Claims (25)
- 再生可能エネルギー源から取得したエネルギーを有用エネルギーに変換する浮体式エネルギー変換装置であって、
風力エネルギー変換装置と、
前記風力エネルギー変換装置を、表面及び海底を有する水域内で支持するように配置された浮体式プラットフォームと、
前記風力エネルギー変換装置と前記浮体式プラットフォームとの間に配置される連結部材と、
を備え、
前記浮体式プラットフォームは、前記浮体式プラットフォームが前記水域の中に沈む使用時構成を含み、前記使用時構成において、前記連結部材は、前記風力エネルギー変換装置が前記水域より実質的に上方に位置するように前記水域の前記表面を通って突出し、
前記装置は、前記浮体式プラットフォームと通信する波エネルギー変換装置をさらに含み、前記波エネルギー変換装置は、前記水域からの波エネルギーを前記有用エネルギーに変換するように構成される、浮体式エネルギー変換装置。 - 前記装置は、サービス時構成をさらに含み、前記サービス時構成において、前記浮体式プラットフォームは、実質的に前記水域の前記表面上にあり、前記装置の全てのサービス可能な要素は、前記水域より上方にあり、前記装置は、係留手段に結合される、請求項1に記載の浮体式エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記サービス時構成において、前記風力エネルギー変換装置は、風力エネルギーを前記有用エネルギーに変換するように構成される、請求項2に記載の浮体式エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記装置は、輸送構成をさらに含み、前記輸送構成において、前記浮体式プラットフォームは、実質的に前記水域の前記表面上にあり、前記装置は、係留手段に結合されず、さらに、前記装置は、前記水域の前記表面上に安定して自由に浮くことができる、請求項1、2又は3に記載の浮体式エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記波エネルギー変換装置は、波エネルギー変換部に結合された波エネルギー捕捉部を含み、前記装置は、暴風時構成をさらに含み、前記暴風時構成において、前記波エネルギー捕捉部は、前記浮体式プラットフォームに、その中に、又はそれに近接して配置される、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の浮体式エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記波エネルギー変換装置は、前記波エネルギー変換装置が最適なエネルギー変換をもたらす作動深さを含み、さらに、前記使用時構成での浮体式プラットフォームは、浮体式プラットフォーム深さを含み、前記浮体式プラットフォーム深さは、前記作動深さと実質的に同じである、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の浮体式エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記風力エネルギー変換装置及び波エネルギー変換装置は、風力エネルギー及び波エネルギーの各々をそれぞれの中間形態のエネルギーに変換するように構成され、前記それぞれの中間形態のエネルギーは、共通の2次エネルギー変換装置に伝達され、前記2次エネルギー変換装置は、前記中間形態のエネルギーを結合して、前記結合された中間形態のエネルギーを単一の形態の所望の出力エネルギーとして送出するように構成される、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の浮体式エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記装置は、前記風力エネルギー又は前記波エネルギーを1又は2以上のプーリー及び歯車を使用して機械エネルギーに変換するように構成され、さらに、前記機械エネルギーを前記共通の2次エネルギー変換装置に伝達するように構成され、前記2次エネルギー変換装置は、前記機械エネルギーを異なる形態のエネルギーに、前記異なる形態のエネルギーを前記装置から送出する前に、変換するように構成される、請求項7に記載の浮体式エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記装置は、前記風力エネルギー又は前記波エネルギーのいずれかを1又は2以上の液圧アクチュエータを使用して液圧エネルギーに変換するように構成され、さらに、前記液圧エネルギーを前記共通の2次エネルギー変換装置に伝達するように構成され、前記2次エネルギー変換装置は、前記機械エネルギーを異なる形態のエネルギーに、前記異なる形態のエネルギーを前記装置から送出する前に、変換するように構成される、請求項7に記載の浮体式エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記装置は、前記風力エネルギー又は前記波エネルギーのいずれかを第1の形態のエネルギーに変換するように構成され、さらに、前記第1の形態のエネルギーを共通の2次エネルギー変換装置に伝達するように構成され、前記2次エネルギー変換装置は、前記第1の形態のエネルギーを第2の形態のエネルギーに、前記第2の形態のエネルギーを前記装置から送出する前に、変換するように構成される、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の浮体式エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記風力エネルギー変換装置は、風力エネルギー1次変換装置及び風力エネルギー伝達手段を含む、請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の浮体式エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記波エネルギー変換装置は、波エネルギー1次変換装置と、波エネルギー伝達手段と、波エネルギー2次変換装置とを含む、請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載の浮体式エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記浮体式プラットフォームは、前記浮体式プラットフォームが前記水域の中に沈む使用時構成を含み、前記使用時構成において、前記連結部材は、前記風力エネルギー変換装置が前記水域より実質的に上方に位置するように前記水域の前記表面を通って突出する、請求項1から12のいずれか一項に記載の浮体式エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記使用時構成において、前記波エネルギー捕捉部は、前記水域の前記表面に又はそれに近接して配置される、請求項13に記載の浮体式エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記波エネルギー変換装置は、波エネルギー変換部に結合された波エネルギー捕捉部を含み、前記波エネルギー捕捉部は、前記波エネルギー捕捉部と前記波エネルギー変換部との間の距離を規定する適応可能な結合部材によって前記波エネルギー変換部に結合される、請求項1から14のいずれか一項に記載の浮体式エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記波エネルギー変換装置は、波エネルギー変換部に結合された波エネルギー捕捉部を含み、前記波エネルギー変換装置は、前記エネルギー変換部と前記波エネルギー捕捉部との間の相対運動を前記有用エネルギーに変換するように構成される、請求項1から15のいずれか一項に記載の浮体式エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記波エネルギー変換装置は、波エネルギー変換部に結合された波エネルギー捕捉部を含み、前記波エネルギー捕捉部は、フロートを含む、請求項1から16のいずれか一項に記載の浮体式エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記使用時構成において、前記装置は、波エネルギー及び風力エネルギーを前記有用エネルギーに変換するように構成される、請求項13から17のいずれか一項に記載の浮体式エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記浮体式プラットフォームは、前記浮体式プラットフォームの最上面と前記水域の前記表面との間の深さを、所定の範囲にわたって規定するように構成された適応可能な深さ設定手段を含む、請求項1から18のいずれか一項に記載の浮体式エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記適応可能な深さ設定手段は、前記浮体式プラットフォームを前記水域の前記海底に係留するロープを含み、前記浮体式プラットフォームの浮力は、前記ロープに適当な張力をもたらすように構成され、前記適当な張力は、前記使用時構成の場合に前記浮体式プラットフォームに安定性を提供する、請求項19に記載の浮体式エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記ロープにおける前記安定性及び張力は、前記浮体式プラットフォームの移動を実質的に阻止するように構成される、請求項20に記載の浮体式エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記ロープは、実質的に非弾性材料で構成される、請求項19、20又は21に記載の浮体式エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記連結部材の少なくとも一部は、前記連結部材を実質的に貫通する水通路を可能にするように構成された剛性開放フレーム枠を含む、請求項1から22のいずれか一項に記載の浮体式エネルギー変換装置。
- 前記ハウジングは、プラント、モーター、発電手段などの設備を格納するように構成された格納キャビティを含む、請求項1から23のいずれか一項に記載の浮体式エネルギー変換装置。
