Description

The present invention relates to, for example, a thoracolumbar orthotic device used in orthotic therapy, which is a type of conservative therapy for vertebral compression fractures.

In recent years, in the treatment of compression fractures of the thoracolumbar spine, which is often seen in the elderly, there is a tendency to prescribe a trunk orthotic device to the injured person (wearer) at an early stage after the injury and return to home. As one of such trunk orthotic devices, for example, a juette type trunk orthotic device (thoracolumbar spine orthotic device) of Non-Patent Document 1 is known.
This orthotic device is fixed to a rectangular frame arranged on the front surface of the body, and is formed into a rectangular frame via a sternum pad, a sternum pad, and a pair of upper and lower connecting belts that are pressed against the sternum in the center of the body. Three-point support with one large-sized back belt (back pad) to be connected fixes the trunk while maintaining the extended position of the sternum and lumbar spine, and prevents excessive flexion and rotational stress on the spinal column. , Prevents the exacerbation of compression fractures.

When wearing the injured person, first check the top and bottom of the device before wearing it, turn the right side of the device in front of the body and support it with one hand, and in this state, fix it to the right side of the back belt with the other hand. Temporarily fix the two rings by passing the corresponding connecting belts through each.
After that, when this is actually attached, grasp the temporarily fixed orthotic device with both hands, turn the orthotic device so that the centers of the sternum pad and the pubic bone pad are located at the center of the front of the body, and on the line connecting the ilium. Place the pubic pad. Then, while pressing the orthotic device against the body with one hand so that they would not be misaligned, the other hand pulled the two connecting belts forward strongly to tighten them.

[令和1年10月19日検索]、インターネット<URL:http://www.nakamura-brace.co.jp/wp-content/uploads/sites/6/jet-maejime.pdf>[Search on October 19, 1st year of Reiwa], Internet <URL: http://www.nakamura-brace.co.jp/wp-content/uploads/sites/6/jet-maejime.pdf>

However, since the juet-type trunk orthotic device of Non-Patent Document 1 has a structure in which the orthotic device is exteriorized from the side of the body to the upper body, the orthotic device is temporarily attached by two connecting belts while making full use of both hands. It had to be stopped, and this temporary fixing work was troublesome.
Moreover, when the orthotic device is actually attached, first grasp the temporarily fixed orthotic device with both hands, turn the orthotic device so that the centers of the sternum pad and the pubic bone pad are arranged in the center of the front of the body, and in addition, rotate the orthotic device in the vertical direction. Had to move to and place the pubic pad on the line connecting the ilium. After that, it was necessary to hold the orthotic device with one hand so that the positions would not shift, and to pull the two connecting belts forward strongly with the other hand to tighten them. As a result, it was troublesome to attach the Jewel-type trunk orthotic device of Non-Patent Document 1, and it took a long time to attach it.
Further, in the conventional juet type trunk orthotic device, it is difficult to distinguish the upper and lower parts of the orthotic device due to its structure. For example, if an error is noticed during wearing, this work must be redone from the beginning. However, it is almost impossible for the elderly to wear it alone during the period of intense pain after a compression fracture of the thoracolumbar spine, and it often requires the help of a caregiver. As a result, injured people living alone missed the opportunity to be treated with a juette-type trunk orthotic device.

Therefore, as a result of diligent research, the inventor connected the left and right shoulder arms straddling the shoulders to the upper part of the back plate with the back pad, which is the main body of the equipment, and left and right to the tips of these arms. A new three-point support thoracolumbar spine device with a chest pad and a waist belt wrapped around the lumbar region, including the pelvis, at the bottom of the back plate will solve all of the above problems. Knowing that, he completed this invention.

The present invention has been made in view of such problems, and it is easy to put on and take off the orthotic device including temporary fixing, and these operations can be performed in a short time, and the thoracolumbar spine is in the extended position. It is an object of the present invention to provide an orthotic device for the thoracolumbar spine that can be firmly maintained and the upper and lower parts of the orthotic device can be easily distinguished.

