Abstract

Description

当業者であれば容易に理解できるように、分散型光ファイバセンシングシステムおよび方法は、温度、振動、歪みなどを含む様々な物理的パラメータをセンシングするなど、様々な有用なサービスを提供し、それによって、インフラストラクチャ監視の新しい時代を可能にする、非常に有用なものであることが示されている。

図1には、人工知能分析およびクラウドストレージ/サービスを含む分散型光ファイバセンシングシステムの一般化された構成および動作を示す概略図が示されている。図1を参照すると、インタロゲータに接続された光センシングファイバを観察することができる。知られているように、現代のインタロゲータは、ファイバへの入力信号を生成し、反射/散乱された後に受信された信号を検出/分析するシステムである。信号が分析され、ファイバに沿って遭遇する環境条件を示す出力が生成される。このように受信された信号は、ラマン後方散乱、レイリー後方散乱、およびブリリオン後方散乱などのファイバ内の反射から生じ得る。また、複数のモードの速度差を利用した順方向の信号であってもよい。一般性を失うことなく、以下の説明では、反射信号を想定しているが、同じアプローチを転送信号にも適用することができる。
理解されるように、現代のDFOSシステムは、周期的に光パルス(または任意の符号化信号)を生成し、それらを光ファイバに注入するインタロゲータを含む。注入された光パルス信号は、光ファイバに沿って伝送される。
ファイバに沿った位置では、信号のごく一部が散乱/反射され、インタロゲータに戻される。散乱/反射信号は、インタロゲータが検出するために使用する情報、例えば、機械的な振動を示す電力レベルの変化を伝送する。
反射信号は、電気領域に変換され、インタロゲータの内部で処理される。パルス注入時間と信号が検出された時間とに基づいて、インタロゲータは信号がファイバに沿ったどの位置から来ているかを決定し、したがって、ファイバに沿った各位置の活動を感知することができる。
分散型音響センシング(DAS)/分散型振動センシング(DVS)システムは、振動を検出し、光センシングファイバに沿って音響エネルギーを捕捉する。有利には、既存の、トラフィックを運ぶ光ファイバネットワークを利用して、分散型音響センサに変換し、実時間データを捕捉することができる。さらに、分類アルゴリズムを使用して、漏洩、ケーブル障害、侵入活動、または音響および/または振動の両方を含む他の異常な事象などの事象を検出および位置特定することができる。
現在、様々なDAS/DVS技術が使用されており、最も一般的なものはコヒーレント光時間領域反射率測定(C-OTDR)に基づくものである。C-OTDRは、レイリー後方散乱を利用し、音響周波数信号を長距離にわたって検出することができる。インタロゲータは、光センサファイバ(ケーブル)に沿ってコヒーレントレーザパルスを送信する。ファイバ内の散乱サイトにより、ファイバはパルス長と同じゲージ長(例えば、10メートル)を有する分散型干渉計として機能する。センサファイバに作用する音響擾乱(Acoustic Disturbance)は、ファイバの微視的な伸び又は圧縮(微小歪み)を発生させ、その結果、ファイバ内を通る光パルスの位相関係及び/又は振幅の変化を引き起こす。
次のレーザパルスが送信される前に、前のパルスがセンシングファイバの全長を移動し、その散乱/反射が戻る時間がなければならない。よって、最大パルスレートはファイバの長さによって決定される。したがって、通常はパルスレートの半分であるナイキスト周波数までの周波数で変化する音響信号を測定することができる。より高い周波数は非常に速く減衰するため、事象の検出と分類に関連する周波数のほとんどは、2kHzの範囲の低い範囲にある。
図2は、本開示の態様による、電柱によって空中に吊り下げられ/支持された電線/ケーブルを示す概略図である。この図から分かるように、電柱は、通常、電話およびケーブルTVの電線/ケーブルを含む空中通信ケーブルを含む。
