Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a heat treatment apparatus for carbonaceous granules and a method for assembling the same.
Since the physical characteristics of carbonaceous granules such as smokeless coal granules, coke granules, carbonaceous granules, and mixed granules of metal oxide and carbon change significantly depending on the heat treatment temperature, raw materials for electrodes and carbonic refractories. , When used as an electronic material or a battery material, uniform heat treatment is required. Further, even when a mixture of a metal oxide and carbon is reduced by heat treatment to obtain carbides of various metals, it is indispensable to heat-treat uniformly in order to ensure the desired reaction.
Therefore, conventionally, a method of continuously heat-treating carbonaceous granules such as anthracite granules at about 1500 ° C. to 2000 ° C. by putting them into a vertical electroheat treatment furnace and directly energizing the carbonaceous granules is an electric roasting technique. Widely used as. Further, Patent Document 1 discloses a method of uniformly graphitizing at about 3000 ° C.
In the heat treatment of carbonaceous particles in the heat treatment apparatus, it is necessary to make the filling degree of the carbonic particles in the furnace uniform and the flow rate of the carbonic particles per unit time uniform. If the filling degree of the carbonaceous plastids is non-uniform, not only the heat treatment for the carbonic plastids becomes non-uniform, but also the flow of the carbonic plastids is hindered, and in the worst case, a stationary layer may be formed and the inside of the furnace may be blocked. There is. Further, the same problem may occur when the flow rate of the carbonaceous plastids is partially disturbed and the flow rate of the carbonic plastids descending in the furnace per unit time differs depending on the descending position.
In particular, in a vertical electroheat treatment furnace in which the carbonaceous particles are continuously heat-treated by directly energizing the carbonaceous particles, a change in resistivity due to a change in filling degree affects the current path. As a result, a phenomenon in which an electric current flows locally in the furnace body filled with carbonaceous particles, that is, a drift may occur. In addition, although a cylindrical upper electrode extends inside the tubular structure, if the distance between the inner peripheral surface of the tubular structure and the outer peripheral surface of the upper electrode is not uniform, drift may occur. be.
When a drift occurs in the vertical electroheat treatment furnace, not only the carbonaceous particles cannot be uniformly heat-treated, but also the drift portion may become extremely hot. When such a remarkably high temperature portion is locally generated, sublimation of carbon occurs in the carbonaceous granules in the furnace. As a result, there is a risk of causing local wear of the electrodes, and there is a risk that the sublimated gas cools and condenses, forming a so-called bridge portion, which causes blockage in the furnace. When carbonaceous plastids were blocked in the furnace, it became difficult to continue continuous operation and productivity decreased.
One of the causes of the non-uniform filling degree of the carbonaceous particles is the shape of the tubular structure in which the carbonic particles are heat-treated. Generally, a tubular structure is made up of a single tubular material. In this case, since the shape can be completely cylindrical, the filling degree of the carbonaceous granules tends to be uniform. However, in the case of a device of a scale intended for industrial production, the inner diameter of the tubular structure is preferably at least 400 mm or more, and in order to further increase productivity, it is preferably 800 mm or more. There was a problem that there was no material or it was difficult to secure it. Specifically, the tubular structure is cut out from an industrially manufactured carbonaceous or graphite (artificial graphite) block material or round electrode material, but due to the limit of these material sizes, the tubular structure is cut out. There was also a limit to the diameter of the body tube.
Therefore, the tubular structure used for a device of a scale intended for industrial production is a polygonal columnar hollow structure formed by joining the long sides of a plate made of a plurality of artificial graphites. For example, as shown in FIG. 10, which is a plan view of the conventional
In particular, when the heat treatment apparatus is a vertical electric heat treatment furnace, there remains a problem even if the tubular structure can be formed into a regular hexagonal columnar shape. That is, in a plan view, it can be seen that the distance from the outer periphery of the upper electrode to the side of the regular hexadecagon of the
Further, as shown in FIG. 10, a
In addition, it is desirable to provide a heat insulating layer on the outside of the lower electrode and the tubular structure to prevent heat dissipation to the outside of the furnace. However, if the number of joint surfaces of the tubular structure is large, distortion during construction and heat during operation Gap is likely to occur on the joint surface due to expansion or the like. As a result, the heat insulating material forming the outer heat insulating layer is mixed in the furnace, which adversely affects the flow of carbonaceous particles, heat transfer, and the current path during heat treatment. In addition, foreign matter may be mixed into the heat-treated product after the heat treatment.
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention can continue the heat treatment of carbonaceous plastids uniformly and for a long period of time without causing changes in the filling degree of the carbonic plastids, disturbance of fluidity, and blockage in the furnace due to these. It is an object of the present invention to provide a heat treatment apparatus for carbonaceous particles and a method for assembling the same, which can improve productivity.

