Abstract

[Problem] To provide underwear for men with true phimosis or pseudo-phimosis that can avoid discomfort caused by the foreskin covering the glans by always pulling the foreskin toward the base of the penis or from behind the scrotum when wearing the underwear. [Solution] By attaching a penis fixing support device 3 to the outer front surface 1 of the main body of the men's underwear, the penis can be held at any angle, such as horizontally or upward, while the foreskin is held closer to the base of the penis. Description

The present invention relates to men's underwear and a penis support device, and is related to men's underwear that reduces the discomfort caused by the foreskin covering the glans, suitable for men with true phimosis or pseudo-phimosis.

Some conventional men's underwear separates the penis and scrotum by creating a space using an opening in the fabric of the underwear itself, but there are no commercially available products that fully consider the integration of the separated parts when bending forward or when the penis contracts. Underwear that is intended to hold the penis using a positioning and holding mechanism such as a ring member can be attached to the penis while taking into account the length and thickness of each individual's penis to some extent, but when removing it from the penis, there is no gap between the ring member and the penis large enough for a finger to fit in, making it difficult to operate the small, single-point fastening member. Even if both hands are used, it is still difficult to place the ring member over the penis and operate the fastening member to adjust the diameter of the ring member in a space smaller than both hands, called the urination opening, from the line of sight above the penis.

In the men's underwear described in the two patent documents above, there is no gap between the ring-shaped member and the penis when removing the underwear, making it difficult to pull the small, single-point fastening member. Also, in people with true phimosis or pseudo-phimosis, the foreskin ends up enveloping the ring-shaped member, making it ineffective in correcting phimosis.

As in Patent Document 1, it seems difficult to adjust the diameter of the annular member by pressing down on the annular member in a space smaller than both hands called the urination opening while holding down the elastic edge from above the penis in the line of sight, and then operating the locking member to place it over the penis. If the position of the elastic edge is lowered so that fingers can reach it from the perspective of operability, it will come close to the glans, and the glans will be exposed from the elastic edge during normal and erect conditions. Therefore, if the glans rubs against the inside of the trousers, it may cause pain to the wearer.

When using a string-like member as shown in Figure 8 of Patent Document 1, if the attachment position of the ring-like member is above the glans as shown in Figure 7, the string-like member will simply sag during erection and will not have the effect of holding down the foreskin. Also, if the structure is such that the elastic edge tightly holds down the foreskin during erection, the held down foreskin will cover the glans when the erection relaxes. Also, if the locking member is too tightly fixed and the ring-like member does not stretch enough, the patient will feel a tightness and pain if the erection continues for a long time, such as when sleeping.

If the hook-and-loop fastener is placed on the inside of the underwear as in Patent Document 2, when the sealed portion of the fold-in piece is rolled forward, the hook-and-loop fastener will come into direct contact with the body, causing discomfort and pain to the wearer.

The present invention provides underwear for men with true or false phimosis that can avoid discomfort caused by the foreskin covering the glans by always pulling the foreskin toward the base of the penis or from behind the scrotum, regardless of whether the underwear is in a normal state, erect, or relaxed state, by positioning the attachment position of the penis fixing support device closer to the underwear body than the tip of the glans.

In addition, the present invention provides men's underwear that uses a relatively low friction coefficient of stretchable cloth for the penis fixing member for men with mild phimosis or no phimosis, and that can hold the penis at any angle by using only the penis fixing support device at the tip of the penis and changing the length of the stretchable rubber part, allowing the underwear to be worn without the penis and scrotum being in close contact with each other.

The men's underwear comprises an opening at the bottom of the front of the underwear body for allowing the penis and scrotum to pass from the inside of the underwear to the outside of the underwear when the underwear is worn, and is configured with the underwear body and a fastener for a detachable penis fixing support device, and a penis fixing member, an elastic rubber part, and a fastener that can be attached and detached to the men's underwear.

A male underwear in which a penis fixing support device using a stretchable cloth, a self-adhesive bandage, a self-adhesive stretch bandage, a stretch bandage, or gauze, either alone or in combination, as the penis fixing member is attached to the outer edge of the underwear opening and the edge of the underwear body leg.

