Abstract

[Problem] To provide a floor cleaning tool capable of effectively removing hair, pet hair, water, small sand, etc., that has become embedded deep in carpets when cleaning floors or carpets. [Solution] The floor cleaning tool comprises a handle bar attached to the upper part of the tool body 100, and a cleaning member 200 attached to the lower end. Description

The present invention relates to a cleaning tool used for cleaning floors, and in particular to a floor cleaning tool that can effectively remove hair, pet hair, water, small sand, etc. that has become embedded in carpets when cleaning floors or carpets, using a main cleaning member made of a silicone material.

Broom-type cleaning tools are commonly used as floor cleaning tools. Broom-type cleaning tools sweep up and collect various types of dirt and foreign objects that have fallen on the floor using a brush section with many bristles attached to the main body at the end of a stick that also functions as a handle.

Broom-type cleaning tools with stiff brushes are primarily used to sweep up debris on roads and construction sites outdoors. Broom-type cleaning tools with soft brushes are often used to clean indoor floors such as hardwood floors, linoleum, and carpets.

However, when using such a broom-type cleaning tool with a brush to clean indoors, there are problems in that the numerous bristles of the brush tend to catch a lot of hair and other debris, and the bristles of the cleaning tool tend to fall off onto the floor, which can cause the floor to become dirty if used for an extended period of time.

In addition, when using such a broom-type cleaning tool with a brush, water that falls on the floor is difficult to sweep up and spreads, and dust adheres to the water, making it necessary to sweep repeatedly, which is inconvenient. In the case of carpets, fallen dirt and foreign objects cannot be cleaned well with a cleaning tool with a brush, so a vacuum cleaner must be used, which is inconvenient.

A prior art that solves this problem is the "vacuum cleaner with an auxiliary cleaning unit" disclosed in Korean Patent Publication No. 10-1982453 (published on August 28, 2019), shown below as Patent Document 1.

Patent Document 1 discloses a cleaning tool that includes a cleaning section that is provided at the top and has a housing casing and is connected to a rod-shaped grip section, a plurality of frames that are arranged at a predetermined interval from each other at the bottom end of the housing, and an auxiliary cleaning section that is connected to the bottom end of the cleaning section and comes into contact with the object to be cleaned by deformation of the cleaning section, the cleaning section having a main frame section and a reinforcing frame section, the main frame section being arranged between a first frame that is formed at an inclination angle that forms a streamlined shape on one side of the bottom of the housing and a second frame that extends in a curved shape on the other side of the bottom of the housing, and has a twist prevention section that integrally connects the main frame section to the bottom of the housing.

Another prior art is the "vacuum cleaner with auxiliary cleaning unit" disclosed in Korean Patent Publication No. 10-1432074 (published on August 21, 2014) shown in Patent Document 2 below.

Patent Document 2 discloses a cleaning tool that includes a grip portion that can be held by a user, a first surface that is elongated in the left-right direction so that its lower end comes into contact with an object to be cleaned, and a second surface that is formed on the opposite side of the first surface to correspond to the first surface, the cleaning tool is connected to the grip portion and has a flexible cleaning portion, and auxiliary cleaning portions that protrude toward at least one of the first surface and the second surface and come into contact with the object to be cleaned by deformation of the cleaning portion, the auxiliary cleaning portions are provided in a vertical direction, and the protruding length gradually increases toward the top.

However, in the technology disclosed in Patent Document 1, because the soft cleaning part is directly connected to the grip part, there is a problem that the soft cleaning part shakes too much during cleaning, resulting in poor cleaning effectiveness. Also, in the technology disclosed in Patent Document 2, the high-rigidity cleaning part is held only by a thin frame arranged in a lattice pattern, and the space is too large, resulting in low rigidity and elasticity of the cleaning part, making the cleaning tool unsuitable for removing hair or cleaning carpets.

In particular, in recent years, many people have been raising companion animals such as dogs and cats, which has resulted in a large amount of animal hair falling onto the floor. The animal hair that falls onto the floor is short in length and cannot be properly removed using general cleaning tools, resulting in a problem of low effectiveness in cleaning up animal hair.

The present invention has been made to solve the problems of the prior art described above, and aims to provide a floor cleaning tool that can effectively remove hair, pet hair, water, small sand, etc. that has become embedded deep in the carpet when cleaning the floor or carpet with the cleaning member of the tool body.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a floor cleaning tool whose main body has good rigidity and elasticity and is highly durable.

In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the present invention provides a floor cleaning tool that includes a handle bar attached to the upper part of the tool body and a cleaning member attached to the lower end of the tool body, the cleaning member that is connected to the lower end of the tool body being made of either rubber, silicone, or thermoplastic resin, and that has main cleaning blades that protrude from both sides of the lower end and face each other, and rod-shaped protrusions that are arranged in succession in two or more rows and have a small diameter protruding from the upper part of the main cleaning blade, and are provided in a rod shape for removing hair and pet hair.

The cleaning member further includes a plurality of rectangular carpet cleaning projections that are arranged diagonally above the upper rod projections provided on the cleaning member.

