Abstract
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to an optical fiber-type component having excellent stability, which has an optical fiber as a main component of its basic structure and is capable of controlling the shape of an emitted beam, and a method of manufacturing the same.
As a method for controlling the shape of a beam emitted from a light source (also referred to as a "light emission beam"), individual optical components such as a plurality of aspherical lenses and spherical lenses (herein referred to as "bulk type optical components") are used. Methods are known for combinatorial control of the shape of the light output beam.
For example, Non-Patent Document 1 discloses a technique for converting the beam diameter of a beam emitted from a laser by combining aspherical lenses. This technique converts the beam diameter and beam shape by passing laser light through a diffraction optical grating.
Further, in Patent Document 1, a grating is formed on the end face of an optical fiber embedded in a substrate, and the end face is made flat to radiate diffracted light or reflected light. and condensing the reflected light to reduce the spot size.
In the beam shape conversion method using components described in Non-Patent Document 1, an optical system is assembled using bulk optical components. Therefore, there are drawbacks such as a complicated structure that cannot be made compact, and an optical system that is vulnerable to vibrations such as axial misalignment and cannot be installed at a free location.
Further, the techniques described in
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and its object is to provide an optical fiber type sensor having excellent stability and capable of controlling the shape of the emitted beam, using an optical fiber as a main element of the basic configuration. to provide parts.
