Abstract

To provide a roulette device that is easy to carry.
[Solution] The roulette device of the present invention comprises a housing and a top cover, and the inside of the housing has a bottom surface, a sloped portion, and a cover portion. The bottom surface has a number of circular holes arranged along the edge of the bottom surface, and the sloped portion has a number of fold lines corresponding to the number of circular holes, and the fold lines form an inclined surface of the sloped portion into a non-curved surface, and the cover portion is arranged on the sloped portion, and the inner edge of the cover portion covers the top end side of the sloped portion, so that the bottom surface, sloped portion, and cover portion form a storage space into which the ball can roll. The top cover fits into the housing to form a box-like structure that is easy to carry.

Description

The present invention relates to a gaming device, in particular a portable roulette device.

The word "roulette" comes from French and means "little wheel", and is a gambling game common in casinos in which a dealer or croupier throws a ball onto a rotating roulette plate, and the number on which the ball lands is the winning number.

At any party, it is common to play simple games that anyone can participate in to promote communication between guests and liven up the atmosphere. Roulette is a popular game that promotes communication between guests, and can be played simply by throwing a ball and spinning the roulette wheel.

However, typical roulette devices are fixed and require a drive motor to spin the roulette, making them non-portable. Furthermore, although some portable roulette devices have been developed, they are relatively large in size due to the need for a drive motor, and are also heavy due to the batteries attached. Therefore, even if they are portable, they are still inconvenient, and storage is also an issue given their size.

Hence, the inventors aim to propose a roulette device to solve the deficiencies of known technology, based on their many years of experience in manufacturing, developing and designing related products, in order to facilitate industrial implementation and utilization.

The main object of the present invention is therefore to propose a roulette device that overcomes the shortcomings of the known art.

To achieve the above-mentioned object, the present invention provides a roulette device including a housing and a top cover. The inside of the housing has a bottom surface, a slope portion, and a cover portion.

The bottom surface has a number of circular holes arranged along the edge of the bottom surface.

The sloped portion is arranged to surround the edge of the bottom surface and has a number of fold lines corresponding to the number of round holes, and the fold lines form the sloped surface of the sloped portion into a non-curved surface.

The cover portion is placed on top of the slope portion, and the inner edge of the cover portion covers the top end side of the slope portion, so that the bottom surface, the slope portion and the cover portion form a storage space into which the ball can roll.

The top cover can be fitted with the housing to form a box-like structure that is easy to carry.

Preferably, the housing and top cover are square.

Preferably, the side length of the top cover is longer than the side length of the housing to facilitate easy mating with the housing.

Preferably, the number of the multiple round holes is an even number, and the number of the multiple fold lines corresponding to the multiple round holes is also an even number, to facilitate the manufacture and assembly of the roulette device.

Preferably, the diameter of the holes is slightly smaller than the diameter of the ball, allowing the user to easily remove the ball after a game is over.

When playing a roulette game, the user throws a ball into the storage space of the roulette device, shakes the housing clockwise or counterclockwise with their hands, and just after the ball rotates along the slope of the slope, they place the roulette device on the table and wait for the ball to slow down due to gravity and friction and move to the bottom. The ball eventually stops and lands in one of the round holes corresponding to the slope blocks, each of which is marked with a pattern or number, and the game players determine the winner according to the pattern or number they bet on.

The roulette device 1 includes a housing 2 and a top cover 3, the inside of which has a bottom surface 4, a slope portion 5, and a cover portion 6.

The bottom surface 4 is disposed on the bottom side of the housing 2 and has a plurality of circular holes 7 arranged along the edge of the bottom surface 4.

The slope section 5 is arranged so as to surround the edge of the bottom surface 4 and has a number of fold lines 8 corresponding to the number of round holes 7, and the fold lines 8 form the slope of the slope section 5 into a non-curved surface. The fold lines 8 divide the slope section 5 into a number of slope blocks, each of which corresponds to the number of round holes 7, and each of the slope blocks is given a pattern (not shown) or a number.

The cover part 6 is placed on the slope part 5, and the inner edge 9 of the cover part 6 covers the top end side of the slope part 5, so that the bottom surface 4, the slope part 5 and the cover part 6 form a storage space 10 into which the ball 11 can roll. When the ball 11 rolls inside the storage space 10, the inner edge 9 of the cover part 6 covers the top end side of the slope part 5, preventing the ball 11 from spilling out of the storage space 10, so it can be rocked as much as you like and can be used safely without any danger.

The top lid 3 fits over the cover portion 6 and fits into the housing 2 to form a box-like structure that is easy to carry.

When playing a roulette game, the user throws the ball 11 into the storage space 10 of the roulette device 1, shakes the housing 2 clockwise or counterclockwise with his/her hand, and just after the ball 11 rolls along the slope of the slope section 5, places the roulette device 1 on the table and waits for the ball 11 to slow down due to gravity and friction and move to the bottom surface 4. The ball 11 eventually stops and lands in one of the round holes 7 corresponding to the slope blocks, each of which is marked with a pattern or number, and the game participants determine the winner according to the pattern or number they bet on.

While the user holds the housing 2 and shakes it to roll the ball 11, the inner edge 9 of the cover portion 6 that covers the top end side of the slop portion 5 can hold the ball 11 within the storage space 10, preventing the ball 11 from spilling out of the storage space 10 due to sudden shaking of the housing 2, resulting in a better gaming experience.

After the game is over, the top lid 3 is placed on top of the cover portion 6 and fitted with the housing 2 to form a box-like structure, making it easy to carry and store.

Preferably, the housing 2 and the top cover 3 are square.

Preferably, the side length of the top cover 3 is longer than the side length of the housing 2 so that it can be easily fitted to the housing 2.

Preferably, the number of the multiple round holes 7 is an even number, and the number of the multiple fold lines 8 corresponding to the multiple round holes 7 is also an even number, to facilitate the manufacture and assembly of the roulette device 1.

Preferably, the diameter of the multiple round holes 7 is slightly smaller than the diameter of the ball 11, allowing the user to easily remove the ball 11 after the game is over.

To summarize the above, the roulette device of the present invention can solve the problems related to the weight of portable roulettes and the inconvenience of carrying and storing them.

The inside of the housing has a bottom surface disposed on the bottom side of the housing, a sloped portion disposed so as to surround the edge of the front bottom surface, and a cover portion disposed on top of the sloped portion. The roulette device of claim 1, wherein the bottom surface has a plurality of circular holes arranged along an edge of the bottom surface. The roulette device according to claim 2, wherein the slope portion has a number of fold lines corresponding to the number of the round holes, and the fold lines form the inclined surface of the slope portion into a non-curved surface. The roulette device of claim 3, wherein the fold lines divide the slope portion into a plurality of slope blocks, and each of the slope blocks corresponds to one of the circular holes. The roulette device according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the inner edge of the cover portion covers the top end side of the slope portion, so that the bottom surface, the slope portion and the cover portion form a storage space into which the ball can roll. The roulette device according to claim 5, wherein the inner edge of the cover portion covers the top end side of the slope portion, thereby holding the ball within the storage space so that it does not escape from the storage space. The roulette device of claim 5, wherein the diameter of the multiple circular holes is slightly smaller than the diameter of the ball. The roulette device of claim 1, wherein the housing and the top cover are square. The roulette device according to claim 1 , wherein a side length of the top cover is longer than a side length of the housing so as to facilitate fitting of the top cover with the housing.