Furthermore, the above-mentioned cleaning member is equipped with upper and lower barriers provided at the top and bottom of the upper rod-shaped protrusions arranged in multiple rows, which capture dust, hair and pet hair removed by the main cleaning blade and the rod-shaped protrusions and prevent the dust and hair from escaping upwards.

The device body is formed in a triangular shape with straight left and right sides at the base of the rod connection part provided at the top of the device body, and multiple hexagonal holes formed by connecting multiple hexagonal frames to each other are arranged in a triangular shape along the left and right sides. Furthermore, a first space portion and a second space portion are formed with a larger diameter than the hexagonal holes so as to be provided at the front lower and middle parts of the device body, which gives the device body elasticity and rigidity and prevents dust from scattering during cleaning.

Compared to conventional brooms, the present invention has the effect of being able to thoroughly remove not only dirt but also hair and pet hair that has fallen on the floor. This is because the main cleaning blade attached at an acute angle to the lower end of the cleaning member adheres to the surface and sweeps away fine dirt and the like, cleaning the floor surface, and also because the hair and pet hair that has fallen on the floor surface can be easily rolled up and removed by multiple rod-shaped protrusions installed in multiple rows, cleaning the floor surface.

In addition, the present invention is extremely effective when cleaning carpets, because multiple carpet cleaning protrusions arranged diagonally in one direction on the cleaning member effectively shake off and roll up fine sand and other particles that have become embedded deep in the carpet.

In addition, the upper and lower barriers sandwiching the rod-shaped protrusions always prevent dust collected by the main cleaning blade, as well as hair and pet hair wrapped around the rod-shaped protrusions, from escaping upwards when the appliance body moves, allowing for more thorough cleaning.

The present invention also has the effect of enabling cleaning without dust flying around, due to the multiple hexagonal frames and hexagonal holes formed in the tool body, and the first and second spaces that are larger in diameter than the hexagonal holes. The tool body also has excellent elasticity and rigidity, improving durability.

Below, a preferred embodiment of the floor cleaning tool according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.

It should be understood that the terms used to describe the present invention below should not be interpreted as being limited to their general or dictionary meanings, and that the embodiments described in this specification and the configurations shown in the drawings are merely preferred embodiments of the present invention and do not represent the entire technical idea of the present invention, and that various equivalents and modifications may exist at the time of this application.

Figure 1 is a perspective view showing the state in which a rod is connected to the tool body of the present invention, Figure 2 is a front view showing the state in which the tool body and cleaning member of the present invention are connected, and Figure 3 is an enlarged side view showing the structure of the cleaning member of the present invention.

In the present invention, as shown in Figures 1 to 3, it is common to configure a floor cleaning tool so that a handle bar 10 is provided on the top of the tool body 100 and a soft cleaning member 200 is provided on the bottom of the tool body 100.

The tool body 100 is preferably made of resin, and the cleaning member 200, which is connected to the cleaning member connection part 130 at the lower end of the tool body 100, is preferably made of soft rubber, silicone, or thermoplastic resins such as TPE and TPR.

Here, the cleaning member 200 of the present invention is equipped with a main cleaning blade 230 and rod-shaped protrusions 240a, 240b arranged in multiple rows for removing human hair and pet hair.

That is, the main cleaning blade 230 may protrude from one or both sides of the lower end of the cleaning member 200, and the rod-shaped protrusions 240a, 240b for removing human hair or pet hair may be small-diameter rod-shaped and protrude in multiple rows, for example, two or more rows, arranged continuously. This allows for effective hair removal.

In the figure, the reference number 30 (for which no explanation is given) indicates hair or pet hair.

In the present invention, cleaning is performed by holding the rod 10 in the hand and moving the tool body 100 left and right, and cleaning is performed by the cleaning member 200 provided at the bottom end of the tool body 100.

Figure 4 is a side view showing the main cleaning blade and rod-shaped protrusions in contact with the floor surface in the present invention.

As shown in FIG. 4a, the main cleaning blade 230 protruding at an acute angle from the lower end of the cleaning member 200 sweeps away dirt such as dust and sand that has fallen on the floor. Hair or pet hair 30 that has fallen on the floor wraps around rod-shaped protrusions 240a and 240b that are provided in multiple rows, for example, two or more rows, on the main cleaning blade 230, and is smoothly removed.

Here, it is preferable that the rod-shaped protrusions 240a, 240b provided in multiple rows are arranged in a staggered pattern so that the protrusions in the lower row are located between the protrusions in the upper row.

During cleaning, short hairs and pet hairs 30 that have fallen to the floor are wrapped in a zigzag pattern around the upper and lower rod-shaped protrusions 240a, 240b arranged in multiple rows, and the wrapped state is maintained firmly, so the hair is removed more effectively.

Figure 4b is a side view showing the carpet cleaning lugs in contact with the carpet in the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 4b, the cleaning member 200 of the present invention is provided with a plurality of rectangular carpet cleaning projections 250 that protrude to a predetermined length and are arranged at an angle above the upper rod projection 240a.

