記憶部に前記カード種ごとに格納された画像処理用データのうち前記第１ステップで入力された前記カード種に対応する当該画像処理用データを用いて、前記対象トレーディングカードを光学的に読み取って得られたカード画像から特定の図柄を含んだ特徴画像を抽出し、当該抽出された特徴画像に基づいて前記対象トレーディングカードの属する前記シリーズを特定する第２ステップと、
前記対象トレーディングカードの前記カード画像から特徴量を抽出し、当該抽出された特徴量と、特徴量データベースに含まれるデータのうち前記第２ステップで特定される前記シリーズに対応する当該データとを照合することにより、前記対象トレーディングカードの内容を特定する第３ステップと、
前記第３ステップで特定された前記対象トレーディングカードの内容を表示装置に表示させる第４ステップと、

入力部を用いてユーザにより行われる指示入力に基づいて、査定すべき対象トレーディングカードの属する１つの特定のカード種の入力を受け付ける第１ステップと、
記憶部に前記カード種ごとに格納された画像処理用データのうち前記第１ステップで入力された前記カード種に対応する当該画像処理用データを用いて、前記対象トレーディングカードを光学的に読み取って得られたカード画像から特定の図柄を含んだ特徴画像を抽出し、当該抽出された特徴画像に基づいて前記対象トレーディングカードの属する前記シリーズを特定する第２ステップと、
前記対象トレーディングカードの前記カード画像から特徴量を抽出し、当該抽出された特徴量と、特徴量データベースに含まれるデータのうち前記第２ステップで特定される前記シリーズに対応する当該データとを照合することにより、前記対象トレーディングカードの内容を特定する第３ステップと、
前記第３ステップで特定された前記対象トレーディングカードの内容を表示装置に表示させる第４ステップと、
