 4. It is possible to achieve a predetermined waterproof action without escaping and preventing the adhesion of the waterproof part 1d to the light-emitting body 4 from being hindered.