By positioning the fastener 4 of the penis fixing support device 3 on the underwear body closer to the underwear body than the tip of the glans, the foreskin can be pulled toward the base of the penis or from behind the scrotum regardless of whether it is normal, erect, or relaxed, thereby avoiding discomfort caused by the foreskin covering the glans. By increasing the number of fasteners 4 and male genital covering cloth fasteners 8 on the underwear body, it becomes possible to adjust the attachment position of the penis fixing support device 3 and the attachment position of the male genital covering cloth 7, and the tension of the elastic rubber 11 and male genital covering cloth can be changed.

By changing the diameter, width, thickness, and shape of the penis fixing member 9, the contact area with the penis and the holding force can be changed, and the effect of suppressing the movement of the foreskin can be adjusted. By changing the length of the elastic rubber part, it is possible to hold the penis at any angle, such as horizontally or upwards.

By changing the material of the penis fixing member 9, the frictional force of the contact surface with the penis can be changed, and the effect of correcting the foreskin can be adjusted. For men with mild phimosis or no phimosis, a stretchable cloth with a relatively low coefficient of friction is used for the penis fixing member, and by using only the penis fixing support device at the tip of the penis, the penis can be held at any angle, and underwear can be worn without the penis and scrotum being in close contact with each other.

When attaching or removing the penis fixing member 9 to the penis, the penis fixing support device 3 is attached to the outer periphery edge 5 of the underwear body opening and the edge 6 of the underwear body leg part, and then the legs are opened or the elastic rubber 11 is pulled in the outer periphery direction from both sides with both hands to create a gap between the penis fixing member 9 and the penis, making it easy to attach and remove the penis fixing member 9 to and from the penis.

When the male genitalia covering cloth 7 is removed from the underwear body, or when only the male genitalia covering cloth 7 and the lower parts of the underwear are fixed, it is possible to secure enough space to easily attach the penis fixing support device 3 to the underwear body and penis using both hands. By locating the attachment part of the male genitalia covering cloth 7 on the outside of the underwear body, it is possible to prevent the uneven locking part from directly touching the skin when worn.

By making the penis fixing support device 3 and the male genital covering cloth 7 replaceable, underwear can be made to fit the size of each individual's penis and scrotum, and even if they become degraded from a durability standpoint due to repeated washing, the underwear body, fastener 4, elastic rubber 11, and removable intermediate rubber 12 can be used for a long time by partially replacing them with new ones.

The following describes an embodiment of the present invention with reference to the drawings to aid in understanding the present invention. Fig. 1 is a side view of a male underwear body according to an embodiment of the present invention when worn, Fig. 2 is an enlarged front view of a male underwear body according to an embodiment of the present invention when worn, and Fig. 3 is a front view of a male underwear body according to an embodiment of the present invention when not worn.

Figures 1 and 2 show an example of using two penis fixing support appliances 3, assuming that the underwear is worn by a man with true phimosis or pseudo-phimosis. As shown in Figure 2, the penis protruding from an oval opening 2 opened at the bottom of the front surface 1 of the underwear body is held in two places by two penis fixing support appliances 3 arranged on the underwear body side from the tip of the glans. The fasteners 4 use sewn-in magnets or snap buttons to fasten the penis fixing support appliance 3 to the underwear body. Since the fasteners 4 on the underwear body and the penis fixing support appliance 3 are expected to be repeatedly put on and taken off, it is necessary to place the fasteners 4 on the underwear side in a location where it is easy to increase strength while ensuring breathability. Considering this, the edge 5 of the outer periphery of the opening and the edge 6 of the leg part of the underwear body are preferable locations for the fasteners 4 of the penis fixing support appliance 3, as shown in Figure 3. By providing two or more fasteners 4 on the underwear side, it is possible to adjust the pulling angle of the penis, and the number of factors that can be adjusted to hold the foreskin down increases.

