Description

The present invention relates to exterior parts for vehicles.

Various exterior parts are arranged on the body of the vehicle. Generally, vehicles are used in the open air, and exterior parts for vehicles are exposed to various deterioration factors such as light, water, mud, and stone. Due to these deterioration factors, deterioration may occur in the exterior parts for vehicles. In particular, exterior parts for vehicles such as rocker moldings arranged at the lower part of the vehicle body may be exposed to water when the vehicle is running, or may be hit by pebbles, water, or the like. As a result, the paint on the exterior parts for the vehicle is likely to be peeled off or damaged.

By the way, some exterior parts for vehicles have a raised portion. For example, FIG. 1 of Patent Document 1 introduces a side sill garnish having a protruding portion 11. The side sill garnish (so-called rocker molding) is a member attached to a portion of the body called a side sill or rocker panel located at the lower side. The raised portion of this type of vehicle exterior component is particularly susceptible to the above-mentioned deterioration factors, and the above-mentioned paint peeling or damage is likely to occur.

Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 2003-146147

Depending on the degree of deterioration of the exterior parts for vehicles, it may be difficult to maintain their functions. Therefore, if necessary, it is required to replace the exterior parts for vehicles that have deteriorated due to peeling or damage. Further, even if there is no deterioration, it may be desired to replace the exterior parts for the vehicle for the purpose of decoration.

In recent years, in order to facilitate the attachment work to the vehicle body, it has been promoted to unitize a plurality of exterior parts for vehicles. When replacing a unitized vehicle exterior part, it is necessary to replace the entire unit. However, since the unitized vehicle exterior parts are generally large and multifunctional, the work is complicated and the replacement cost is high. The price is soaring, and the amount of vehicle exterior parts to be discarded becomes bulky. This not only imposes an economic burden on the user, but may also cause a problem that the environmental load when disposing of the exterior parts for the vehicle is large.
For this reason, there is a demand for vehicle exterior parts in which only a part thereof can be replaced and the work at the time of manufacturing or replacement can be easily performed.

The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide an exterior component for a vehicle in which only a part thereof can be replaced and the work at the time of manufacturing or replacement can be easily performed. do.

The vehicle exterior component of the present invention that solves the above problems is
A main body having a general portion having a cover mounting surface and a stepped portion protruding from the cover mounting surface of the general portion and being mounted on the vehicle body.
It has a recess that can accommodate the stepped portion, and includes a cover body that can be attached to the cover mounting surface of the main body.
The main body has a first screw portion and a first stopper portion at the step portion.
The cover body has a second screwed portion and a second stopper portion in the recessed portion.
When the stepped portion is housed in the recess and the first screwed portion and the second screwed portion are screwed by a predetermined amount due to the rotation of the cover body with respect to the main body, the first stopper portion and the second stopper are screwed together. It is an exterior component for a vehicle in which the main body and the cover body are positioned by fitting the portions.

Only a part of the exterior parts for vehicles of the present invention can be replaced, and the work at the time of manufacturing or replacement can be easily performed.

Hereinafter, the vehicle exterior parts of the present invention will be specifically described.
Unless otherwise specified, the numerical range "x to y" described herein includes a lower limit x and an upper limit y. Then, a numerical range can be constructed by arbitrarily combining these upper and lower limit values and the numerical values listed in the embodiment. Further, the numerical value arbitrarily selected from the numerical range can be set as the upper limit value and the lower limit value.

As described above, the conventional exterior parts for vehicles have to be replaced as a whole when they deteriorate.
For example, in the above-mentioned Patent Document 1, the first dividing member which is a raised portion and the second dividing member which is another portion are separately formed, and the first dividing member and the second dividing member are formed separately. The technology for attaching the split members to the vehicle body in a combined state is introduced. When the raised portion of the vehicle exterior part, that is, the first partition member deteriorates, the entire vehicle exterior part is replaced, or the entire vehicle exterior part is once removed from the vehicle body and disassembled. It is necessary to replace only the first dividing member and reattach the entire vehicle exterior parts to the vehicle body. Such a process is complicated, and there is a possibility that the first dividing member, the second dividing member, and the member for connecting them (the clip in the embodiment of Patent Document 1) and the like may be damaged. ..

The inventor of the present invention forms a vehicle exterior part with a main body and a cover body so that only a part of the vehicle exterior part can be replaced, and if necessary, replaces only the cover body. I got the idea.
That is, the inventor of the present invention has formed the exterior parts for a vehicle by dividing them into two members, a main body and a cover body. Of these, the main body is the part that is attached to the vehicle body, and the cover body is the part that is attached to the main body. In the vehicle exterior component of the present invention, a raised portion, that is, a stepped portion is provided on the main body, the stepped portion is covered by a cover body, and the cover body is attached so as to be removable from the main body.
Further, the vehicle exterior component of the present invention employs a method of screwing the cover body into the main body as a method of making the cover body detachable from the main body.