That is, when further force is applied to the appliance body 100 during carpet cleaning so that the carpet cleaning projection 250 comes into contact with the carpet surface, the cleaning member 200 made of a soft material bends as shown in FIG. 4b, and the carpet cleaning projection 250 comes into contact with the carpet, shaking off dirt such as dust and sand that is deep inside the carpet, and lifting the dirt above the carpet in the diagonal direction of the carpet cleaning projection 250. The main cleaning blade 230 sweeps up the dirt, allowing for smooth cleaning.

In addition, the numerous hairs and pet hairs 30 that fall onto the carpet are kept well caught by the multiple rod-shaped protrusions 240a, 240b arranged in multiple rows, so the floor cleaning tool of the present invention can be said to be very effective for cleaning carpets.

The cleaning member 200 of the present invention may further include an upper barrier 210 and a lower barrier 220 provided above and below the rod-shaped protrusions 240a, 240b arranged in multiple rows, as shown in Figs. 2 and 3. The upper barrier 210 and the lower barrier 220 capture dust, hair, pet hair 30, etc. removed by the main cleaning blade 230 and the rod-shaped protrusions 240a, 240b, and prevent the dust, hair, and pet hair from escaping upwards.

In addition, when the cleaning member 200 is used to clean a floor or carpet, the dust cleaned by the main cleaning blade 230 is blocked by the lower barrier 220 and does not escape upward. In particular, short hair or pet hair 30 wrapped around the multiple rows of rod-shaped protrusions 240a, 240b is effectively trapped by the upper barrier 210 and the lower barrier 220 during cleaning. This maximizes the cleaning effect.

Here, it is preferable that the rod-shaped protrusions 240a, 240b and the carpet cleaning protrusion 250 are formed to protrude longer than the main cleaning blade 230.

As shown in FIG. 4, the cleaning member 200, which is made of a soft material, bends during cleaning, and the rod-shaped protrusions 240a, 240b easily come into contact with the floor, allowing hair and pet hair to be removed effectively. Furthermore, if a greater force is applied to press the cleaning member 200 when cleaning a carpet, the carpet cleaning protrusions 250 and the rod-shaped protrusions easily come into contact with the carpet surface, allowing the carpet to be cleaned effectively.

On the other hand, it is preferable that the upper barrier 210 and the lower barrier 220 of the cleaning member 200 protrude to a height less than or equal to the height of the main cleaning blade 230.

As described above, when cleaning while pressing the cleaning member 200, when the main cleaning blade 230 and the rod-shaped protrusions 240a, 240b are brought into contact with the floor, the upper and lower barriers 210, 220 capture dust without coming into contact with the floor. This prevents the abnormal "beep" noise that occurs when the upper barrier 210 and lower barrier 220 come into contact with the floor.

In the present invention, the device body 100 is formed in a triangular shape with left and right sides 101, 102 extending linearly from the vertex where the rod connecting portion 120 is provided, and it is preferable that a plurality of hexagonal frames 140 are connected to each other and arranged in a triangular shape along the left and right sides 101, 102 to form a hexagonal hole 150.

Here, it is preferable that the instrument body 100 further includes, in addition to the hexagonal holes 150, a first space 160a and a second space 160b formed at the front lower end and center of the instrument body 100, which are larger in diameter than either of the hexagonal holes 150.

That is, the first space 160a is a cutout space formed at the tip of the instrument body 100 to provide elasticity while reducing weight, and the second space 160b is a cutout space for providing elasticity to the hexagonal frame 140 located inside the hexagonal hole 150.

The hexagonal frame 140 preferably has a diamond-shaped cross-section that thickens toward the center, as shown in FIG. 5.

And because each hexagonal frame 140 has the same width and a diamond-shaped central thickness, the instrument body 100 of the present invention exhibits high rigidity and elasticity compared to an instrument body having a frame of the same overall thickness. Therefore, the rigidity and durability of the entire instrument body 100 can be improved.

In addition, when the device body 100 is moved left and right for cleaning, air can easily escape through the multiple hexagonal holes 150 and the first and second spaces 160a, 160b, which have a larger diameter than the hexagonal holes 150, so dust and other particles that have accumulated on the front surface of the device body 100 are not blown away, improving cleaning performance.

The invention made by the inventors has been specifically described above based on the embodiments, but the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiments, and it will be clear to those skilled in the art that various modifications are possible without departing from the gist of the present invention.

A floor cleaning tool comprising a handle bar (10) provided at an upper end of a tool body (100) and a cleaning member (200) provided at a lower end of the tool body (100),
The cleaning member (200) connected to the lower end of the tool body (100) is made of any of rubber, silicone, and thermoplastic resin, and has a main cleaning blade (230) protruding from one or both sides of the lower end thereof;
A plurality of rectangular carpet cleaning projections (250) are formed to be obliquely arranged on the upper portion of the upper rod projection (240a);
The main cleaning blade (230) has two or more rod-shaped protrusions (240a, 240b) arranged in succession in a plurality of rows, each protruding from the upper portion of the main cleaning blade (230) with a small diameter, for removing hair and pet hair;