[1. First Embodiment]
[1-1. composition]
[Carbonate plastids]
First, the carbonaceous granule A used in the heat treatment apparatus for the carbonaceous granules according to the first embodiment will be described. As the carbonaceous granule A, granules such as anthracite granules, coke granules, and granules composed of a mixture thereof, and granules of a mixture of a metal oxide and carbon can be used. Further, the anthracite and coke may include those that have not been calsigned (temporarily burned), and the coke includes petroleum coke, coal coke, fluid coke, needle coke and the like. The anthracite granules and coke granules are granules of, for example, about 10 mm to 20 mm, which are obtained by crushing massive anthracite or coke. The granulated material is formed by mixing a binder or water with raw materials such as anthracite or coke-derived carbon powder, artificial graphite powder, and metal oxide, and is formed by a granulator such as a disc peretta, and further undergoes a drying process. It is a hardened granule. As the binder, for example, starch powder, particularly α-cornstarch powder can be used. Pitch, phenol resin, other synthetic polymer compounds, water-soluble polysaccharides and the like can also be used as the binder as long as it can be cured or carbonized. The carbonaceous granule A of the present embodiment is a columnar body having a smooth surface, a diameter of about 10 mm, and a height of 10 mm to 15 mm. In the present embodiment, the carbonaceous plastid A is directly energized to generate Joule heat and heat-treated.
[Heat treatment equipment]
Next, the heat treatment apparatus for carbonaceous granules according to the first embodiment will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a side view showing the configuration of the heat treatment apparatus 1 according to the present embodiment. The heat treatment apparatus 1 includes a
[Input section]
The charging
The
The
The
Four
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the
As shown in FIG. 4, the
The
The
[Heat treatment section]
The
The
Inside the
The
A conductive
A
The
As shown in FIG. 6, the
Further, as shown in FIG. 7, the tip of the
As described above, the
Further, in the adhesion for forming the
Further, the
It is important to ensure the parallelism of the upper surface of the

[Cooling unit]
The cooling
The
The

[1-2. Action]
The operation of the heat treatment apparatus 1 of the present embodiment will be described with reference to the flowchart of FIG. First, the flexible container bag containing the carbonaceous particles A is lifted by a crane or the like and placed on a
The carbonaceous granule A from which the fine powder has been removed descends inside the
The carbonaceous granules A discharged from the four
Since the
By the way, since the temperature inside the
In this embodiment, two

[1-3. effect]
(1) The heat treatment apparatus 1 of the present embodiment includes a cylindrical
The cylindrical
(2) A
(3) The heat treatment apparatus 1 of the present embodiment directly energizes the carbonaceous granules A inside the
Further, the
(4) The
(5) The
(6) In the method of assembling the heat treatment apparatus 1 of the present embodiment, the partial cylindrical portions of 3 to 6 are joined. Since the number of joint surfaces is also 3 to 6, the deviation of the joint surfaces can be minimized, the assembled
Further, in the assembly of the
(7) In the method of assembling the heat treatment apparatus 1 of the present embodiment, the
(8) In the method of assembling the heat treatment apparatus 1 of the present embodiment, the