The present invention according to claim 1 is a thoracolumbar spine device that maintains the extension position of the thoracolumbar spine and fixes the trunk, and is attached to a back plate that supports the thoracolumbar spine from the back and an inner surface of the back plate. A back pad, a left shoulder arm whose base end is connected to the upper left side of the back plate and curved forward so as to straddle the left shoulder, and a left chest arm provided at the tip of the left shoulder arm. The left chest pad pressed against the back plate, the right shoulder arm whose base end is connected to the upper right side of the back plate and curved forward so as to straddle the right shoulder, and the tip of the right shoulder arm. A thoracolumbar spinal cord device provided with a right chest pad that is pressed against the right chest and a waist belt that is connected to the lower part of the back plate and wrapped around the waist including the pelvis. ..

The material of the back plate is arbitrary as long as it is hard. For example, various synthetic resins (polyethylene, vinyl chloride, polypropylene, polyester, polycarbonate, etc.), various plasters, various metals (aluminum alloy, stainless steel, etc.) and the like can be adopted.
The shape and size of the back plate are arbitrary as long as they can support the thoracolumbar spine. However, the width of the upper part of the back plate is preferably narrower than the width of the lower part so as not to narrow the movable area of both arms.

The material of the back pad may be any material as long as it has cushioning properties. For example, various soft synthetic resins, of which foamable soft synthetic resins (temper foam (registered trademark), urethane foam, etc.) are preferable. In addition, various kinds of cloths (woven cloth, non-woven fabric, net cloth) and the like may be used. The materials for the left and right breast pads are the same as those for the back pad.
The shape of the back pad is arbitrary. For example, a circle, an ellipse, a triangle, a polygon of a quadrangle or more can be adopted.
The optimal site for the back pad to come into contact is the area of the thoracic to lumbar transition. The reason is that the thoracic spine is anatomically kyphosis, which requires support from the back plate due to the principle of three-point support, and also requires cushioning for pain relief.

The material of the left and right shoulder arms is arbitrary as long as it is hard. For example, various metals (aluminum alloy, stainless steel, etc.) and various synthetic resins (polycarbonate, etc.) may be used. When the left and right shoulder arms are made of metal, the entire surface may be covered with a cloth having a high cushioning property such as a double Russell cloth.
The left and right shoulder arms may be, for example, a plate material or a bar material.
The side view shape of the left and right shoulder arms is arbitrary as long as it is curved forward so as to straddle the corresponding shoulder. For example, it may be an inverted U-shape, an inverted J-shape, or a downward U-shape. These shoulder arms may or may not contact the corresponding shoulders when the device is worn. However, if the height is adjusted so that it does not come into contact, the corresponding shoulder arm does not get in the way when the arm is moved.

The term "curved forward so as to straddle the shoulders" here means that each shoulder arm extends from the corresponding back side to the front of the chest over the shoulder when the thoracolumbar spine device is worn. do.
The base ends of the left and right shoulder arms may be inseparably fixed to the upper part of the back plate, and may be provided so that the mounting positions can be adjusted in the height direction and the width direction of the back plate. As the mounting position adjusting means used at that time, for example, various screwing structures, various slide lock structures, and the like can be adopted.

The shape of the left and right breast pads is arbitrary. For example, it may be a circle, an ellipse, a triangle, or a polygon having a quadrangle or more.
The position of the chest against which these left and right breast pads are pressed is not limited. For example, it may be near the left and right clavicle. However, the optimum site where the left and right breast pads come into contact is the position where the upper edge of each breast pad is 2 to 3 cm below the clavicle. The reason is that if the position is higher than this, the bearing capacity of the chest is reduced, and if the position is lower than this, the fixation of the left and right chest pads is reduced by the breast, especially in the case of women.
The left and right breast pads may be inseparably fixed to the tips of the left and right shoulder arms, or may be hooked so that the mounting position can be changed. As the hooking member, for example, a hook-and-loop fastener or the like can be adopted.

The material of the waist belt is arbitrary. For example, various fabrics, various synthetic resins, and the like can be adopted. In particular, those having low elasticity are preferable.
The waist belt may be one long belt or a pair of left and right partial belts. As the belt fastening member (hooking member), for example, a hook-and-loop fastener, a buckle, or the like may be adopted.
The waist belt is not limited to the waist. In particular, the area around the pelvis is preferable because the fixing force of the thoracolumbar spine orthotic device by the waist belt is increased.

According to the second aspect of the present invention, the back plate is made of synthetic resin, the back pad is arranged in the area of the connecting portion between the thoracic spine and the lumbar spine, and the back plate is directly behind the back pad. The thoracolumbar spine device according to claim 1, wherein a pair of left and right metal reinforcing members that support a connecting portion between the thoracic spine and the lumbar spine from both sides are arranged in the region.

