2. Description of the Related Art The guide bar of a chain saw exhibits unique vibration due to vibration from a vibration source such as an engine or vibration from a saw chain cutter during sawing, but the vibration causes the cut surface to become rough. Or the chain may come off. In order to prevent this, conventionally, a type in which a vibration absorbing material such as rubber is attached to the guide bar is known, but in this type of conventional guide bar, the vibration absorbing material is attached to the surface of the outer plate of the guide bar. Since it is arranged so as to be exposed, there is a disadvantage that the vibration absorbing material is easily damaged and the durability of the guide bar is not so good.

Means for Solving the Problems That is, according to the present invention, a guide bar of a chainsaw in which outer plates are joined to both sides of a middle plate has a hole formed in the middle plate, and the hole has a thickness smaller than that of the middle plate. The vibration absorbing members made of an elastic material having a large thickness are arranged so as to project slightly outward from the left and right surfaces of the middle plate, and the vibration absorbing members are compressed from both sides by the inner surfaces of the outer plates. It is characterized by being pressed and held in the hole.

Therefore, the vibration absorbing material is held in a compressed state between the outer plates without being exposed to the surface of the outer plate, and the vibration absorbing action is maintained for a long period of time.

The guide bar of the illustrated embodiment has a pair of left and right outer plates 1 and 2, and a middle plate 3 arranged between these outer plates 1 and 2, and the both outer plates 1 and 2 and the middle plate 3 are They are integrally joined together by a suitable joining technique such as spot welding. The middle plate 3 is formed with a plurality of substantially quadrangular pierced holes 4 arranged in the center of the middle plate 3 so as to be spaced apart from each other in the longitudinal direction, and each hole 4 has a substantially complementary shape such as rubber. The vibration absorbing member 5 made of a suitable elastic material is fitted. Each of the vibration absorbing members 5 has a thickness larger than that of the middle plate 3, so that each of the vibration absorbing members 5 is fitted into the hole 4 while protruding slightly outward from the left and right surfaces of the middle plate 3. There is. The outer plates 1 and 2 are arranged on both sides of the thus formed middle plate 3, and the outer plates 1 and 2 are pressed against the middle plate 3. Therefore, the outer plates 1 and 2 come into contact with the vibration-absorbing material 5 and come into contact with the intermediate plate 3 while being pressed from both sides into a compressed state. In this state, the outer plates 1 and 2 and the middle plate 3 are joined together by a joining technique such as spot welding, so that a guide bar can be manufactured. The guide bar manufactured in this manner protects the vibration-absorbing material 5 from trees and obstacles because the vibration-absorbing material 5 is not exposed on the surfaces of the outer plates 1 and 2 to improve its durability, and during sawing. It is possible to effectively absorb the vibration generated in the guide bar, prevent the cut surface of the object to be cut from becoming rough, and prevent the chain from coming off. Further, the material, shape and size of the hole 4 of the intermediate plate 3 and the vibration absorbing material 5, and the arrangement thereof are appropriately selected according to the vibration generated in the chain saw to which the guide bar is attached, so that the vibration tendency is changed or the guide bar is changed. It can be adapted to individual chainsaws.

Effect of the Invention With the configuration of the present invention described above, the present invention prevents the vibration absorbing material from being worn out because the vibration absorbing material is held in a compressed state between the outer plates without being exposed to the surface of the outer plate. The durability can be improved and the vibration generated in the guide bar during sawing can be effectively damped.By selecting the material, size, shape and arrangement of the holes of the middle plate and the vibration absorbing material appropriately It is possible to obtain an optimum guide bar, and it is possible to provide a guide bar having a simple structure and easy to manufacture.
