Abstract
Description

- 原子炉を動作させる方法であって、
複数の回路を含む請求項1から10のいずれか一項に定義された原子炉を提供するステップと、
親および/または核分裂性物質を含有する複数の核燃料を提供するステップと、
前記複数の核燃料を前記複数の回路に提供するステップと、
前記回路の前記チャネル内における前記核燃料を臨界構成にするステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 請求項1から5のいずれか一項に定義された原子炉回路のチャネルを、別の原子炉のコアの近くに、前記回路の前記チャネルが他の炉の中性子束に曝露されるように配置することによって、原子炉回路を動作させる方法。
- 請求項1から10のいずれか一項に定義された原子炉回路を提供するステップと、
親および/または核分裂性物質を含有する核燃料を提供するステップと、
前記核燃料を前記回路に提供するステップと、
任意選択で、前記回路内において前記核燃料を循環させるステップと、
前記回路の臨界ゾーンにおける前記核燃料を他の炉の中性子束にさらし、
i.前記回路(の構成要素)、
ii.液体、
iii.材料サンプルの挙動、
iv.核燃料および/または
v.前記回路の性能、
のパラメータの1つまたは複数を監視および/またはモデル化するステップと、

前記臨界ゾーンにおける増殖燃焼モードで前記回路の一部を動作させるステップであって、前記核分裂反応からの過剰な中性子が、232Thから233U、または238Uから239Pu、好ましくは232Thから233Uのように、親物質から核分裂可能物質を生成し、生成された前記核分裂可能物質の少なくとも一部を分裂させることが可能になる、ステップと、
前記回路の1つまたは複数において増殖と燃焼との間の平衡を確立するステップと、
他の炉の回路の1つまたは複数における液体を交換し、これによって他の回路を燃焼から増殖モードへ変更するステップと、
前記回路が平衡を達成することを可能にし、これによって閉鎖増殖燃焼核燃料サイクルで動作する炉システムを提供するステップと、

- 前記原子炉回路は、複数の原子炉回路を含む原子炉構成に配置され、原子炉回路の1つから、交換可能な接続チャネル、チャネル格納容器および液体タンクが、前記炉の前記シェル領域またはコア領域から除去および/または交換される、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記除去または交換は、交換可能な接続チャネル、チャネル格納容器および/または液体タンクの実質的な鉛直移動によって実行される、請求項15または16に記載の方法。