勿論、当業者であれば、図に示すような電柱が電力会社から住民に電力を供給し、電話、テレビ、およびインターネットのネットワークの成長を可能にする電線を支持するために広く使用されてきたことを容易に理解し、認識するであろう。このような電柱は、一般に木製であり、その木製素材はハードウェアおよびケーブル装置の交換に大きな柔軟性を提供する。しかし、このような木製素材は、冬季の除雪車の損傷(通信ケーブルの下)、自動車の衝突(通信ケーブルの下)、ドローンの電柱(通信ケーブルの上)への衝突、ならびに樹木の損傷(電柱上のどこでも)などの外部の危険に対しても脆弱である。電柱で発生するこれらの危険事象は、電柱に様々な振動レベルを与える可能性があり、したがって、様々なレベルの注意が必要である。
知られているように、分散型光ファイバセンシングシステムは、既存の電気通信光ファイバケーブルを分散型センサとして使用して、電柱への機械的な衝撃から生じる光ケーブルの応答を捕捉することができる。しかしながら、現在の分散型ファイバセンシングシステムは、これらの事象(通信ケーブルの下または上)を分類するようには設計されていない。本発明では、分散型ファイバセンシングから収集した振動データに基づいて、これらの事象の位置を特定するための機械学習アルゴリズムを設計した。

容易に理解され、認識されるように、電柱に設置された(電柱から吊り下げられた)上述の電線/ケーブルは、吊り下げられた電線/ケーブルに影響を及ぼす、倒木、動物の活動、ドローン/凧揚げ、自動車事故、天候などの動的な危険を受ける可能性がある。このような危険に適切に対処しないと、深刻なサービスの中断や人/財産に対する脅威が発生する可能性がある。
さらに理解されるように、危険が電柱から吊り下げられた電線/ケーブルに影響を及ぼす場合、影響を受けた電線/ケーブルを迅速に特定し、影響を受けた電柱の正確な位置を報告することは、サービスの維持/復旧にとって極めて重要である。農村部の電柱の場合、これはさらに重要である。なぜなら、人間の技術者が最初にどの電柱かを正確に特定することなく、影響を受け/遮断された電柱/電線/ケーブルをセクションごとに位置特定するのには法外な時間がかかるからである。
図3は、本開示の態様による、全体的な電柱の危険事象判定を示す概略フロー図である。この図に例示的に示されているように、電柱への機械的衝撃は、DFOSシステムの動作からDFOS信号として検出/収集される。このように収集されたデータは処理され、モデルを作成するために使用される。このモデルは、その後、電柱に加えられた衝撃の性質を分析/評価/予測するために使用される。
本発明のアプローチは、電気通信光ファイバケーブルにおける分散型ファイバセンシングを使用してデータを収集することに留意されたい。AIエンジンを使用して、事象の特定および位置特定のために収集されたデータを分析する。有利なことに、本発明のAIエンジンは、事象が様々な電柱の位置で発生した場合でも、様々な振動パターンを高精度で認識することができる。本発明のAIエンジンは、リアルタイムで発生する事象を高精度(90%以上)で分析することができる。
上述のように、本発明のシステムおよび方法は、パターンを識別するために、高品質のデータの収集と機械学習モデルを有利に採用する。
データ収集プロセスのために、分散型ファイバセンシングインタロゲータを空中光センサケーブルに接続し、複数の電柱を有利に含む可能性がある目標経路に沿って歪み信号を収集する。生データの有効性を確認するために、データの品質チェック、フィルタリング、窓掛け(windowing)が適用される。データは「ハンマー試験」を使用して収集され、経路に沿って(すなわち、ハンマーを用いて)電柱に機械的衝撃が加えられ、当該テスト中に、DFOSデータが収集される。
機械学習モデルの場合、プロセスは、訓練段階と試験段階とに分けられる。データは、収集され、前処理される。訓練段階で、収集されたデータの半分を使用し、試験段階で、収集されたデータの半分を使用する。このモデルでは、アンサンブル法に5万個の推定器を使用する。
機械加工された学習モデルは、事前訓練され、事前に試験される。合計で1400個のデータポイントがあり、訓練用の半分と試験用の半分とに分けられる。ツリーベースのアンサンブル法を使用し、5万個の推定器を用いる。訓練精度は100%、試験精度は91%である。
