実施例1と参考例2のシートマスクをアルミニウム包装袋に密封し、60℃で3週間保存した後、包装袋を開封し、粘着剤層の色の変化について目視により観察した。
実施例1では、僅かに緑褐色の着色が見られた。一方、参考例2では、保存前の粘着剤層の色と同じで、褪色や変色は見られなかった。

(II)前記分光側色計にて、1週間毎に開封した各シートマスクのL*値、a*値およびb*値を求めた。
(III)次式:
ΔE*ab={(L*-L0*)2+(a*-a0*)2+(b*-b0*)2}1/2
により、製造直後との色差(ΔE)を算出した。

実施例1および実施例2は、僅かに緑褐色であった。実施例3は、色の変化がほぼ視認できなかった。実施例1~3のいずれも色差ΔEは5以下であり、製品として着色の問題は生じないと評価することでき、保存安定性に優れていることが示された。

Nichiban Rolling Ball法(「接着便覧」第14版、高分子刊行会発行、1985年)により測定した。すなわち、サインカーブからなる傾斜台下の水平な底部に剥離ライナー層を除去したシートマスクの粘着剤層が上面となるように配置し、傾斜台の傾斜面に20号鋼球(直径20/32インチ)を転がして粘着剤層上でボールが停止した距離を測定し、これをボール停止距離とした。なお、ボール停止距離(mm)が短いシートマスクは、付着性に優れたものと認められる。
結果を表2に示す。

Note that sheet masks with short ball stopping distances (mm) are recognized to have excellent adhesion.
The results are shown in Table 2.

実施例2のシートマスクは、60℃4週間の試験を経ても粘着力も比較的低下することがないので、高い保存安定性を有することが示された。
