Abstract

The present invention relates to a male incontinence pad for use by men.

Conventionally, various incontinence pads for men have been developed. For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a urine absorbing pad for men. The urine absorbing pad stands up on its own and is equipped with a guide that controls the flow of urine. Further, Patent Document 2 discloses an absorbent article for men. The absorbent article for men includes a liquid return prevention sheet to prevent body fluids that are not absorbed by the absorbent body from returning, and three-dimensional gathers to prevent urine from leaking sideways. As mentioned above, incontinence pads for men have been devised in various ways to suppress urine leakage, but they therefore have complicated structures. The absorbent body 4 is made of, for example, pulp mixed with a super absorbent resin, or pulp mixed with a chemical fiber and a super absorbent polymer. Examples of the pulp include cellulose fibers such as chemical pulps and molten pulps obtained from wood, and artificial cellulose fibers such as rayon and acetate. Further, as the super absorbent polymer, super absorbent polymer granular powder (SAP), super absorbent polymer fiber (SAF), etc. are used. Note that the structure, material, and processing method of the absorber 4 are not limited. The absorber 4 has a substantially rectangular shape in plan view. The lengthwise dimension of the absorbent body 4 is larger than the widthwise dimension. Note that the shape of the absorber 4 in plan view is not limited to a substantially rectangular shape. The absorbent body 4 is included in the front sheet 2 and the back sheet 3 in plan view. The maximum longitudinal dimension L of the absorbent body 4 is 15 cm or less, preferably 10 cm or less. The absorbent body 4 is disposed at the center of the front sheet 2 and the back sheet 3 in the lateral direction and closer to the front side in the longitudinal direction in plan view. That is, the center point C1 of the absorber 4 in plan view is located on the front side in the longitudinal direction from the center point C2 of the front sheet 2 (back sheet 3) in plan view.
