Abstract

To provide a hand signal glove for work that enables a heavy machine operator and a worker or the like to clearly see whether their hands are open or closed even from a distance when making hand signals between them.
[Solution] This work hand signal glove has a base 2 made of a flexible sheet-like material with a warning color on the front side and a non-warning color on the back side; when the hand is opened, the warning colored front side of the base 2 is visible, and when the hand is closed, the warning colored front side is not visible, making it possible to clearly see whether the hand is open or closed even from a distance.

Description

The present invention relates to a hand signal glove for work that enables smooth communication between heavy equipment operators and workers using hand signals.

Traditionally, heavy equipment operators and workers have communicated using hand signals known as the "gu-pa-gu" gesture, as it has been impossible to talk verbally due to noise and other factors.

However, traditionally hand signs were made with bare hands, which meant that it was difficult to tell from a distance whether one's hands were open or closed.

The present invention was made in consideration of the above-mentioned conventional circumstances, and one of the objects of the present invention is to provide a hand signal glove for work that makes it possible to clearly see whether the hands are open or closed, even from a distance.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a work hand signal glove that allows the hand sign display section to be kept rolled up when not using hand signals, allowing the user to use their hands and fingers normally to perform normal work.

Further objects of the present invention will become apparent from the following description.

The work hand signal glove according to the present invention comprises:
A base portion made of a flexible sheet-like material having a warning color on the front side and a non-warning color on the back side, the base portion being capable of being spread out along the palm of a user's hand;
a ring-shaped finger insertion portion provided on the back side of the base portion, through which a finger can be inserted;
a wrist attachment part made of a flexible sheet-like material, the central part of which is attached to the end part of the base on the wrist side, and which extends outward on both sides of the base;
A thumb insertion hole provided on the wrist attachment portion through which a thumb can be inserted;
A first hook-and-loop fastener provided on a surface side of one end of the wrist attachment portion;
A second hook-and-loop fastener is provided on the back side of the other end of the wrist attachment portion and is engaged with and disengaged from the first hook-and-loop fastener,
When the first hook-and-loop fastener and the second hook-and-loop fastener are engaged with each other, the wrist attachment part can be maintained in a state where it is wrapped around the wrist.

In the present invention, when the middle finger or the like is inserted into the finger insertion portion, the thumb is inserted into the thumb insertion hole of the wrist attachment portion, and the first hook-and-loop fastener and the second hook-and-loop fastener are engaged to wrap the wrist attachment portion around the wrist, the red or other caution color of the base is visible when the hand is open, making it clear that the hand is open and a stop signal is being issued, whereas when the hand is closed, the red or other caution color of the base is basically invisible (a non-caution color such as black is visible), making it clear that an OK signal is being issued.

The present invention will now be described with reference to the embodiments shown in the drawings.

Figures 1 to 8 show one embodiment of a work hand signal glove 1 according to the present invention.

The base 2 of the work hand signal glove 1 is made of a flexible sheet-like material, the front side of which is a warning color such as red and the back side is a non-warning color such as black, and the material is such that it can be spread out along the palm of the user's hand. In the drawings, the parts that are warning colors have a checkered pattern (Figs. 1, 5, etc.), while the parts that are non-warning colors are white (Fig. 2, etc.).

Red is usually the most preferable color for the front side as a warning color, but in some cases orange, yellow, etc. can also be used. It is preferable that the non-warning color for the back side be clearly different from the warning color.

A ring-shaped middle finger insertion section 3, through which the tip of the middle finger can be inserted, is attached to the back side and tip side of the base 2. A ring-shaped index finger, middle finger and ring finger insertion section 4, through which the index finger, middle finger and ring finger can be inserted, is attached to the back side and tip side of the base 2, slightly closer to the user's wrist than the middle finger insertion section 3.

The center of the wrist attachment part 5 made of a flexible sheet-like material is attached to the end of the base part 2 on the wrist side, and this wrist attachment part 5 extends outward on both sides of the base part 2. The base part 2 and the wrist attachment part 5 are fixed to each other only at the lower edge of the wrist attachment part 5 by the stitching part 11, and are not fixed to each other in other parts. A thumb insertion hole 6 through which the thumb can be inserted is provided in a part of the wrist attachment part 5 that does not overlap the base part 2. A first hook-and-loop fastener 7 is attached to the front side of one end of the wrist attachment part 5. A second hook-and-loop fastener 8 is attached to the back side of the other end of the wrist attachment part 5.

A third hook-and-loop fastener 9 is attached to the back side of the base 2 on the side of the index finger, middle finger, and ring finger insertion section 4. A fourth hook-and-loop fastener 10 is attached near the center of the front side of the wrist attachment section 5.

Next, we will explain how to use and how these work hand signal gloves work.

As shown in Figure 4, a worker or an operator of heavy machinery who wishes to use hand signals inserts the index finger, middle finger, and ring finger of the hand into the index finger, middle finger, and ring finger insertion sections 4 of the work hand signal glove 1, inserts the tip of the middle finger into the middle finger insertion section 3, and further inserts the thumb into the thumb insertion hole 6, then engages the first hook-and-loop fastener 7 with the second hook-and-loop fastener 8, and closes the wrist attachment section 5 in a ring shape, thereby wearing the work hand signal glove 1 as shown in Figures 4 to 8.

For example, if a worker wants to tell an operator of heavy machinery or the like to "stop," he or she can open their hand and a warning color (e.g., red) will be visible, as shown in Figure 5, so the operator of the heavy machinery or the like can clearly see the signal even from a distance.

In addition, when the operator of a heavy machine stops the machine and closes his/her hands as shown in Figure 6, the warning color (e.g., red) basically becomes invisible, so the worker can clearly know that the operator has understood.

In this way, these work hand signal gloves make it possible to communicate smoothly using hand signals even from a distance.

When it is desired to use the hands for normal work rather than for hand signs, the base 2 can be rolled into a cylindrical shape with the front side (attention-calling color side) facing inward as shown in Figures 7 and 8, and the second hook-and-loop fastener 9 on the base side can be engaged with the second hook-and-loop fastener 10 on the wrist attachment part side so that the base 2 is maintained in a cylindrical shape with the front side (attention-calling color side) facing inward, allowing the hands to be used for normal work rather than for hand signs.

As described above, the work hand signal gloves of the present invention are useful as work hand signal gloves for clearly expressing hand signals.

A base portion made of a flexible sheet-like material having a warning color on the front side and a non-warning color on the back side, the base portion being capable of being spread out along the palm of a user's hand;
a ring-shaped finger insertion portion provided on the back side of the base portion, through which a finger can be inserted;
a wrist attachment part made of a flexible sheet-like material, the central part of which is attached to the end part of the base on the wrist side, and which extends outward on both sides of the base;
A thumb insertion hole provided on the wrist attachment portion through which a thumb can be inserted;
A first hook-and-loop fastener provided on a surface side of one end of the wrist attachment portion;
A second hook-and-loop fastener is provided on the back side of the other end of the wrist attachment portion and is engaged with and disengaged from the first hook-and-loop fastener,
When the first hook-and-loop fastener and the second hook-and-loop fastener are engaged with each other, the wrist attachment portion can be maintained in a state wrapped around the wrist.