The penis fixing support appliance 3 at the tip of the penis is fastened to the edge 5 of the outer periphery of the opening, and by pulling the foreskin from the direction of the base of the penis, it prevents the foreskin from moving from the rear end of the glans to the base of the penis. The penis fixing support appliance 3 at the base of the penis is fastened to the edge 6 of the underwear body leg part, and by pulling the foreskin from the rear of the scrotum, it prevents the skin at the base of the penis and the base of the penis from moving toward the glans. In this way, it is possible to avoid discomfort caused by the foreskin covering the glans, regardless of whether it is normal, erect, or relaxed. The front surface 1 of the underwear body, the edge 5 of the outer periphery of the opening, and the edge 6 of the underwear body leg part are preferably made of a material with a low elasticity rate that can resist the force that pulls the penis fixing support appliance 3 toward the glans when the penis is erect. In order to adjust the force that prevents the foreskin from moving, the penis fixing member 9, the elastic rubber 11 of the elastic rubber part, and the removable intermediate rubber 12 are made replaceable.

For men with mild phimosis or no phimosis, a stretchable cloth with a relatively low coefficient of friction is used for the penis fixing member 9, and only the penis fixing support device 3 at the tip of the penis is used. By changing the length of the stretchable rubber 11 and the removable intermediate rubber 12, the penis can be held at any angle, and underwear can be worn without the penis and scrotum being in close contact with each other.

Figure 4 shows an example of an integrated penis fixation support device, and Figure 5 shows an example of a split penis fixation support device. As shown in Figure 4, the penis fixation member 9 can be passed through a through hole 10 to pass the elastic rubber 11, or the penis fixation member 9 and the elastic rubber 11 can be integrated into a penis fixation support device 3. However, if the penis fixation member 9 has a through hole 10, the penis fixation member 9 will be subject to large partial deformation when pulled by the elastic rubber 11 during erection or when worn or removed, and it is assumed that this is not suitable for long-term use. In terms of structure, using a removable intermediate rubber 12 as shown in Figure 5 makes it easier to change the combination or replace the penis fixation member 9 and the elastic rubber 11, and also suppresses deformation of the penis fixation member 9 when worn.

The embodiment of the penis fixing member 9 that directly touches the penis can be replaced to allow freedom to suit each individual, so various possibilities are possible, but the effect of holding the foreskin down can be adjusted by using elastic cloth, self-adhesive bandage, self-adhesive elastic bandage, elastic bandage, or gauze alone or in combination. The fabric is rolled in the short direction to form a ring, or folded into a long plate, which is rolled in the long direction to form a pipe, and fixed in the ring or pipe state by sewing, using adhesive, or self-adhesive.

When the penis fixing support device 3 is attached to the underwear body and worn, the removable intermediate rubber 12 and elastic rubber 11 are connected to the underwear body, which prevents the foreskin from climbing over these elastic rubber parts, so the foreskin does not wrap around the entire penis fixing member 9 even during exercise, sitting with a forward leaning posture, riding a horse or driving a motorcycle. If the penis fixing member 9 comes off the penis, it will be less likely to come off if the outer surface of the penis fixing member 9 is replaced with a material with a high friction coefficient such as a self-adhesive bandage, the diameter is reduced, or the elastic rubber 11 and removable intermediate rubber 12 are replaced with shorter ones.

When changing the diameter of the penis fixing member 9, for example, if you want to reduce the diameter by 1 mm from a pipe with an inner diameter of 20 mm to a pipe with an inner diameter of 19 mm, you need to reduce the length of the fabric in the longitudinal direction by 1π in circumference, or about 3.1 mm, before cutting. The optimal diameter also changes depending on the thickness and elasticity of the fabric. Since the penis is elastic in normal conditions and has an elliptical cross section, it is thought that the shortcut is to measure the normal circumference of the part of the penis that is attached with a bandage or thread, and try several types with diameters that are 2 mm or more smaller as a guide to find the optimal diameter. Although there may be individual differences, a width of 10 mm or more for the penis fixing member 9 when worn is thought to be sufficient to generate friction with the foreskin. In addition, the diameter of the tip of the penis is thought to be smaller than the diameter of the base of the penis.

The elastic rubber 11 in Figures 4 and 5 can be either flat or round rubber as long as the fastener 4 can be attached. If the elastic rubber 11 is elastic, it can follow the erection and relaxation of the penis, so the removable middle rubber 12 can be made of a non-elastic material. The removable middle rubber 12 should be made of a material that can be attached by itself, or it is preferable to attach snap buttons or the like so that the removable middle rubber 12 itself can be removed depending on the purpose of the part.

