Description
The present invention relates to an eyeglass frame and a support member, in which a support member is attached to a temple without providing a nose pad on the front part, and the support member can be supported by contacting the temple.
FIG. 6 shows a conventional general eyeglass frame. The glasses frame consists of a front part (A) and two temples (B) and (B). ) is attached so that it can be folded via joints such as hinges (d) and (d). The front part (A) has rims (F) and (F) on both sides of the connecting member (E), and the above-mentioned endpieces (C) and (C) are brazed to the outside of the rims (F) and (F). are doing. Then, nose pads (T) and (T) are attached to the inside (center side) of the rim.
By the way, when you wear glasses on your face, place the nose pads (G) and (T) on both sides of your nose, and also use the resin pads that are inserted into the tips of the temples (B) and (B). Modern (chi), (chi) is locked in the ear. The front part (A) is supported by the nose via the nose pads (G) and (T), but if you wear glasses for a long time, the nose pads (G) and (G) may touch the front part (A). Both sides of her nose turn red and her makeup peels off. Therefore, when the glasses are removed, the makeup comes off and the reddened sides of the nose become noticeable, which is a big problem especially for young women.
In recent years, titanium is often used in eyeglass frames as it is a lightweight material with excellent spring properties, and plastic lenses are also used for lenses, making the front portion extremely light.
They are extremely light compared to old glasses that had glass lenses fitted into frames made of stainless steel. However, it is necessary to support the front part with a nose pad, and therefore it is impossible to avoid the makeup from coming off on both sides of the nose.
In some cases, the material of the nose pad is made of soft silicone resin, but it cannot completely prevent red discoloration and peeling of makeup.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, eyeglass frames are known in which a pad is attached to the inside of the temple, and the front portion is supported by applying the pad to the temple part of the face.
However, even if the pad attached to the inside of the temple is pressed against the temple part, the front part may not be fully supported because it may slide off. If you press the pad too hard on your temples, your temples will become painful and you won't be able to wear your glasses for a long time.
On the other hand, in glasses frames that do not have nose pads on the front part, when the front part descends, the lower edge of the rim or the lower edge of the lens comes into contact with the cheeks of the face, and when the glasses are removed, There is also the problem of leaving marks.
The "glasses frame" disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 2008-20678 is a glasses frame that does not have nose pads that are placed on both sides of the nose to support the front part, and has arms that extend diagonally downward from the temples, and has arms at the tips of the arms. A pad is attached so that the pad hits the cheekbones of the face and supports the front part.
Since the pad has a structure that allows the direction of the pad to be changed, the pad is structured to fit even if the position and shape of the cheekbones are different.
FIG. 7 shows a conventional example in which a pad (ri) is attached to a temple (ro). The board (N) is screwed to the temple (B), the arm (R) is fixed to this board (N), and the above pad (R) is attached to the tip of the arm (R) extending from the board (N). ing.
The pad (ri) is disc-shaped, and the disc-shaped pad (ri) is placed on the cheekbone and presses against the temple part.
The arm (R) is a springy metal wire, and therefore, the pressing force acting on the pad (R) is based on the bending deformation of the arm (R), causing pain in the temple part.
By the way, in conventional eyeglass frames, when the pad (ri) attached to the temple (b) hits the temple part of the face, the temple (b) bends due to the reaction force of the pressing force acting on the pad (ri). The ends of the temples that are attached to the ears are lifted up from the back of the head, which impairs the stability of the temples.
That is, the glasses frame comes to be supported by only a small pad (ri), swings around the pad (ri), and as the front part descends, the temple tip part rises, and the glasses frame becomes bent forward. As a result, the lower edge of the rim or the lower edge of the lens hits the cheek, leaving a mark on the cheek when the glasses are removed.
As described above, glasses frames having a nose pad attached to the front part and glasses frames having a pad attached to the tip of an arm extending from the temple without having a nose pad have the above-mentioned problems.
The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide an eyeglass frame that can be hung stably without the temples shifting their positions and without the tops of the temples floating up, and also in a way that does not spoil the appearance. To provide an eyeglass frame and a support member for the eyeglass frame.
The eyeglass frame according to the present invention does not have a nose pad on the front part, but has a support member attached to the inside of the temple. The support member is attached to the front side of the temple in order to contact the temple part of the face and support the front part.
The support member has an elongated and smoothly curved arc shape, and is deformed so that almost its entire length touches the temple part. The support member is made of a soft resin such as silicone, a core metal is embedded in the shaft portion, and the base portion is fixed to the temple.
The support member is curved in an arc shape, and the base is fixed near the joint and extends curved inward from the base, thereby forming an appropriate space between the support member and the temple.
Therefore, the support member is able to bend and deform outward when it hits the temple. The curved supporting member is substantially horizontal and is located substantially on the same plane as the temple.
In the eyeglass frame according to the present invention, the front portion is supported by the support member attached to the temple hitting the temples of the face. Therefore, unlike conventional eyeglass frames, both sides of the nose do not turn red due to contact with the nose pads, and makeup on both sides of the nose does not come off.
In addition, since the elongated support member is provided with a resin layer such as silicone that is comfortable to the skin around the core metal which has excellent elastic deformation, the glasses can be worn for a long time without causing pain in the temples.
Unlike conventional small pads that are generally disc-shaped, the support member is composed of a curved and elongated member, so almost the entire length of the support member comes into contact with the comic paper, and the vines move vertically around the support member. It does not shake and allows you to wear your glasses stably.
On the other hand, the support member of the present invention is an elongated curved member, but is positioned substantially horizontally and on the same plane as the temple. Therefore, when the glasses are worn, the support member is covered with the temples and is not visible from the outside, which is also favorable in terms of appearance.
