2. Description of the Related Art Today, a temperature-sensitive printing material that visually indicates a change in temperature within a specific range is widely used. Compared to traditional thermometers that numerically display a fairly wide range of temperatures, temperature-sensitive prints provide a visual and chromatic display of a range of temperature changes for a particular purpose. It is more direct and has excellent properties.

Conventionally, as one of these temperature-sensitive printed materials,
There was a temperature-sensitive printing material using a reversible temperature-sensitive ink that was decolored at high temperature and developed at low temperature. For example, if you use this ink to print the letters "Cooling" or a message on the surface of a product packaging bag, you can identify that the item is in the specified temperature range while the letters "Cooling" or a message appear. . When the temperature rises, the word "cooling" and the message disappear, and it can be seen that the temperature has exceeded the predetermined temperature range.

However, in this temperature-sensitive printed material, characters and messages disappear in a high temperature range, so that it is unsuitable as a message for warning that it is in a high temperature range. In addition, ink characters are printed using an ink that uses a thermochromic pigment that changes color due to temperature changes, and ink that uses a pigment that has the same color as the ink that uses the thermochromic pigment on other parts but does not change color due to temperature changes. Printed matter, and when the temperature rises, the thermochromic pigment discolors so that characters and the like printed using the pigment are visible (Japanese Patent Publication No. 48-183).
No. 43) or a label or the like is printed with a temperature-sensitive paint that is difficult to distinguish from the label in terms of color, and when the temperature-sensitive paint discolors due to a temperature rise, the characters or the like appear. (Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 41-17241) and the like are known. However, in these methods, although the characters and the like can be confirmed when the temperature rises, the characters and the like cannot be displayed at the low temperature.

[Function] Using two types of high-temperature decolorizable inks, a high-temperature decolorable ink having the same hue as the non-thermosensitive ink and a high-temperature decolorable ink having a different hue from the non-thermosensitive ink, By making it a temperature-sensitive printed material, the high-temperature decolorizable ink with the same hue as the non-thermosensitive ink is erased by increasing the temperature,
At the same time as the white message of the non-thermosensitive ink appears, the message displayed with the high temperature decolorizable ink of a hue different from that of the non-thermosensitive ink disappears. Different messages that can be announced can be transmitted.

In the printing layer composed of the high temperature decolorizable ink 1 and the non-thermosensitive ink 2 having the same hue as the non-thermosensitive ink, a portion other than the display mark is non-printed, for example, the display mark H in FIG. Display marks such as desired characters, symbols, pictures, and patterns are printed as a solid white pattern of the temperature-sensitive ink 2, and the high-temperature decoloring property of the same hue as the non-temperature-sensitive ink is printed on the white pattern. The ink 1 is formed by printing, and the high temperature decoloring ink 1 having the same hue as the non-thermosensitive ink is printed on the ink 1 by the high temperature decoloring ink 3 having the different hue with the non-thermosensitive ink. A desired character, symbol, picture, pattern or the like (for example, the display mark C in FIG. 1) different from the mark is printed.

High-temperature decolorable ink 1 having the same hue as the non-thermosensitive ink and high-temperature decolorable ink 3 having a different hue from the non-thermosensitive ink
Are inks that both develop color at a low temperature and disappear at a high temperature and are used in different hues, for example, in a combination of blue and red. The color combination is blue, red,
You can freely combine from yellow, green and black. Examples of the high-temperature decolorable ink 1 having the same hue as the non-thermosensitive ink and the high-temperature decolorable ink 3 having the different hue from the non-thermosensitive ink include, for example, Chromic Color L22 (Matsui Pigment & Chemicals Co., Ltd.). blue),

The non-thermosensitive ink 2 is a commonly used ink that does not develop and decolor due to a temperature change. For example, Neo Color manufactured by Matsui Dye Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. is non-thermosensitive. It can be used as a functional ink 2. The high-temperature decolorizable ink 1 and the non-thermosensitive ink 2 having the same hue as the non-thermosensitive ink must have the same hue and the difference between them cannot be visually recognized when printed adjacent to each other. .

The printing material of the present invention constructed as described above is now a high temperature decolorizable ink 1 and a non-thermosensitive ink having the same hue as the non-thermosensitive ink when exposed to a low temperature atmosphere, for example, 15 degrees Celsius or less. High-temperature decolorable ink 3 of different hue is in a colored state, and high-temperature decolorable ink 1 of the same hue as non-thermosensitive ink 1
Since the hue when the color is developed is of course the same as the hue of the non-thermosensitive ink 2, it is completely integrated with the hue of the non-thermosensitive ink 2.
Therefore, the display mark H illustrated in FIG. 1 is not visually recognized.

However, the hue of the high temperature decolorizable ink 3 having a different hue from that of the non-thermosensitive ink is different from that of the high temperature decolorizable ink 1 and the non-thermosensitive ink 2 having the same hue as the non-thermosensitive ink. Because it is different, non-thermosensitive ink and high temperature decolorable ink with different hue 3
The display mark C printed by can be visually recognized.

Next, when the above-mentioned printed matter is exposed to a high temperature atmosphere (for example, 25 degrees Celsius or more), the high temperature decolorizable ink 1 having the same hue as the non-thermosensitive ink and the high temperature having a different hue to the non-thermosensitive ink. The color of the decolorizable ink 3 disappears. The non-thermosensitive ink and the high-temperature decolorable ink 3 having a different hue are vertically overlapped with the high-temperature decolorable ink 1 and the non-thermosensitive ink 2 having the same hue as the non-thermosensitive ink. When the color of the hot ink and the high temperature decolorable ink 3 having a different hue disappears, the color of the high temperature decolorable ink 1 having the same hue as the non-thermosensitive ink also disappears.
Therefore, the white background of the printing substrate 4 appears at the portion of the high temperature decolorizable ink 1 having the same hue as the non-thermosensitive ink, and the display mark H appears as a blank character.

Thus, according to the present embodiment, the display mark C appears in the low temperature state and the display mark H appears in the high temperature state, so that the message can be transmitted in both the low temperature region and the high temperature region. The printed material of the present invention can be used for a wide range of purposes such as an energy saving label for indicating overheating, an abnormal temperature display label for an incubator, and an abnormal temperature display label for a tropical fish bowl.