Even when the erection lasts for a long time, such as when sleeping, the penis fixing member 9 expands in the circumferential direction, and the elastic rubber 11 also stretches to follow and support the fixation. If it bothers you while sleeping, you can either not wear the penis fixing support device 3, or leave it on and remove one or both sides of the fastener 4 that connects it to the underwear body, and the pulling force of the elastic rubber 11 will not be a concern. Even when the erection relaxes, the penis fixing support device 3 will follow the contraction of the penis and maintain fixation. It is desirable for the penis fixing member 9 to have an elasticity rate of 20% or more.

Figure 6 is a front view of an example of a male genital covering cloth according to an embodiment of the present invention with the non-penis-contacting side facing outward, Figure 7 is a front view of a male genital covering cloth attached to a male underwear body according to an embodiment of the present invention, and Figure 8 is a perspective view of the entire male underwear with a male genital covering cloth according to an embodiment of the present invention.

As shown in Figures 7 and 8, the male genitalia cover cloth 7 is fixed to the front surface 1 of the underwear body by the male genitalia cover cloth fastener 8, and as shown in Figures 6 and 7, when the male genitalia cover cloth is attached, the male genitalia cover cloth 7 can cover and hide the entire penis, scrotum, and penis fixing support device 3, so that even if the underwear is exposed to the eyes of others, it does not look much different from existing underwear.

If an opening is provided in the male genitalia cover cloth 7 as shown in Figures 6, 7, and 8, the penis can be easily inserted and removed during urination, and the fastener 8 between the upper part of the underwear body and the male genitalia cover cloth can be temporarily removed. A sewn-in magnet or a snap button is considered to be suitable for the male genitalia cover cloth fastener 8. Even if the penis is fixed slightly upward, it is possible to urinate horizontally or downward by holding the penis and stretching the elastic rubber 11 or by leaning forward, and there is no problem with urination if the fastener 4 of the penis fixing support device that is fastened to the edge 5 of the opening circumference and the tip of the penis as shown in Figures 1, 2, and 3 is temporarily removed during urination. In that case, it is preferable to place the fastener 4 on the edge 5 of the opening circumference within the range that can be reached by fingers from the zipper part of the pants. Also, if the fastener 4 is a sewn-in magnet, it will be easy to attach and remove the underwear body during urination and when sleeping.

Naturally, if the fastener 8 on the male genital cover cloth side is a sewn-in magnet, then the male genital cover cloth fastener 8 on the underwear body must also be sewn-in magnet, so that it matches the body side as well. Furthermore, if the male genital cover cloth fastener 8 is a snap button, increasing the number of snap buttons on the body side will increase the depth by narrowing the attachment interval even with the same male genital cover cloth 7, allowing for more room in the depth direction for the penis and scrotum. Although it depends on the magnetic force of the sewn-in magnet, placing magnets at close intervals can cause the magnets on the underwear body or the magnets on the male genital cover cloth to stick together unintentionally, so it is best to avoid using magnets too often.

The material of the male genitalia cover cloth 7 has a higher degree of freedom than the underwear itself, and by making it interchangeable, it is expected that the underwear will be highly customizable. For example, it is possible to create underwear that suits the individual's preferences, not only by making the color and pattern of the male genitalia cover cloth 7 different from that of the underwear itself, but also by making it a highly breathable mesh material, and by choosing whether or not there is an opening for urination, as shown in Figures 6, 7, and 8, and by using fasteners for right-handed, left-handed, or ambidextrous users to close the opening.

When the inventor made a prototype using commercially available underwear, the penis fixing member 9 was initially made of a two-layer structure, and a compression fixing bandage with a lower stretch rate than the outer periphery but elasticity (stretch rate of about 18%) was cut to a width of 8 mm and used as the core material, wrapped in a self-adhesive bandage with a high stretch rate (stretch rate of about 50%) and a high friction coefficient of 25 mm, and used in a pipe shape of about 10 mm width by self-adhesive alone. The removable intermediate rubber 12 was made of only a self-adhesive bandage and configured as shown in Figure 5, which was effective in holding the penis and suppressing the movement of the foreskin. In addition, in the prototype, even if the wearer went to sleep while wearing it, there was no state of stopping blood flow (blood congestion) during erection. Urination was possible without problems while standing or sitting while wearing it. Even when the penis fixing support device was worn continuously for about three days except when bathing, there was no pain, itching, or swelling in the area where the penis fixing support device was in contact with the skin.