Specifically, the vehicle exterior component of the present invention includes a main body and a cover body.
Among the vehicle exterior parts of the present invention, the main body is a part attached to the vehicle body, and the cover body is a part attached to the main body. When the main body is attached to the vehicle, the cover body is also attached to the vehicle together with the main body.

The main body has a general portion having a cover mounting surface and a stepped portion protruding from the cover mounting surface of the general portion. Further, the main body has a first screw portion and a first stopper portion at the step portion.
On the other hand, the cover body has a recess that can accommodate the stepped portion of the main body, and the recess has a second screw portion and a second stopper portion.
In the cover body of the exterior parts for vehicles of the present invention, the stepped portion of the main body is housed in the recess of the cover body, and the cover body is rotated with respect to the main body so that the second screwed portion provided in the recess is stepped. It is screwed with the first screwed portion provided in the portion. As a result, the cover body in the vehicle exterior component of the present invention is attached to the main body.

By the way, whether or not the cover body is attached at an appropriate position with respect to the main body can be easily visually confirmed by the operator if the first screwed portion and the second screwed portion are exposed. It is thought that it can be done.
However, the first screwed portion and the second screwed portion in the vehicle exterior component of the present invention are screwed at the boundary between the stepped portion and the recess and are hidden between them. In other words, in the vehicle exterior component of the present invention, the attachment portion between the cover body and the main body is hidden between the main body and the cover body. Therefore, in the vehicle exterior parts of the present invention, the mounting portion between the cover body and the main body is very difficult to see, and the operator needs to position the cover body and the main body during the mounting work without any mark. There is. In general, the work of positioning without a mark is very complicated, and there is also a problem that it is difficult to perform positioning with high accuracy.

However, in the vehicle exterior parts of the present invention, when the first screwed portion of the main body and the second screwed portion of the cover body are screwed by a predetermined amount due to the rotation of the cover body, the first stopper portion of the main body and the cover body are screwed together. The second stopper portion of the above is fitted, and the main body and the cover body are positioned. That is, according to the vehicle exterior parts of the present invention, it is possible to position the cover body and the main body with high accuracy and easily without visually observing the mounting portions.

Further, in the vehicle exterior parts of the present invention, since the cover body and the main body are screwed together, the concave portion of the cover body is applied to the stepped portion of the main body, and the cover body is simply rotated with respect to the main body. Therefore, it is possible to easily attach the cover body to the main body.
Further, the work of removing the cover body from the main body can be easily performed because it is only necessary to rotate the cover body in the direction opposite to that at the time of attachment.
Further, the above-mentioned attachment and removal operations can be easily performed even while the main body is attached to the vehicle body.
Therefore, it is said that the vehicle exterior parts of the present invention can replace only a part of the cover body, and further, the work of attaching and detaching the cover body to and from the main body can be easily performed without tools. obtain.

Hereinafter, the vehicle exterior parts of the present invention will be described for each component.

The main body of the vehicle exterior component of the present invention is attached to the vehicle body.
Any method may be adopted for attaching the main body to the vehicle body, and the method may be a method that can be attached to or detached from the vehicle body or a method that cannot be attached to or detached from the vehicle body.
As a specific example, the main body may be attached to the vehicle body using a metal bolt, or the main body may be attached to the vehicle body using a resin clip. In addition, methods such as welding, adhesion, and heat caulking can also be preferably adopted as a method for attaching the main body to the vehicle body.

Since the main body of the vehicle exterior component of the present invention is attached to the vehicle body, it may be said that the main body has an attachment portion to the vehicle body. The mounting portion may have the above-mentioned engaging or fitting structure of bolts and clips, or may be mounting holes and the like for mounting bolts and clips. Further, it may be a softened portion for welding or heat caulking, an adhesive surface for adhesion, or the like.
The main body may have a portion other than the mounting portion and the general portion and the step portion described later.

The main body has a general portion and a step portion. Of these, the general part has a cover mounting surface on which the cover body is mounted. The stepped portion rises from the cover mounting surface of the general portion.
The cover mounting surface may be a flat surface, a curved surface or a bent surface, and the shape thereof is not particularly limited. The main body may further have a portion that rises from the cover mounting surface in addition to the step portion.

Further, as described above, the main body is attached to the vehicle body. Since the cover body is attached to the cover attachment surface, it can be said that the main body is attached to the vehicle body on a surface other than the cover attachment surface. Although it depends on the shape and size of the cover body, it is preferable that the main body is attached to the vehicle body on the surface opposite to the cover mounting surface in order to avoid interference between the vehicle body and the cover body.