As the material of the reinforcing member, various metals (aluminum alloy, stainless steel, iron, etc.) can be adopted.
The shape of the reinforcing member is arbitrary. For example, it may be a bar material or a plate material.
The length of the reinforcing member (the length in the height direction of the back plate) is arbitrary. However, at least a length is required to support the connection between the thoracic spine and the lumbar spine.
The mounting position of the reinforcing member on the back plate is arbitrary. However, the opposite side of the back pad (position directly behind) is also preferable for reinforcing the three-point support by the back pad and the left and right breast pads.

According to the third aspect of the present invention, the left shoulder arm and the right shoulder arm are each inverted U-shaped when viewed from the side, and the distance between the left shoulder arm and the right shoulder arm is set. The thoracolumbar orthotic device according to claim 1, wherein the space between the apex through which the neck is passed is wide, and the space between the base end and the tip portion is narrower than the space between the apex. be.

The distance between the inner edges of the tops of the left and right shoulder arms is, for example, 11 cm to 17 cm. Below 11 cm, the range of motion of the neck tends to be narrow in adults. Moreover, if it exceeds 17 cm, the range of motion of both arms of an adult tends to be narrowed.
The distance between the base ends of the left and right shoulder arms is, for example, 5 cm to 10 cm. If it is less than 5 cm, the range of motion of the adult's neck tends to be narrowed. Moreover, if it exceeds 10 cm, the range of motion of both arms of an adult tends to be narrowed.

Further, the distance between the tips of the left and right shoulder arms is, for example, 6 cm to 14 cm. Below 6 cm, the distance between the left and right breast pads becomes too narrow, and the three-point bearing capacity that maintains the extended position of the thoracolumbar spine by the back pad and both breast pads in adults decreases. In addition, if it exceeds 14 cm, the distance between the left and right breast pads becomes too wide, and the three-point bearing capacity of the back pad and both breast pads in adults decreases, and the left and right breast pads become an obstacle. , The range of motion of both arms tends to be narrow.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, when wearing the thoracolumbar spine device, first, the left and right shoulder arms are hooked on both shoulders from the back side, and in this state, the waist belt is around the waist, especially around the pelvis. Wrap loosely and temporarily fix the equipment.
After that, in this temporarily fixed state, the left and right breast pads and the back pad are aligned respectively, and after the alignment is completed, the waist belt is tightly wrapped around the pelvis or the like. This causes the left and right breast pads to be pressed against the corresponding left and right breasts, while the back pad is applied to the back. That is, the thoracolumbar orthotic device is firmly fixed to the body and the thoracolumbar extension position is maintained by the three-point support of the anterior left and right chest pads and the posterior back support pad so that the trunk stands upright. .. In this way, excessive flexion and rotational stress are less likely to act on the spinal column, and as a result, deterioration of compression fracture can be prevented.
Further, when removing the orthotic device, contrary to the above-mentioned operation, the waist belt wrapped around the waist including the pelvis may be removed, and then the left and right shoulder arms may be removed from both shoulders.

Since the orthotic device for the thoracolumbar spine is configured in this way, it is easy to put on and take off the orthotic device including temporary fixing, and these operations can be performed in a short time, and the extension position of the thoracolumbar spine is firmly maintained. can do.
In addition, the thoracolumbar spine orthotic device can take a temporary fixing posture in which the left and right shoulder arms are hooked on both shoulders at the beginning of wearing the orthotic device. Therefore, it is easy to adjust the support position of the thoracolumbar spine by the left and right chest pads and the back support pad arranged on the thoracolumbar spine orthotic device. Moreover, after this adjustment, the attachment of the thoracolumbar orthotic device can be completed simply by wrapping the waist belt tightly around the waist including the pelvis.
Furthermore, when the thoracolumbar spine orthotic device is worn, the upper and lower sides of the orthotic device can be easily discriminated simply by visually recognizing the positions of the left and right shoulder arms.

In particular, according to the second aspect of the present invention, since the synthetic resin is used as the material of the back plate, the wearing feeling of the orthotic device is improved.
Further, in the region of the back plate directly behind the back pad, a pair of left and right metal reinforcing members are arranged to support the connecting portion between the thoracic spine and the lumbar spine from both sides. This results in extension of the thoracolumbar spine with three-point support of the anterior left, right breast pad, and posterior back pad, despite the greater freedom of the wearer's upper body compared to the trunk cast and metal corset. The ability to maintain the rank will increase.

