This skirt member is made of a rubber skirt strip and is usually attached to a skirt board which is vertically provided on a fixing member such as a chute. The skirt member is brought into contact with the upper surface of a conveyor belt to convey the conveyor. Both ends of the belt are closed, and the article dropped from the chute extends in the conveying direction of the conveyor belt for a distance sufficient to stabilize on the conveyor belt.

However, in the conventional structure, there is an inconvenience that the wear state of the skirt member needs to be constantly monitored and maintenance is performed, and when the skirt member needs to be adjusted, the rust of the bolts and nuts must be maintained. There is a problem that work cannot be performed easily due to attachment.

The link member 11 is provided with a pair of upstanding walls 18 and 19 extending in the longitudinal direction with the tubular body 17 interposed therebetween.
The upright walls 18 and 19 are provided with screw rods 20 and 21 which are opposed to each other and are screwed so as to be able to move back and forth.

The torsion member 12 has a center pipe shaft 22 arranged in the center, an outer cylinder 23 arranged concentrically with the center pipe shaft 22, an outer peripheral surface of the center pipe shaft 22 and an inner cylinder 23. The outer cylinder 23 is provided with an arm 25 extending in the radial direction, which is composed of an elastic body 24 such as rubber that is filled and fixed integrally with the peripheral surface. The center tube shaft 22 has a lock screw 2 at a portion protruding from the elastic body 24.

Therefore, in the case of the illustrated embodiment, the lock screw 26 is provided with the center tube shaft 22 of the torsion member 12 being externally inserted to the pivot shaft 13 and the arm 25 being positioned between the standing walls 18 and 19 of the link member 11. Thus, the center tube shaft 22 is fixed to the pivot shaft 13.

According to the structure of the above embodiment, the skirt structure 1 can be maintenance-free. That is, in a state where the lower end of the skirt member 5 is brought into contact with the upper surface of the conveyor belt 2, the pivotal connecting portion 11a of the link member 11,
The line connecting 11b is slightly tilted from the vertical line.
Therefore, even if the lower end of the skirt member 5 is worn, if the link member 11 is rotated in a direction along the vertical line, the skirt structure 1 is lowered, and the worn lower end of the skirt member 5 is conveyed to the conveyor belt 2. It is possible to make contact with the upper surface of.

Therefore, in order to automatically rotate the link member 11 in the above-described direction, as shown in FIG. 4, one screw rod 20 is unscrewed and the other screw rod 21 is screwed forward to advance the screw rod 21. The arm 25 is pressed by the tip of the. The reaction force of the screwing and pushing force of the screw rod 21 causes the link member 1 to move in the direction in which the skirt structure 1 descends.
Although the skirt member 5 abuts the conveyor belt 2 to prevent the link member 11 from rotating, the elastic body of the torsion member 12 is pushed by the screw rod 21. The arm 25 is twisted and rotated together with the outer cylinder 23 against 24. In other words, in this state, the elastic force is accumulated through the torsionally deformed elastic body 24 of the torsion member 11, and the link member 11 is always moved in the direction in which the skirt member 5 is pressed against the upper surface of the conveyor belt 2. The torsion member 12 and the screw rod 21 constitute an elastic mechanism for urging the urging force.

Therefore, even if the lower end of the skirt member 5 is worn, the torsion member 12 and the link member 1 are correspondingly worn.
1 rotates to lower the holding member 6 so that the lower end of the skirt member 5 is always in contact with the upper surface of the conveyor belt 2.

By the way, when the skirt member 5 is worn out, it becomes necessary to replace the skirt member 5 anew. In this case, as shown in FIG. 5, contrary to the above, if one screw rod 20 is screwed forward and the other screw rod 21 is screwed back and the arm 25 is pressed by the tip of one screw rod 20, It is possible to raise the skirt structure 1 by the reaction force of the screwing and pushing of the screw rod 20 and the elastic support force of the torsion member 12. That is, since the skirt member 2 is separated from the conveyor belt 2 by this, the replacement work can be easily performed with the skirt member 2 thus floated.

Needless to say, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments, and various design changes can be made based on the invention described in the claims. For example, in the illustrated embodiment,
The torsion member 12 is arranged at the upper one of the pivotally connecting portions 11a and 11b of the link member 11 so as to exert an elastic force between the fixing member 3 and the link member 11. Can be configured upside down, and the torsion member 12 can be configured to obtain an elastic force between the holding member 6 and the link member 11, or both of the pivotally connecting portions 11a and 11b of the link member 11. You may make these consist.
