Claims (24)
- 複数の電池セルが垂直方向に積層されたセルスタックと、
前記セルスタックを収納する保護ケースとを含み、
前記保護ケースは、前記セルスタックの下に位置する下面カバー、前記セルスタックの上に位置する上面カバー、及び前記セルスタックの側面に位置する一対の側面カバーを含み、
前記側面カバーの内側には、スウェリングの際に噴出するフレア及びスパークの移動を遮断することができる構造が備えられる、電池モジュール。 - 前記側面カバーは、下側端部が前記下面カバーと密着し、上側端部が前記上面カバーと密着するように位置する垂直板、及び前記垂直板の両側端部から所定の形状に折曲及び/または湾曲して互いに対向するように位置する一対の折曲板を含む、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記側面カバーの前記垂直板と前記セルスタックとは、所定の距離で離隔して第3空間部を形成する、請求項2に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記セルスタックは、垂直方向に積層された複数の電池セル、積層された前記電池セルの上部及び下部のうちのいずれか一つ以上に位置する押圧層、前記電池セルの正極リードと負極リードとが連結されるバスバー、及び前記正極リードと前記バスバーとの間、及び前記負極リードと前記バスバーとの間にそれぞれ介在される一対のバスバーホルダーを含む、請求項2または3に記載の電池モジュール。
