Abstract

[Problem] To provide a manufacturing method for a door that can easily attach a decorative material and has good assembly properties. [Solution] The manufacturing method for a door according to the present invention includes a door body 3, a cap 5, and a decorative material 7, the door body 3 is provided with an engaging portion 23 at a position corresponding to the ends 7a, 7b of the decorative material 7, and each cap 5 (5a, 5b) is provided with an engaged portion 29, and after the engaged portion 29 of the cap 5 is attached to the engaging portion 23 of the door body 3 by engaging it, the decorative material 7 is attached between the caps 5 (5a, 5b). Description

The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing doors.

As shown in Figure 7, a door 101 in which a decorative material 103 is attached to the surface of the door body 107 is known.

However, the door 101 had to be attached to the surface of the door body 107 with double-sided tape 105 while the decorative materials 103 were positioned one by one, which made assembly difficult.

Therefore, the present invention aims to provide a method for manufacturing doors that allows for easy installation of decorative materials and is easy to assemble.

The invention described in claim 1 is a method for manufacturing a door comprising a door body, caps, and decorative material, the door body being provided with an engaging portion at a position corresponding to the end of the decorative material, each cap being provided with an engaged portion, and the decorative material being attached between the caps after the engaged portion of the cap is attached to the engaging portion of the door body by engaging it.

According to the invention described in claim 1, the decorative material is simply attached between the caps after the engaged portion of the cap is attached to the engaging portion of the door body by engaging it. Since the decorative material does not need to be positioned one by one as in the past, the decorative material is easily attached and the door is easy to assemble.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
5 and 6, the door 1 according to this embodiment is a door and includes a door body 3, a cap 5, and a decorative material 7. The cap 5 and the decorative material 7 are attached to the exterior side surface of the door body 3.

As shown in Figures 2 and 3, the door body 3 comprises a frame body 9 surrounded by an upper frame 11, a lower frame 13, a hanging frame 15, and a door end frame 17, an indoor side surface material 19 affixed to the indoor side of the frame body 9, and an outdoor side surface material 21 affixed to the outdoor side of the frame body 9.
As shown in Fig. 2, in the door body 3, the outdoor surface material 21 is provided with engagement portions 23 at positions corresponding to the ends of each of the decorative materials 7. In this embodiment, the engagement portions 23 are round through holes. The positions of the engagement portions 23 are provided on the door body 3 in correspondence with the positions where one end 7a and the other end 7b of each of the decorative materials 7 (see Fig. 5) are disposed. In this embodiment, one end 7a of the decorative material 7 is the upper end, and the other end 7b of the decorative material 7 is the lower end, and the engagement portions 23 are formed in a horizontal row at a predetermined interval in the left-right direction on the upper and lower sides of the outdoor surface material 21 of the door body 3.

As shown in Fig. 1, the caps 5 include a one-end cap 5a that is attached to one end 7a of the decorative material 7, and an other-end cap 5b that is attached to the other end 7b of the decorative material 7. Since the one-end cap 5a and the other-end cap 5b have the same shape and configuration, the following description will focus on the one-end cap 5a, and the other-end cap 5b will be omitted by assigning the same reference numerals to parts that have the same functions and effects. In the following description, when the one-end cap 5a and the other-end cap 5b are to be distinguished from each other, the reference numerals 5a and 5b will be used to describe them, but when no distinction is made between them, they will simply be described as cap 5.
As shown in Fig. 1, the cap 5 comprises an attachment portion 25 that is attached to the door main body 3, and a cap body 27 that covers the end of the decorative material 7. The attachment portion 25 is disposed on the outer surface of the door main body 3, and the cap body 27 (see Fig. 4) has the same shape as the end surface of the decorative material 7. The cap body 27 is disposed parallel to the upper or lower surface of the door main body 3, and the attachment portion 25 and the cap body 27 form a roughly L-shape in side view.
The mounting portion 25 is provided with an engaged portion 29 that engages with the engaging portion 23 (see FIG. 2) of the door main body 3, and a pair of decorative material guide portions 31 that guide the mounting of the decorative material 7.
The engaged portion 29 is a protrusion that protrudes toward the door body 3 at approximately the center of the width direction (left-right direction) of the mounting portion 25. In this embodiment, the engaged portion 29 is a rivet, and one end (the outside end) of the rivet is crushed to fix it to the mounting portion 25.
The pair of decorative material guides 31 are provided so as to protrude from both ends (left and right ends) in the width direction of the mounting portion 25 toward the outside of the room, and have inclined surfaces 31a formed on the opposing and opposite sides of the distal ends (outdoor ends) of the decorative material guides 31. The inclined surfaces 31a are inclined surfaces so that the thickness of the decorative material guides 31 increases from the outside of the room toward the inside of the room (the door body 3 side).

As shown in Figure 5, the decorative material 7 is provided on the exterior side of the door body 3, and each decorative material 7 has a longitudinal dimension extending from the upper end to the lower end of the door body 3, and is provided in multiple rows across the left and right sides of the surface of the door body 3.
As shown in Fig. 1(b), the decorative material 7 is designed with a smooth shape on the exterior side, with curved protrusions 7c on the left and right sides protruding toward the exterior and a curved recess 7d in the center in the left-right direction. Fixing parts 7e are provided on the interior side of the left and right curved protrusions 7c, which protrude so as to sandwich the mounting parts 25 of the cap 5 from the left and right, and fix the decorative material 7 to the exterior side of the door body 3. Double-sided tape 33 is provided in the longitudinal direction of the fixing parts 7e, and the decorative material 7 is fixed to the door body 3 by adhesion.

