プランジャアセンブリ。 - プランジャを更に含み、前記プランジャは、前記スタイレットと結合された、又は前記スタイレットによって画定された、第1のセグメントと、断面サイズが前記第1のセグメントより大きい、第2のセグメントと、を含み、前記第2のセグメントは外側プランジャフランジに連なり、前記支持ボディは、前記第1のセグメントと、前記第2のセグメントの少なくとも一部分と、を密閉し、前記第1のセグメント及び前記第2のセグメントは、前記支持ボディに対して相対的に、長手方向に動くことが可能であり、前記プランジャが第1の位置にあるときには、前記スタイレットは前記第1の位置にあり、前記スタイレットの前記第2のセグメントは、前記スタイレットが前記第2の位置にあるときよりも前記ルアーコネクタに近づいている、請求項1に記載のプランジャアセンブリ。
- 前記スタイレットは、前記支持ボディの外側の長さが6インチから10フィートの範囲にある、請求項1に記載のプランジャアセンブリ。
- 前記スタイレットは、MRI適合材料を含み、最大外径が約0.005~0.020インチの範囲にある、請求項1に記載のプランジャアセンブリ。
- 前記スタイレットはニチノールを含む、請求項4に記載のプランジャアセンブリ。
- 前記スタイレットは溶融石英を含む、請求項4に記載のプランジャアセンブリ。
- 駆動ねじを更に含み、前記駆動ねじは、少なくとも一部が前記支持ボディ内にあり、前記スタイレットの前記近位端と結合されている、請求項1に記載のプランジャアセンブリ。
- カラーを更に含み、前記カラーは前記支持ボディ及び前記駆動ねじと結合され、前記カラーは、前記スタイレットを平行移動させる為に、時計回り方向及び反時計回り方向に回転可能である、請求項7に記載のプランジャアセンブリ。
- 支持チューブを更に含み、前記支持チューブは、前記支持ボディの内側にあり、前記シールより上方で前記ルアーコネクタと結合されており、前記スタイレットは、前記支持チューブの内側で後退及び延伸する為に前記支持チューブに摺動可能に結合されており、一方、前記支持ボディは、前記スタイレットと連動して、前記支持チューブの外壁の周囲を摺動可能に後退及び延伸する、請求項2に記載のプランジャアセンブリ。
- ルアーコネクタを有する近位端を含み、長手方向反対側の遠位端を有し、前記遠位端を通り抜けて延びる開放チャネルを有するカニューレアセンブリと、
前記カニューレアセンブリと結合されたプランジャアセンブリであって、前記プランジャアセンブリはスタイレットを含み、前記スタイレットは、前記カニューレアセンブリの前記開放チャネル内を延びて、前記スタイレットの遠位端を前記カニューレアセンブリの前記遠位端の近傍に位置決めし、前記開放チャネルと前記スタイレットは連係して流体チャネルを画定し、前記流体チャネルは、前記カニューレアセンブリの前記遠位端から延び、任意選択で長さが約1~30cmの範囲にある、前記プランジャアセンブリと、
を含む体内流体移送システム。 - 前記スタイレットが、流体取り入れ準備完了位置又は注射完了位置に対応する第1の位置にあるときに、前記スタイレットの前記遠位端は前記カニューレアセンブリの前記遠位端と面一まで、又は前記カニューレアセンブリの前記遠位端の外まで延びる、請求項10に記載の体内流体移送システム。
- 患者にディスペンスされる流体が、前記流体チャネル内の、前記カニューレアセンブリの前記遠位端と前記カニューレアセンブリの中間部分との間の場所に保持される、請求項10に記載の体内流体移送システム。
- 前記プランジャアセンブリは更に、前記スタイレットの近傍にある内部シールを含むルアーコネクタであって、前記プランジャアセンブリの前記ルアーコネクタは前記カニューレアセンブリの前記ルアーコネクタに取り付けられる、前記ルアーコネクタと、
前記プランジャアセンブリの前記ルアーコネクタと結合されて、前記スタイレットの前記遠位端より上方まで延びる支持ボディと、
を含む、
請求項6に記載の体内流体移送システム。 - プランジャを更に含み、前記プランジャは、前記スタイレットと結合された、又は前記スタイレットによって画定された、第1のセグメントと、断面サイズが前記第1のセグメントより大きい、第2のセグメントと、を含み、前記第2のセグメントは外側プランジャフランジに連なり、前記支持ボディは、前記第1のセグメントと、前記第2のセグメントの少なくとも一部分と、を密閉し、前記第1のセグメント及び前記第2のセグメントは、前記支持ボディに対して相対的に、長手方向に動くことが可能であり、前記プランジャが第1の位置にあるときには、第2の位置にあるときよりも、前記第2のセグメントは前記ルアーコネクタに近づいている、請求項13に記載の体内流体移送システム。
- 駆動ねじを更に含み、前記駆動ねじは、少なくとも一部が前記支持ボディ内にあり、前記スタイレットの前記近位端と結合されている、請求項14に記載の体内流体移送アセンブリ。
- カラーを更に含み、前記カラーは前記支持ボディ及び前記駆動ねじと結合され、前記カラーは、前記スタイレットを平行移動させる為に、時計回り方向及び反時計回り方向に回転可能である、請求項15に記載の体内流体移送アセンブリ。
- 支持チューブを更に含み、前記支持チューブは、前記支持ボディの内側にあり、前記シールより上方で前記ルアーコネクタと結合されており、前記スタイレットは、前記支持チューブの内側で後退及び延伸する為に前記支持チューブに摺動可能に結合されており、一方、前記支持ボディは、前記スタイレットと連動して、前記支持チューブの外壁の周囲を摺動可能に後退及び延伸する、請求項13に記載の体内流体移送アセンブリ。
- 前記スタイレットは、前記支持ボディの外側の長さが6インチから10フィートの範囲にある、請求項13に記載の体内流体移送システム。
- 前記スタイレットは、MRI適合材料を含み、最大外径が約0.005~0.020インチの範囲にある、請求項13に記載の体内流体移送システム。
- 前記スタイレットはニチノールを含む、請求項13に記載の体内流体移送システム。

- 対象内へ又は対象から流体を移送する方法であって、
ルアーコネクタをその近位端に有し、長手方向の反対側に遠位端を有するカニューレアセンブリを用意するステップと、
前記カニューレアセンブリと結合可能な又は結合されたプランジャアセンブリを用意するステップであって、前記プランジャアセンブリは、前記近位端から、前記カニューレアセンブリの前記遠位端に近接する位置又は前記遠位端と面一の位置又は前記遠位端より遠くの位置まで延びるスタイレットを含む、前記プランジャアセンブリを用意する前記ステップと、
前記スタイレットを前記カニューレアセンブリの前記遠位端から後退させることによって真空を発生させるステップと、
前記スタイレット及び前記カニューレアセンブリによって発生した前記真空に対する応答として、前記カニューレアセンブリの前記遠位端内に標的流体を取り入れるステップと、
を含む方法。 - 前記プランジャアセンブリが結合されていて、前記流体を保持している前記カニューレアセンブリを、手術ナビゲーションシステムの軌道ガイド内に配置することによって、前記プランジャアセンブリの近位端部分が前記軌道ガイドより上方にあり、前記カニューレアセンブリ及び前記スタイレットの前記遠位端が患者の体内にあって前記流体を前記患者内へ移送するステップを更に含む、請求項22に記載の方法。
- 前記流体は幹細胞を含む、請求項22に記載の方法。
- 前記移送するステップに備えて前記流体を脳内標的部位に送達するステップを更に含む、請求項24に記載の方法。
