Description

TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a protective tube that covers and protects a linear body such as a cable.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, cables laid or buried under the sea have been used as island-to-island communication or power transmission lines. Such cables are generally protected by protective tubes to prevent damage caused by contact with rocky reefs, etc. caused by being washed away by ocean currents or waves, or contact with the bottom of ships going back and forth or anchors lowered from ships. covered and protected by

Such a protective tube is, for example, formed in a cylindrical shape by arranging a pair of half-split tubes facing each other. In order to attach the protective tube to the cable, a pair of half pipes are arranged so as to cover the side circumference of the cable from one side and the other side, and these half pipes are fixed to each other with bolts (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2007-209107

However, with the protective tube as described above, it takes a lot of time and effort to fix the pair of half-split tubes with bolts, and it cannot be said that workability is good. For example, in an environment with low seawater transparency, such as a muddy or sludge-rich seabed, underwater workers may be forced to work by groping, which may make it difficult to screw in bolts.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to solve the above problems and to provide a protective tube which can be easily attached to a linear body such as a cable and which has good workability.

A protective tube according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 9. FIG. As shown in FIG. 1, the protective tube 1 is generally cylindrical as a whole, and is composed of a pair of half-split tubes 2, 2 split along a plane including the cylindrical axis. The half-split tubular bodies 2, 2 have the same shape, and are arranged so that their concave surfaces 20 face each other to cover the side circumference of a linear body such as a cable C from two directions. The pair of half tubular bodies 2, 2 are in contact with each other at the end faces (arranged end portions 21, 22) forming both ends of the concave surface 20, respectively. The linear body is one cable C with a circular cross section in the example of the figure, but for example, a plurality of cables, a cable with an elliptical or flat cross section, or a water pipe or gas pipe may be

Each half-split tube 2 has a straight tube portion 3 formed in a semi-cylindrical shape along the side circumference of the cable C, and one end (hereinafter referred to as a rear end) of the straight tube portion 3 in the cylindrical axial direction. and a connecting portion 5 provided at the other end (hereinafter referred to as the front end) of the straight tube portion 3 in the cylindrical axial direction. The bulging portion 4 has a structure with a larger diameter than the straight pipe portion 3, and is configured by a flange in the illustrated example. The connecting portion 5 is formed in a bag shape, for example, a semi-cylindrical or hemispherical shape having a diameter larger than that of the straight tube portion 3, and is connected to the bulging portion 4 of the other protective tube 1 as described later.

Moreover, each of the half-split tubular bodies 2 has an engaging portion 6 which is provided on the outer periphery of the connecting portion 5 and engages the pair of half-split tubular bodies 2, 2 with each other. The engaging portion 6 includes a protruding piece 61 provided at one end 21 of the half-split tubular body 2 in the vicinity of the connecting portion 5 and a recess in which the protruding piece 61 is fitted at the other end 22. a portion 62; The projecting piece 61 is formed in a piece-like shape projecting in the opposite direction D toward the half-split tubular body 2 to be paired. The recessed portion 62 is formed by being sandwiched between a front receiving portion 63 provided in front of the recessed portion 62 and a rear receiving portion 64 provided behind the recessed portion 62 .

The half-tubes 2, 2 also have bolt fixing portions 7 for fastening the half-tubes 2, 2 to each other with bolts (not shown). The bolt fixing portions 7 are provided at the end portions of the straight pipe portions 3 adjacent to the rear ends of the connecting portions 5, respectively, and extend from the outer circumference of the straight pipe portion 3 in both the axial direction of the straight pipe portion 3 and the facing direction D. It is formed in a piece-like shape extending along a direction orthogonal to the The bolt fixing portion 7 has a bolt hole 71 for inserting a bolt along the opposing direction D. As shown in FIG.

As shown in FIG. 2(a), the projecting piece 61 is bent forward with a predetermined curvature toward its tip 61a. Abutting portions 61 b and 61 c of the protruding piece 61 that abut on the recessed portion 62 are formed in an arc shape, and the center O of the arc is located forward of the front end of the half tubular body 2 . Further, as shown in FIG. 2(b), the contact portions 62a and 62b of the recessed portion 62 that come into contact with the protruding piece 61 are bent with the same curvature as the protruding piece 61, and form an arc around the circle center O. formed.

The rear receiving portion 64 has a leg piece 65 projecting in the opposing direction D. As shown in FIG. The protrusion height of the leg piece 65 in the opposing direction D is lower than the protrusion height of the protrusion piece 61 in the opposing direction D. As shown in FIG. In FIG. 2(a), the leg piece 65 at the back of the page is hatched with a dot pattern, and in FIG. 2(b), the protruding piece 61 at the back of the page is hatched.