Next, a method for manufacturing the door will be described.
(1) Assembling the Door Body The upper frame 11 (see Fig. 1(c)), lower frame 13 (see Fig. 1(c)), hanging frame 15 (see Fig. 3), and door end frame 17 (see Fig. 3) are assembled to form the frame body 9. Next, surface materials 19, 21 (see Fig. 1(c)) are attached to the indoor and outdoor sides of the frame body 9, respectively.

(2) Forming the engagement parts As shown in Fig. 2, the exterior surface material 21 is provided with engagement parts 23 for engaging with the cap 5. The engagement parts 23 are provided on the upper and lower sides of the door body 3 at positions corresponding to one end 7a and the other end 7b of the decorative material 7, respectively. The engagement parts 23 are provided at predetermined positions in the left-right direction according to the number of decorative materials 7.
In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 2, the engagement portion 23 is a hole, and therefore a hole is drilled in a predetermined position of the exterior surface material 21 .

2 and 1, the cap 5 is provided in advance with an engaged portion 29 at the mounting portion 25. In this embodiment, the engaged portion 29 is one end of a rivet, and the other end of the rivet is crushed and attached to the mounting portion 25.

In the door body 3 , the engaging portions 23 are engaged with the engaging portions 29 of each cap 5 , and the caps 5 are attached to the outdoor surface material 21 of the door body 3 .
The cap 5 is attached to the door body 3 by inserting the protrusion, which is the engaged portion 29 , into the hole, which is the engaging portion 23 .
The caps 5 are attached such that the cap body 27 faces up at the cap 5a on one end side, and the cap body 27 faces down at the cap 5b on the other end side.
FIG. 3 shows the state in which the cap 5 is attached to the door body 3.

(4) Attachment of Decorative Material First, remove the surface seal from the double-sided tape 33 (see FIG. 1(b)) attached to the fixing portion 7e (see FIG. 1(b)) of each decorative material 7 to expose the adhesive surface of the double-sided tape.
Next, as shown in FIG. 4, each of the decorative materials 7 is attached between the corresponding one end cap 5a and the other end cap 5b, one on each side.
Each decorative material 7 is positioned between the cap body 27 of one end cap 5a and the cap body 27 of the other end cap 5b, with the left and right fixing portions 7e, 7e positioned to sandwich the mounting portions 25 of each cap 5, and pressed against the outdoor surface material 21 of the door body 3.
As shown in Figure 1 (c), the left and right fixing portions 7e, 7e of the decorative material 7 are guided by the inclined surface 31a of the decorative material guide portion 31 and elastically deform so as to widen the gap between the fixing portions 7e, 7e. After passing the inclined surface 31a, the fixing portions 7e, 7e elastically return to their original shape and are guided to the left and right of the decorative material guide portion 31, and are adhesively fixed to the door body 3 by the double-sided tape 33 provided on the fixing portions 7e, 7e.
In this manner, each decorative material 7 is attached in sequence.

The effects of the door manufacturing method according to the embodiment will be described.
As shown in Figures 2 and 4, after the engaged portion 29 on the cap 5 is attached to the engaging portion 23 of the door body 3 by engaging it, the decorative material 7 is simply attached between the caps 5a and 5b. Since the decorative material 7 does not have to be positioned and attached one by one as in the conventional method, the decorative material is easily attached and the door is easy to assemble.

1(c), the decorative material 7 is attached and fixed to the door body 3 by providing double-sided tape 33 at the fixing portion 7e, which makes it easy to fix and reduces the thickness of the decorative material 7. That is, when fixing the decorative material by a locking structure in which a locking portion is provided on the door body 3 and a locked portion is provided on the decorative material, a protruding dimension (height) is required for the locking structure, but in this embodiment, by adhering with double-sided tape 33, the height for the locking structure is not required.
Since the engaging portion 23 of the door body 3 is a hole and the engaged portion 29 of the cap 5 is a protrusion, the structure of the engaging portion and the engaged portion is simple and can be easily formed.
The caps 5 are provided at positions corresponding to both ends of the decorative material 7 to close the ends of the decorative material 7, so that the decorative material 7 can be produced by extrusion molding and has a good appearance.
The cap 5 is provided with a decorative material guide portion 31 for guiding the attachment of the decorative material 7, so that the decorative material 7 can be easily positioned relative to the cap 5 by simply pressing the decorative material 7 against the cap 5.

The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and various modifications are possible without departing from the gist of the present invention.
For example, the engaging portion 23 on the door body 3 is not limited to being a hole and the engaged portion 29 on the cap 5 is not limited to being a protrusion. The engaging portion 23 may be a protrusion and the engaged portion 29 may be a hole.
In the above-described embodiment, the projection of the engaged portion 29 may be bent into a hook shape and hooked into the hole of the engaging portion 23 for engagement.
The decorative material 7 is not limited to being attached vertically across the top-bottom direction of the door body 3, but may also be attached horizontally across the left-right direction.
The door 1 is not limited to a door, but may be a sliding door.
