Abstract

To provide a mask for suppressing exposure of a nostril or a mouth even in a situation in which a user has to move a lower jaw often for communication.SOLUTION: There is provided a mask 1 attached to a wearer's face for covering a wearer's nostril and a surrounding of the mouth. The mask comprises: a main body 2; and ear hook parts 11, 11 extending from the main body 2. The main body 2 comprises: a front side member 3; and a rear side member 4 provided at inside of the front side member 3 in a state of attaching the mask 1 to a wearer's face. Description

The present invention relates to a mask that covers the nostrils and the periphery of the mouth.

In viral infections caused by coronavirus and the like, the infection spreads through droplets floating in the air due to coughing and the like. In particular, in spaces where it is difficult to keep a certain distance from others, such as indoors, it is recommended to use a mask to prevent infection.

The purpose of the mask is to prevent the droplets from spreading over a wide area due to the cough of an infected person, or to prevent the droplets in the air from reaching the nostrils or mouth. Therefore, common masks are worn along the face around the nostrils and mouth.

As such a mask, there is a mask as shown in Patent Document 1.

For example, in nursery schools, kindergartens, schools, various classrooms, etc., there are situations in which the lower jaw must be moved frequently in order to communicate. When a mask as shown in Patent Document 1 is worn and the lower jaw is moved, there is a problem that the position of the mask gradually shifts and the nostrils and mouth are exposed.

Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a mask that suppresses exposure of the nostrils and mouth even in a situation where the lower jaw must be moved frequently in order to communicate.

The mask according to claim 1 is a mask that is attached to the face to cover the nose and the periphery of the mouth, and includes a main body and an ear hook extending from the main body. In this state, it has a back side member provided inside the front side member, and when the mask is attached, the front side member is maintained in a position to block droplets from the nose and mouth, and the back side member contacts the wearer's lower jaw. The back side member can move integrally with the wearer's lower jaw with respect to the front side member.

According to the mask of claim 1, the front side member is maintained at a position of blocking the droplets from the nostrils and the mouth, the back side member abuts on the lower jaw of the wearer, and the back side member is in contact with the front side member. It is possible to move together with the wearer's lower jaw. Therefore, even if the mask is worn and the mouth is moved, only the back side member of the mask body moves, and the front side member of the mask body is maintained at a position where the nostrils and the droplets from the mouth are blocked. It is possible to suppress exposure.

The mask according to claim 2 is the mask according to claim 1, and when the mask is attached, a gap is formed between the back surface of the front side member and the front surface of the back side member.

According to the mask of claim 2, in addition to the same operation as the mask of claim 1, the front side member of the main body of the mask is in a position to block the droplets from the nostrils and the mouth, and the back surface and back side members of the front side member. It is possible to improve the ease of breathing due to the gap between the surface and the surface of the cloth.

The mask of claim 3 has a curved surface in the mask of claim 1 or 2 so that the back member is in contact with the shape of the wearer's lower jaw.

According to the mask of claim 3, in addition to the same function as the mask of claim 1 or 2, the back side member fits tightly to the wearer's lower jaw, so that the back side member is integrated with the wearer's lower jaw. The sense of stability when moving is improved.

The mask according to any one of claims 1 to 3 suppresses the exposure of the nostrils and mouth even in a situation where the lower jaw must be moved frequently.

The mask 1 of the embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In the following description, the vertical direction and the horizontal direction are the vertical direction and the horizontal direction when the wearer wears the mask. In the brief description of the above drawing and the following description, the front and back are the back side which is relatively close to the wearer and the front side which is far from the wearer when the wearer wears the mask.

As shown in FIG. 1, the mask 1 is a mask worn on the face and covering the nostrils and the periphery of the mouth.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the mask 1 includes a main body 2 and ear hook portions 111 and 11 extending from the main body 2.

The main body 2 has a front side member 3 and a back side member 4 provided inside the front side member 3 when attached to the face. In other words, as shown in FIG. 2, the back side member 4 is provided on the back surface side of the front side member 3.

Both ends of the back side member 4 in the left-right direction are fixed to both ends of the front side member 3 in the left-right direction.

The vertical width of the back side member 4 is narrower than the vertical width of the front side member 3.

When the wearer wearing the mask 1 is viewed from the front, the front side member 3 overlaps a part of the back side member 4.

The distance between both ends of the front side member 3 in the left-right direction is longer than the distance between both ends of the back side member 4 in the left-right direction.

As shown in FIG. 4, when the main body 2 is expanded in the left-right direction in order to attach the mask 1, a gap 5 is formed between the back surface of the front side member 3 and the front surface of the back side member 4.

As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, this gap 5 serves as a ventilation path. The gap 5 makes it possible to both maintain the front side member 3 at a position that blocks droplets from the nostrils and the mouth and improve the ease of breathing.

The back member 4 has a curved surface so as to be in contact with the shape of the wearer's lower jaw.

As shown in FIG. 5, when the mask 1 is attached, the front side member 3 is maintained at a position of blocking droplets from the nostrils and the mouth, and the back side member 4 comes into contact with the wearer's lower jaw.

The back side member 4 can move with respect to the front side member 3 integrally with the wearer's lower jaw. Further, the material itself of the back side member 4 may be elastic so that the back side member 4 can move integrally with the wearer's lower jaw in a state of being fitted to the wearer's lower jaw.

The front side member 3 is in a position to block droplets from the nostrils and the mouth, but is separated from the wearer's mouth. Even if the front side member 3 is separated from the mouth, the back side member 4 abuts on the lower jaw and is in contact with the lower jaw, so that the sense of stability when the mask 1 is attached is increased.

The front member 3 is not in direct contact with the lower jaw. The front member 3 is not pulled in the vertical direction even if the lower jaw is moved. On the other hand, with respect to the front side member 3, only the back side member 4 moves integrally with the wearer's lower jaw. Therefore, even if the lower jaw is moved, the position of the front side member 3 is gradually displaced, and it is possible to prevent the nostrils and mouth from being exposed.

In the above embodiment, the case where both ends of the back side member 4 in the left-right direction are fixed to both ends of the front side member 3 in the left-right direction has been described, but the present invention is not limited to this. For example, the back side member may be detachably provided on the back side of the front side member.

In the above embodiment, the case where the upper end of the back member 4 is located under the lower lip as shown in FIG. 5 when the mask 1 is attached has been described, but the present invention is not limited to this. For example, the upper end of the back member 4 may extend upward to a position where the nostrils and droplets from the mouth are blocked while being separated from the wearer's mouth.

A mask that is worn on the face and covers the nostrils and around the mouth.