As shown in FIG. 3, the connecting portion 5 includes an enlarged diameter portion 51 having an inner diameter R2 larger than the outer diameter R1 of the enlarged portion 4, and an enlarged diameter portion 51 provided at the front end of the enlarged diameter portion 51. and a reduced diameter portion 52 that is reduced in diameter to have an inner diameter R3 that is smaller than the outer diameter R1 of the. As a result, as shown in FIG. 4, when a plurality of protective tubes 1 are arranged such that the enlarged diameter portion 51 of one protective tube 1a includes the bulging portion 4 of the adjacent protective tube 1b in front, the bulging Movement of the portion 4 in the front-rear direction is restricted by the reduced-diameter portion 52 and the straight pipe portion 3, and the protection tubes 1b are not displaced in the front-rear direction with respect to the protection tube 1a. can be concatenated.

At this time, as shown in FIG. 5(a), the half tube 2a on one side of the cable C (the upper side in the example of the figure) in the one protection tube 1a is moved to the other side of the cable C (the lower side in the example of the figure). In order to engage the half-split tube 2b on the side), first, the half-split tube so that the expanded diameter portion 51 of the half-split tube 2b includes the bulging portion 4 of the protective tube 1b adjacent to the front. Place the body 2b. Then, the tip 61a of the protruding piece 61 of the half pipe 2a is fitted into the recess 62 of the half pipe 2b, and the half pipes 2a and 2b are connected to the respective straight pipe portions with the circle center O as the rotation center. 3 are rotated so that they approach each other. As a result, the contact portions 61b and 61c of the projecting piece 61 and the contact portions 62a and 62b of the recessed portion 62 are formed with the same curvature, so that the projecting piece 61 is recessed as shown in FIG. It fits into the portion 62 and the half tubular bodies 2a, 2b are engaged with each other.

Here, in the protective tube 1 , the circle center O is located forward of the front end of the half tube body 2 . Therefore, as shown in FIG. 6( a ), even if the cable C is curved, the half-split tube body 2 a is within a range where the diameter-reduced portion 52 of the protection tube 1 a does not interfere with the straight tube portion 3 of the protection tube 1 b. The tip 61a of the protruding piece 61 can be fitted into the recess 62 of the half tube body 2b. As a result, as shown in FIG. 6(b), even when the protective tube 1b is slanted with respect to the protective tube 1a, the protruding piece 61 engages with the recessed portion 62, so that even the curved cable C can be , 1b.

Here, a comparative example to be compared with the protective tube 1 of this embodiment (example) will be described. In FIGS. 7A and 7B, the shape of the example is indicated by solid lines, while the shape of the comparative example is indicated by dashed lines. In the comparative example (broken line), the arc shapes of the contact portions 61b' and 61c' of the protruding piece 61' and the contact portions 62a' and 62b' of the recessed portion 62' were bent more forward than in the example (solid line). It has a shape. As a result, the radius of rotation of the half tubular body 2 becomes smaller, and the circle center P of the comparative example is positioned rearward (see FIGS. 2A and 2B) compared to the circle center O of the example (see FIGS. The example circle center P is located at the front end of the half tube 2). In FIGS. 7A and 7B, the leg piece 65 (example) located at the back of the page and the protruding piece 61' (comparative example) located at the back of the page are indicated by hatching with a dot pattern. ing.

When the curved cable C is covered using the half-split tube 2' according to the comparative example, as shown in FIG. ' is rotated so that the straight pipe portions 3 approach each other, the diameter-reduced portion 52 of the protection tube 1a' interferes with the straight pipe portion 3 of the protection tube 1b'. Therefore, in practice, as shown in FIG. 8(b), the half-split tubular bodies 2a' and 2b' are separated by interference between the diameter-reduced portion 52 of the protective tube 1a' and the straight tube portion 3 of the protective tube 1b'. In such a state, the tip 61a' of the projecting piece 61' of the half tubular body 2a' hits the front receiving portion 63' of the half tubular body 2b'. Therefore, it is not possible to engage the half tubular bodies 2a, 2b' with each other. That is, as in the embodiment shown in FIG. 6(a), the center O of the circle is located forward of the front end of the half tube body 2, so even if the cable C is curved, halves 2a and 2b can be engaged.

