前記継手本体に前記各ユニオンナットを螺合緊締させて前記パッキンにより前記筒状部を前記既設管の外周面に押圧させると共に、
前記緊締手段により前記一対の分割体を前記既設管に緊締固定して前記中央部を前記既設管に近接させると共に前記歯部を前記既設管に食い込ませる管継手における管端防食構造の施工方法。

前記本体部の裏面には、前記管側へ向けて突出する歯部が前記本体部の端部と前記本体部の長手方向の中央部との間に形成され且つ前記中央部に対し線対称に一対設けられてあり、
前記突出部は、前記緊締手段が貫通する貫通孔を有し前記ゴム部材を挟持するフランジ部を少なくとも有し、
各分割体を前記フックにより前記ユニオンナットの前記外周面に係止させると共に前記一対の分割体を前記緊締手段で連結して前記ゴム部材を対向する各フランジ部で挟持した状態において、前記歯部の歯先の内径は前記管の外径と前記ゴムカバーの肉厚の2倍との和よりも大である管継手における管端防食構造に用いられる止輪。