図に示されるように、落下する肢、樹木、凧などの外部事象は、吊り下げられた電線/ケーブルに影響を与えたり、異常を引き起こしたりする可能性がある。このように検出されると、電柱の位置が特性される可能性がある。
図4は、本開示の態様による、電柱から空中に吊り下げられた電線/ケーブルの異常に関連する特定の電線タイプの識別を示す概略フロー図である。
この図を参照すると、ステップ1で、分散型光ファイバセンシングインタロゲータが、空中光センサケーブルに接続され、目標経路に沿って歪み信号を収集していることが分かる。このステップでは、生データの有効性を確認するために、データの品質チェック、フィルタリング、窓掛けも適用される。
ステップ2で、電柱の機械的な衝撃事象をシミュレートするために、電柱で「ハンマー試験」が行われる。このステップでは、機械的な衝撃によって生じる振動信号(DFOSリターン信号)が、機械的な衝撃事象の前、最中、および後に収集される。ハンマー試験の衝撃は、電柱の上半分と下半分で行われるため、振動信号に異なる影響を与える。これらのハンマー試験の信号は、AIエンジンが個々の電柱と電柱上の位置とに関する後続の事象とその位置を特定するための情報を提供する。
ステップ3で、DFOSシステムおよびインタロゲータは、対象の光センサファイバ経路に接続され、経路の連続的な監視を開始する。
ステップ4で、複数の電柱の各々の位置が特定され、この位置は、その後、異常な衝撃事象から生じる機械的な衝撃事象の記録に使用される。
ステップ5で、異常が発生すると、システムは、光センサファイバに沿った位置で生データ(DFOS振動信号)を自動的に抽出する。同時に、振動データセットが、クラウドストレージシステムに転送される。データの前処理の後に、ダウンサンプリングと蓄積の動作が実行され、その結果、より強い信号パターンが得られる。
ステップ6で、抽出された生データ(DFOS振動信号)が処理され、その後の予測のために機械学習モデルに供給される。
最後に、ステップ7で、機械学習モデルが、電柱のどの部分が影響を受けているかを特定する。システムは、アラームをトリガし、その後のサービスの派遣の記録および開始のために、事象をクラウドベースに送信する。
この時点で、いくつかの具体例を使用して本開示を提示したが、当業者は本教示がそのように限定されないことを認識するのであろう。したがって、本開示は、本明細書に添付される特許請求の範囲によってのみ限定されるべきである。
Claims (5)
- 電柱の危険事象の位置特定法であって、
分散型光ファイバセンシングシステム(DFOS)を提供するステップであって、前記システムは、
複数の電柱から吊り下げられている空中光センサファイバと、
前記光ファイバと光通信するDFOSインタロゲータおよびアナライザとを含み、
前記複数の電柱の各々が、前記空中光ファイバに加えて、電力線および電気通信ケーブルを含む追加の電線/ケーブルを吊り下げるステップと、
前記DFOSシステムを動作させ、動作中に受信したDFOS信号に応答して訓練されたモデルを生成するステップと、
前記DFOSシステムを連続的に動作させ、異常を検出すると、前記訓練されたモデルを使用して、特定の電柱と、前記異常の影響を受ける前記特定の電柱上の位置を決定するステップと、を含む方法。 - 前記影響を受けた電柱上の前記位置が、前記光センサファイバが前記電柱に取り付けられている前記影響を受けた電柱上の位置の上方または下方であるかどうかを決定するステップを、さらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記異常に関する情報をクラウドストレージ設備に格納するステップを、さらに含む、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記訓練されたモデルの生成は、前記複数の電柱に加えられた機械的な衝撃に応答して生成されたデータを使用して実行される、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の電柱に加えられる前記機械的な衝撃は、前記複数の電柱の各々に対する前記光センサファイバの取り付け位置の上下で行われる、請求項6に記載の方法。