As shown in FIG. 9( a ), the plurality of half-split tubular bodies 2 are stacked and stored in multiple stages in the same direction with the respective straight tubular portions 3 overlapping each other. At this time, as shown in FIG. 9(b), the tip 61a of the projecting piece 61 of the upper half tube 2a is the base of the projecting piece 61 of the lower half tube 2b adjacent to the half tube 2a. It is placed on the end 61d. Further, as shown in FIG. 9(c), the distal end 65a of the leg piece 65 of the half tubular body 2a is placed on the proximal end 64a of the rear receiving portion 64 of the half tubular body 2b. Thereby, as shown in FIG. 9(d), a plurality of half-split tubular bodies 2 can be stably stacked and stored in a space-saving manner.

According to the protection tube 1 constructed as described above, the pair of half-split pipes 2, 2 can be engaged with each other by a simple turning operation. Compared to the case of engaging each other, easy attachment to the cable C is possible and workability can be improved. The pair of half pipe bodies 2, 2 are engaged with each other with sufficient strength by fitting the protruding pieces 61 into the recessed portions 62. A nut may be screwed into the two, and the half pipe bodies 2, 2 may be engaged more securely by tightening the bolt and nut. In addition, since the engaging portion 6 is provided on the outer periphery of the connecting portion 5 and can be visually recognized from the outside, compared to the case where the engaging portion 6 is provided on the inner peripheral side of the connecting portion 5, the protruding piece The work of fitting 61 into the recessed portion 62 is easy.

Further, when a pair of half-split tubes have different shapes, it is necessary to check the shape of each half-split tube before they are engaged with each other. Since the bodies 2 and 2 have the same shape as each other, such confirmation of the shape is not necessary, and workability is good. Furthermore, for example, when the half-split tubular body 2 is manufactured by casting, it is only necessary to prepare one mold, so that cost reduction can be achieved.

Next, a protective tube according to a modification of the above embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS. 10 to 12. FIG. As shown in FIG. 10, the protection tube 10 is obtained by improving the structure of the engaging portion 6 based on the protection tube 1 described above.

As shown in FIG. 11( a ), in this modified example, a base end 61 d of the protruding piece 61 is provided with a concave portion 61 e that holds the tip end 61 a of the protruding piece 61 of the other half-split tubular body 2 . Further, as shown in FIG. 11(b), the height of the leg 65 projecting in the facing direction D is equal to the height of the projecting piece 61 projecting in the facing direction D. As shown in FIG. In FIG. 11(a), the leg piece 65 located at the back of the page is hatched with a dot pattern, and in FIG. 11(b), the projecting piece 61 located at the back of the page is hatched.

As shown in FIGS. 12(a) to 12(d), according to the half pipe body 2 configured as described above, when a plurality of half pipe bodies 2 are stacked in multiple stages, the upper half pipe The tip 61a of the protruding piece 61 of the body 2a is held in the concave portion 61e of the protruding piece 61 of the lower half-split tube 2b adjacent to the half-split tube 2a (see FIG. 12(b)). This makes it difficult for the half tubular body 2a to be displaced in the front-rear direction with respect to the half tubular body 2b.

In addition, since the protrusion height of the leg piece 65 and the protrusion height of the protrusion piece 61 in the opposing direction D are equal, when the plurality of half-split tubular bodies 2 stacked in multiple stages are placed on the horizontal ground G, they are split in half. The tubular bodies 2 do not tilt, and the half-split tubular bodies 2 can be stably stacked (see FIG. 12(d)). In addition, the arrangement end portions 21 and 22 of the concave surface 20 of the upper half pipe body 2 are placed on the bulging portion 4 of the lower half pipe body 2, so that the rear end side of the half pipe body 2 is height is set. On the other hand, the height of the front end side of the half tube body 2 is set by the height of the projecting piece 61 and the leg piece 65 . The height of the rear end side and the height of the front end side of the half tubular body 2 are substantially equal. As a result, when the half pipe bodies 2 are stacked in multiple stages, the straight pipe portion 3 is kept horizontal (see FIG. 12(b)).

It should be noted that the protective tube according to the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment and modifications thereof, and various modifications are possible. For example, the engaging portion 6 of the present embodiment is provided on the outer periphery of the connecting portion 5 on the front end side of the half-split tubular body 2, but some engaging portion or the like is also provided on the rear end bulging portion 4 side. A locking mechanism may be provided. Also, the positional relationship between the protruding piece 61 and the recessed portion 62 may be reversed from that shown in the drawings. Further, the bulging portion 4 is not limited to a flange, and may be formed in a semi-cylindrical shape or a hemispherical shape like the connecting portion 5, for example.