Further, according to the third aspect of the present invention, since the shape of the left and right shoulder arms is inverted U-shaped when viewed from the side, the left and right shoulder arms are attached to the corresponding shoulders when the orthotic device is attached. Can be arranged along. As a result, the wearing feeling of the orthotic device is enhanced, and the orthotic device can be made compact.
Furthermore, the distance between the left and right shoulder arms is widened between the tops through which the neck is passed, and narrower between the base ends and the tips than between the tops, resulting in a larger neck. It is possible to secure a range of motion and a large range of motion for both arms at the same time.

Hereinafter, examples of the present invention will be specifically described.

In FIG. 1, reference numeral 10 denotes a thoracolumbar spine device according to the first embodiment of the present invention, which maintains the extended position of the thoracolumbar spine and fixes the trunk.
As shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, the thoracolumbar spine device 10 includes a back plate 11 that supports the thoracolumbar spine from the back, a back pad 12 attached to the inner surface of the back plate 11, and the left side of the back plate 11. A left shoulder arm 13 whose base end is connected to the upper part of the body and curved forward so as to straddle the left shoulder, and a left chest pad 14 provided at the tip of the left shoulder arm 13 and pressed against the left chest. , The base end portion is connected to the upper part on the right side of the back plate 11, and the right shoulder arm 15 is curved forward so as to straddle the right shoulder portion, and the right shoulder arm 15 is provided at the tip end portion of the right chest portion. It includes a right chest pad 16 that is pressed against the back plate 11 and a waist belt 17 that is connected to the lower part of the back plate 11 and is wrapped around the waist including the pelvis.

Hereinafter, these components will be specifically described.
As shown in FIGS. 1, 2 and 6, the back plate 11 is made of polyethylene (synthetic resin), and plaster plate P is stretched over the entire inner surface thereof. The back plate 11 has a height capable of supporting substantially the entire thoracic and lumbar vertebrae.
The lower part of the back plate 11 is wide and the left and right ends are curved inward so as to support a pair of left and right ilium bones of the pelvis (see also FIGS. 3 and 4). The middle portion of the lower portion of the back plate 11 in the major axis direction is recessed upward in an arc shape.

Further, in the vicinity of the left end portion of the lower portion of the back plate 11, the base end portion of the left side partial waist belt 17A which constitutes a part of the waist belt 17 and has the female face fastener 18 stretched over the entire surface of the tip portion is formed. It is screwed (see also FIG. 6). On the other hand, near the right end of the lower part of the back plate 11, the base end of the right side waist belt 17B which constitutes a part of the waist belt 17 and has the male hook-and-loop fastener 19 stretched over the entire back surface of the tip portion. It is screwed (see also FIG. 6). In these partial waist belts 17A and 17B, a mesh cloth 20 having low elasticity is used for each belt main body portion so that the fixing force to the waist portion including the pelvis is increased.
As described above, the left and right partial waist belts 17A and 17B are narrower than the general waist belt, and their respective base ends are connected to the vicinity of the lower left and right ends of the back plate 11. Therefore, the left and right ends of the lower portion of the back plate 11 project below the base ends of the partial waist belts 17A and 17B. With this configuration, when the wearer sits down, the waist belt 17 is less likely to bite into the thigh.

Further, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 6, in the region of the back plate 11 directly behind (opposite side) the back support pad 12, the connecting portion between the thoracic spine and the lumbar spine is supported from both sides (left-right direction). A pair of left and right reinforcing bars (reinforcing members) 21 are arranged. Each reinforcing bar 21 is made of stainless steel (metal) elongated in the vertical direction.
The middle portion (waist portion) in the height direction of the back plate 11 is formed to be narrow so as to reduce the contact area with the body.
Further, the upper portion of the back plate 11 is also formed to be narrow so as to secure a large range of motion for both arms.

