上記のように調製した毛髪サンプルを用いて、以下の指標について評価した。

(1)トリートメント効果
動摩擦係数を測定することにより毛髪のなめらかさを評価した。毛髪の動摩擦係数は、摩擦感テスター(KES-SE型、カトーテック株式会社製)を使用し、摩擦子としてシリコンシートを取り付け、荷重50g、移動スピード1mm/secの条件で動摩擦係数(MIU値)の測定を行い、20本の毛束の平均値を求めた。尚、動摩擦係数が低いほど、なめらかであることを示すものであり、評価基準は以下の通りである。
○:良好 動摩擦係数が0.3以下である
△:やや悪い 動摩擦係数が0.3~0.45である
×:悪い 動摩擦係数が0.45以上である
(1) Treatment Effect Smoothness of hair was evaluated by measuring dynamic friction coefficient. (2)スタイリング効果
特開2021-78867記載の毛髪状態の評価方法を用いて塗布直後の浮き毛が占める割合(FAF率)、つまりまとまり感を評価した。FAF率は低いほど、浮き毛がなくまとまりが良いことを示すものである。尚、評価基準は以下の通りである。
○:良好 FAF率が30~35%である
△:やや悪い FAF率が35~40%である
×:悪い FAF率が40%以上である

(3)再整髪効果
特開2021-78867記載の毛髪状態の評価方法を用いて塗布直後の毛束の面積値、及び、持上部14が動作させ、乱れた状態を作った上で、手櫛で整髪した後の毛束の面積値をそれぞれ測定した。さらに塗布直後と整髪後での面積値の変化率を算出した。尚、面積値の変化率が小さいほど、塗布直後の毛髪状態を再整髪後にも得られており、再整髪効果があることを示すものであり、評価基準は以下の通りである。
○:良好 変化率が105%以下である
△:やや悪い 変化率が105~125%である
×:悪い 変化率が125%以上である
