これにより、下ロック部材30にて第1扉の下枠11a、第2扉の下枠12a及び下桟13の3点で相互にロックされることになる。
このようにすると、従来は両側の扉と下桟との間に危険な隙間が発生する恐れがあったが、これを抑えることができる。
この状態を図9にて説明すると、例えば愛玩動物が侵入規制柵の扉に力を加えると、図9(a)の状態から図9(b)に示すような状態になる。
例えば第2扉に力を加えると、第2扉の下枠12aの後面が下ロック部材の後側ロック片32に当接し、前側ロック片31に下桟13の前面が当接する。
第1扉に力が加わると、上記と逆になるがいずれにしても3点でロックされるので、従来のような危険な隙間が生じにくい。
次に、下ロック部材30のロック解除状態を図8(a)、(b)に基づいて説明する。
下ロック部材30を第1扉の基部側に向けて回動する。
すると、下桟13に位置していた下桟規制片31b、32bの間に第1扉の縦枠11cが納まり、第2扉の下枠12aに位置していた下枠規制片31c、32cの間に第1扉の下枠11aが納まる。
このロック解除状態は連結部33が第1扉の縦枠11cの側面に当接することで維持される。
このようにロック解除状態では、下ロック部材30が第1扉側に収納されるので、通行の妨げにならない。
また、下ロック部材30が図6(c)に示すような前側ロック片31のみで構成され、第1扉の下枠11aの前面に取り付けてある場合には、上記のように扉に荷重が加わると、上ロック部材で両扉の上端が係止しているので、前側ロック片31がそれぞれ下桟13前面、第2扉の下枠12a前面に当接する。