Furthermore, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a large-sized back pad 12 having a substantially rectangular shape with rounded corners is provided on the inner surface of the back plate 11 in the area where the thoracic spine and the lumbar spine are connected. , It is detachably attached via a hook-and-loop fastener (not shown). By using this hook-and-loop fastener and allowing the back support pad 12 to be hooked and detached, the mounting position of the back support pad 12 with respect to the back plate 11 can be appropriately changed according to the wearing feeling of the wearer.
The back pad 12 is made by coating a thick soft synthetic resin foam, which is a shock absorbing material, with a stocking net.
Further, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 6, four back side screw holes 22 are provided in the upper left portion and the upper right portion of the back plate 11 diagonally upward from the center point of the mounting position of the back support pad 12. A pair of left and right virtual radiations (not shown) are perforated at a predetermined pitch (for example, at intervals of 5 mm to 30 mm).

As shown in FIGS. 1, 3 and 6, the left and right shoulder arms 13 and 15 are plate materials made of high-strength aluminum alloy curved in an inverted U shape when viewed from the side, respectively. The surfaces of the left and right shoulder arms 13 and 15 are covered with leather, and a plaster plate P1 serving as a cushioning material is spread on the inner surfaces of the shoulder arms 13 and 15.
Further, the base ends of the left and right shoulder arms 13 and 15 are rounded, and a pair of upper and lower arm-side screw holes 23 are arranged in the middle portion in the width direction (see FIG. 6). The distance between the arm-side screw holes 23 is two pitches of the corresponding back-side screw holes 22.
Further, in the left and right shoulder arms 13 and 15, two of the four back side screw holes 22 arranged on the corresponding virtual radiation of the back plate 11 and each arm side screw hole 23 are overlapped with each other. After that, by screwing a pair of arm screws 24 into these, they are connected to the left and upper right portions of the back plate 11 so that their heights can be adjusted.

A pair of mounting plates 25 are screwed to the tips of the left and right shoulder arms 13 and 15, respectively. These mounting plates 25 are made of polyethylene and have an oval rectangular shape.
Further, the left and right breast pads 16 are formed by covering a rectangular and thick soft synthetic resin foam slightly larger than the corresponding mounting plate 25 with a stocking net. The left and right breast pads 16 are position-adjustably hooked to the corresponding mounting plates 25 via hook-and-loop fasteners (not shown).

Next, the usage of the thoracolumbar spine orthotic device 10 according to the first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 5 to 7.
As shown in FIGS. 5 to 7, when using the thoracolumbar orthotic device 10, the prosthetist orthotist fits the thoracolumbar orthotic device 10 according to the wearer's body shape in advance under the prescription of a doctor. The fitting work here is completed only by adjusting the heights of the left and right shoulder arms 13 and 15 with respect to the back plate 11.

Specifically, first, the waist belt 17 is wrapped around the wearer's pelvis, and the lower part of the back plate 11 is temporarily fixed to the wearer's waist. In this state, the prosthetist performed two of the four back side screw holes 22 arranged on the corresponding virtual radiation of the back plate 11 and the left and right shoulder arms 13 and 15. The arm-side screw holes 23 are overlapped with each other, and the arm screws 24 are screwed into the screw holes 22 and 23, respectively, so that the wearer can confirm the wearing feeling of the device (see FIG. 6). After that, by repeating the above-mentioned work, the heights of the left and right shoulder arms 13 and 15 with respect to the left and upper right portions of the back plate 11 are adjusted. By performing this work, the fitting of the thoracolumbar orthotic device 10 to the wearer is completed.

At this time, as shown in FIG. 7, since the shapes of the left and right shoulder arms 13 and 15 are viewed sideways and formed into an inverted U shape, the left and right shoulder arms 13 and 15 correspond to each other when the orthotic device is attached. Can be placed along the shoulders. As a result, the wearing feeling of the orthotic device 10 is enhanced, and the orthotic device 10 can be made compact.
Further, as shown in FIG. 6, the left and right shoulder arms 13 and 15 have a pair of left and right base ends extending diagonally upward from the center point of the back support pad 12 mounting position in the back plate 11. Each is screwed through two back side screw holes 22 arranged on the virtual radiation. Therefore, the left and right shoulder arms 13 and 15 have a wider space between the tops (13 cm in this case) a through which the neck is passed, and the bases of the left and right shoulder arms 13 and 15 are larger than the space between the tops a. The distance between the ends (here 5.5 cm) b and the distance between the tips (here 7 cm) c are narrower (see FIG. 2). As a result, a large range of motion of the neck and a large range of motion of both arms can be secured at the same time.

