Abstract
Description
Claims (22)
- 無線デバイスを受動的に電力供給するためのシステムであって、
それぞれが、電子回路と、変調器と、アンテナとを含み、
受信された無線周波数(RF)信号から動作電力を抽出し、
前記抽出された電力を用いて動作を実行し、
前記実行された動作に関連付く後方散乱信号を前記アンテナを通じて送信する
よう構成された、複数の無線デバイスと、
共通同期信号を第1の周波数で、通信信号を第2の周波数で送信するよう構成された送信機と、
前記後方散乱信号を第2の周波数で受信するための1つ以上の受信機と
を含み、
前記第1の周波数と前記第2の周波数が異なり、
前記第1の周波数が前記複数の無線デバイスに共通であり、
前記共通同期信号が、1つ以上の後方散乱パラメータを特定する、
システム。 - 前記複数の無線デバイスがモノのインターネット(IoT)デバイスである、
請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記1つ以上の受信機が、現地ハブデバイス、能動的に電力供給されるIoTデバイス、又は基地局を含む、
請求項2に記載のシステム。 - 前記現地ハブデバイスと前記能動的に電力供給されるIoTデバイスが、前記受信された後方散乱信号を基地局へ送信するよう構成された、
請求項3に記載のシステム。 - 前記複数の無線デバイスが、無線ローカルエリアネットワーク(WLAN)周波数帯、又はセルラー周波数帯のうちの1つにおいて前記後方散乱信号を送信するよう構成された、
請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記複数の無線デバイスが、5G準拠プロトコルに従ったセルラー周波数帯において前記後方散乱信号を送信するよう構成された、
請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記1つ以上の後方散乱パラメータが、前記第2の周波数、変調フォーマット、又は変調符号を定義する、
請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記変調符号が、周波数ダイバーシティ方式における周波数、符号分割多元接続(CDMA)変調方式における符号、又は直交周波数分割多重(OFDM)変調方式における符号を含む、
請求項7に記載のシステム。 - 前記送信機が、2つ以上の無線デバイスが時間的にオーバーラップする方式で前記1つ以上の受信機へ後方散乱するとき、前記第2の周波数のための1つ以上の異なる値を割り当てるよう構成された、
請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記送信機、及び前記1つ以上の受信機のうちの少なくとも1つが、単一デバイスの一部である、
請求項1に記載のシステム。 - モノのインターネット(IoT)デバイスであって、
受信された無線周波数(RF)信号から動作電力を抽出するよう構成された電力抽出回路と、
前記抽出された電力を用いて動作を実行する電子回路と、
前記実行された動作に関連付く後方散乱信号を変調するよう構成された変調器と、
前記後方散乱信号を送信するよう構成されたアンテナと
を含み、
前記後方散乱信号のための1つ以上の後方散乱パラメータが、能動的に電力供給される送信機から共通同期信号を通じて第1の周波数で受信され、
前記後方散乱信号が、前記1つ以上の後方散乱パラメータにより定義された第2の周波数で送信され、
前記第1の周波数と前記第2の周波数が異なる、
IoTデバイス。 - 前記第1の周波数と前記第2の周波数のうちの1つ又は両方が、無線ローカルエリアネットワーク(WLAN)周波数帯、又はセルラー周波数帯にある、
請求項11に記載のIoTデバイス。 - 前記第2の周波数が、5Gプロトコルに従ったセルラー周波数帯にある、
請求項11に記載のIoTデバイス。 - 前記1つ以上の後方散乱パラメータが、前記第2の周波数、変調フォーマット、又は変調符号を定義する、
請求項11に記載のIoTデバイス。 - 前記変調符号は、周波数ダイバーシティ方式における周波数、符号分割多元接続(CDMA)変調方式における符号、又は直交周波数分割多重(OFDM)変調方式における符号を含む、
請求項14に記載のIoTデバイス。 - 無線デバイスを受動的に電力供給する方法であって、
受動的に電力供給される無線デバイスで、能動的に電力供給される送信機から無線周波数(RF)共通同期信号を第1の周波数で受信することと、
前記受信されたRF共通同期信号から電力を抽出することと、
前記抽出された電力を用いて動作を実行することと、
前記実行された動作に関連付く後方散乱信号を、1つ以上の能動的に電力供給される受信機により受信される第2の周波数で送信することと
を含み、
前記第1の周波数と前記第2の周波数が異なり、
前記RF共通同期信号が1つ以上の後方散乱パラメータを特定する、
方法。 - 前記無線デバイスがモノのインターネット(IoT)デバイスであり、前記1つ以上の受信機が、現地ハブデバイス、能動的に電力供給されるIoTデバイス、又は基地局を含む、
請求項16に記載の方法。 - 前記実行された動作に関連付く前記後方散乱信号を送信することが、無線ローカルエリアネットワーク(WLAN)周波数帯、又はセルラー周波数帯のうちの1つにおいて前記後方散乱信号を送信することを含む、
請求項16に記載の方法。 - 前記実行された動作に関連付く前記後方散乱信号を送信することが、5G準拠プロトコルに従ってセルラー周波数帯において前記後方散乱信号を送信することを含む、
請求項16に記載の方法。 - 前記実行された動作に関連付く前記後方散乱信号を送信することが、前記第2の周波数、変調フォーマット、又は変調符号を定義する前記1つ以上の後方散乱パラメータに従い後方散乱信号を送信することを含む、
請求項16に記載の方法。 - 前記変調符号が、周波数ダイバーシティ方式における周波数、符号分割多元接続(CDMA)変調方式における符号、又は直交周波数分割多重(OFDM)変調方式における符号を含む、
請求項20に記載の方法。 - 1つ以上の位置での後方散乱信号強度を判定又は予測することと、
前記判定又は前記予測に基づき、特定のIoTデバイスから後方散乱信号を受信するために使用すべき1つ以上の受信機を選択することと
を更に含む、