In the next prototype, the penis fixing member 9 was made of commercially available elastic knit tape with a width of 11 mm (approximately 23% elasticity) cut into a circle and sewn at the joint, and the removable intermediate rubber 12 was changed to a non-elastic twill tape with a width of 9 mm, which could be attached and detached with a snap button. The elastic rubber 11 was made of strong 6-cord rubber (approximately 4.5 mm wide, elasticity of 200% or more) for underwear. The results were similar to those of the prototype of the self-adhesive bandage. The difference was that although it was made with the same target diameter, when used by the inventor, the effect of suppressing the foreskin was the same, and since the friction was lower than that of the self-adhesive bandage, it was easier to put on and take off than the one using the self-adhesive bandage on the periphery. However, because a 100% cotton knit tape was used, once the diameter expanded during erection, the diameter did not completely return to the original normal diameter when the erection relaxed, and it remained in a slightly stretched state.

When this underwear is commercialized, the most important points will be the selection of a mass-producible material for the penis fixing member 9 and the structure of the penis fixing support device 3. Evaluation factors include the degree of deterioration with repeated washing and the number of times it can be put on and taken off, and a standard replacement frequency can be set based on these results. In addition, it is necessary to consider the strength of the magnet and the sewing method for the fastener 4 to see if a sewn-on magnet is practically acceptable. Also, in order to make it easy to distinguish the diameter of the penis fixing member 9 and the lengths of the elastic rubber 11 and the removable intermediate rubber 12, it is necessary to consider a method of distinguishing them, such as by marking them with numbers or symbols or by using multiple colors.

In order to achieve the above object, the male underwear of the present invention is a male underwear having an underwear main body for correcting phimosis , comprising an opening at the bottom of the front surface of said underwear main body through which the penis and scrotum are exposed from the inside of the underwear to the outside of the underwear when the underwear is being worn , and a penis fixing support appliance on the outer periphery of said opening , which has a replaceable penis fixing member and is detachable from said underwear main body, said penis fixing support appliance comprising a first penis fixing member that fixes the lower part of the glans of the penis at two points, a second penis fixing member that fixes the base portion of the penis at two points, and a first elastic rubber member that maintains a state in which the penis fixing member is pulled toward the body, a second elastic rubber member that maintains a state in which the second penis fixing member is pulled downward toward the body, a first fastener that is provided on the outer periphery of the opening and fastens the first elastic rubber member at two points, a second fastener that is provided on the edge of the leg part of the underwear body and fastens the second elastic rubber member at two points across the scrotum, and a male genitalia cover cloth member that covers the penis and the entire genitalia and is detachable from the outer front surface of the underwear body.
In addition to the above configuration, the penis fixing support appliance has a first elastic rubber member that is structured to pass through a through hole opened in the first penis fixing member, and a second elastic rubber member that is structured to pass through a through hole opened in the second penis fixing member, and the ends of the first elastic rubber member and the second elastic rubber member are provided with fasteners for attachment to the underwear body.
Furthermore, in addition to the above configuration, the first and second penis fixing members and the first and second elastic rubber members were connected via detachable intermediate rubber members, respectively.

The penis fixation support device 3 , which is an assembly of multiple components, can be made to be replaceable in whole or in part , so that it can be made into underwear to fit the size of each individual's penis and scrotum. Claims (4)

Men's underwear that is provided with an opening at the bottom of the front of the underwear body for allowing the penis and scrotum to pass from the inside of the underwear to the outside of the underwear when the underwear is worn, and is provided with a fastener for a removable penis fixing support device attached to the underwear body. A penis fixing support device comprising a penis fixing member, an elastic rubber part, and a fastener that can be attached and detached to the male underwear described in claim 1. The penis fixation support device according to claim 2, in which the penis fixation member is made of a stretchable cloth, a self-adhesive bandage, a self-adhesive stretch bandage, a stretch bandage, or gauze, either singly or in combination. The male underwear according to claim 1, in which the penis fixing support device has fasteners at two or more locations on the outer periphery of the opening and on the edge of the underwear body leg.