Next, the work of attaching the thoracolumbar spine device 10 will be described with reference to FIGS. 5 to 7.
When wearing the thoracolumbar orthotic device 10, first, at the beginning of wearing the device 10, the rigid left and right shoulder arms 13 and 15 are hooked on both shoulders, and in this state, the waist belt 17 is placed around the waist, especially around the pelvis. Is loosely wrapped around the device 10 to temporarily fix the device 10.
After that, in this temporarily fixed state, the left and right breast pads 14 and 16 arranged in front of the body are aligned with the corresponding left and right breasts, and the back support pads 12 arranged in the rear of the body are placed in the thoracic spine and the lumbar spine. Align with the area connected to. Further, a pair of left and right reinforcing bars 21 are arranged on both sides of the connecting portion between the thoracic vertebra and the lumbar vertebra.

After the alignment is completed, the waist belt 17 is tightly wrapped around the pelvis. With just this work, the attachment of the thoracolumbar spine orthotic device 10 is completed. That is, the left and right breast pads 14 and 16 are pressed against the corresponding left and right breasts, while the back pad 12 is applied to the back. As a result, the thoracolumbar spine device 10 is firmly fixed to the body so that the trunk stands upright through the three-point support of the anterior left and right chest pads 14, 16 and the posterior back support pad 12, and the chest. The extended position of the lumbar spine is maintained. As a result, excessive flexion and rotational stress are less likely to act on the spinal column, and deterioration of compression fracture can be prevented.
Further, when removing the thoracolumbar spine orthotic device 10, contrary to the above-mentioned operation, the waist belt 17 wrapped around the pelvis is removed, and then the left and right shoulder arms 13 and 15 are simply removed from both shoulders. good.

Since the orthotic device 10 for the thoracolumbar spine is configured in this way, the work of attaching and detaching the orthotic device 10 including the temporary fixing is easy, and these operations can be performed in a short time, and the extension position of the thoracolumbar spine is firm. Can be maintained at.
Further, the thoracolumbar spine orthotic device 10 can take a temporary fixing posture in which the left and right shoulder arms 13 and 15 are hooked on both shoulders at the initial stage of wearing the orthotic device 10. Therefore, the support positions of the thoracolumbar spine can be easily adjusted by the left and right breast pads 14 and 16 and the back support pads 12 arranged on the orthotic device 10. Moreover, after this adjustment, the attachment of the thoracolumbar orthotic device 10 can be completed simply by tightly wrapping the waist belt 17 around the waist including the pelvis.
Further, when the thoracolumbar spine device 10 is worn, the upper and lower sides of the device can be easily discriminated only by visually recognizing the positions of the left and right shoulder arms 13 and 15.

Furthermore, since polyethylene, which is a kind of synthetic resin, is used as the material of the back plate 11, the wearing feeling of the orthotic device is improved.
Further, in the region of the back plate 11 directly behind the back pad 12, two stainless steel reinforcing bars 21 that support the connecting portion between the thoracic spine and the lumbar spine from both sides are arranged in parallel. This further enhances the ability of the thoracolumbar spine to maintain the extended position with these reinforcing bars, despite the greater freedom of the wearer's upper body compared to the trunk cast and metal corset.
Furthermore, since the shapes of the left and right shoulder arms 13 and 15 are inverted U-shaped when viewed from the side, the left and right shoulder arms 13 and 15 should be arranged along the corresponding shoulders when the orthotic device is attached. Can be done. As a result, the wearing feeling of the orthotic device 10 is enhanced, and the orthotic device 10 can be made compact.

Although the thoracolumbar spine equipment 10 is a thoracolumbar corset with a back plate, the upper body is supported by a waist belt 17 that tightens the pelvis and left and right shoulder arms 13 and 15 whose tips are in contact with the left and right chests. Only enough support for the thoracolumbar spine.
The reason is that the thoracolumbar orthotic device 10 uses the principle of three-point support to fix the pelvis and the upper body to the strong back plate 11 to limit the movement of the thoracolumbar spine. Because it can be done.
Actually, a sample of this thoracolumbar orthotic device 10 was prepared and attached to a patient, and when X-ray photography and image analysis were performed, it was found that the movement of the vertebral body in the thoracolumbar spine was suppressed and it was supportive. ..

The present invention is useful as a technique for a thoracolumbar orthotic device that maintains the extended position of the thoracolumbar spine and fixes the trunk.