The material of the main body is not particularly limited, and various materials such as resin and metal may be used alone or two or more kinds may be used in combination. The main body may be entirely made of a single material, or may have a decorative layer such as painting, printing, or plating on the surface. The material of the cover body is also not particularly limited, and various materials such as resin and metal may be appropriately and appropriately selected in relation to the main body. Since the vehicle exterior parts of the present invention use a replaceable cover body at a portion where deterioration is likely to occur, it is preferable to select resin as the material for both the main body and the cover body.

The stepped portion may have a raised shape, and the shape and size thereof are not particularly limited. As will be described later, the shape of the stepped portion may be appropriately designed in relation to the shape of the concave portion of the cover body.
In addition, since it is covered with a replaceable cover body, the stepped portion is a portion of the exterior parts for the vehicle that is attached to the lower portion of the vehicle body, the vicinity of the tire, the end portion of the exterior parts for the vehicle in the longitudinal direction, etc. It can also be preferably arranged in a particularly vulnerable part of the exterior parts for vehicles.

The main body of the vehicle exterior component of the present invention has a first screwed portion and a first stopper portion at a stepped portion. The first screwed portion and the first stopper portion will be described in detail later.

The cover body in the vehicle exterior component of the present invention is attached to the main body while accommodating the stepped portion of the main body described above in the recess. In other words, the cover body in the vehicle exterior component of the present invention is attached to the main body so as to cover the stepped portion of the main body with its recess. Therefore, the recess of the cover body needs to have a sufficient volume to accommodate the stepped portion of the main body. Further, since the cover body rotates with respect to the main body, the recess needs to have a volume corresponding to the rotation locus of the step portion. The shape of the cover may be any shape and size that satisfy this condition. In order not to make the outer dimensions of the cover body excessive, it is preferable that the outer shape of the stepped portion of the main body has a uniform shape in the circumferential direction about the rotation axis, that is, the axis of the second screwed portion described later. In other words, it is preferable that the outer shape of the stepped portion has a shape in which the cross section in the direction perpendicular to the axis of the second screwed portion is close to a circle. Specifically, the shape of the cross section may be a hexagon or more polygonal shape, an ellipse shape, or a perfect circle shape.

The cover body has a second screw portion and a second stopper portion in the recess.
The second screwed portion is screwed with the first screwed portion of the main body by the rotation of the cover body. Therefore, the second screwed portion and the first screwed portion may have a shape that allows them to be screwed together. That is, the axes of the first screwed portion and the second screwed portion need to be aligned with each other in the mounted state in which the cover body is attached to the main body, and the rest is not particularly limited.

For example, when the first screwed portion is a screw, the second screwed portion may be a screw hole. On the contrary, the first screwed portion may be a screw hole and the second screwed portion may be a screw. In some cases, one of the first screwed portion and the second screwed portion may be a tapping screw, and the other may be a pilot hole before mounting. In this case, as the cover body rotates, threads and threads are formed in the prepared holes. As a result, the first screwed portion and the second screwed portion are screwed together. The screw is also referred to as a male screw, and the screw hole is also referred to as a female screw.

The first screwed portion may be a screw hole that is depressed from the tip of the stepped portion toward the base end, or may be a screw that further protrudes from the tip of the stepped portion. In some cases, a thread or a thread groove may be formed on the outer peripheral wall of the stepped portion, and the outer peripheral wall of the stepped portion may be used as the first screwed portion.
The second screw portion may be a screw that rises from the bottom portion of the recess, that is, the back side toward the opening, that is, the entrance side, or may be a screw hole formed in the bottom wall of the recess. In some cases, a thread or a thread groove may be formed on the inner peripheral wall of the recess, and the inner peripheral wall of the recess may be used as the second screwed portion.

The second stopper portion of the cover body fits with the first stopper portion of the main body when the first screwed portion of the main body and the second screwed portion of the cover body are screwed by a predetermined amount. Therefore, the second stopper portion and the first stopper portion may have a shape that can be fitted to each other. Since the cover body in the vehicle exterior component of the present invention is removable from the main body, the fitting of the first stopper portion and the second stopper portion referred to here seems to be reversibly, that is, releasable. It means that it is fixed to.

As an example, one of the first stopper portion and the second stopper portion may be convex and the other may be concave. In this case, when the cover body is rotated and the first screwed portion and the second screwed portion are screwed at the time of attachment, the second stopper portion approaches the first stopper portion. When the first screwed portion and the second screwed portion are screwed by a predetermined amount, the second stopper portion faces the first stopper portion, and the convex first stopper portion becomes the concave second stopper portion. Get in. As a result, the first stopper portion and the second stopper portion are fitted together.

In this case, when the cover body is replaced, that is, when the cover body is replaced, the cover body is rotated in the direction opposite to that when the cover body is attached to release the screw between the first screwed portion and the second screwed portion. The position of the stopper portion is changed with respect to the first stopper portion. Then, the position of the second stopper portion changes with respect to the first stopper portion in the direction opposite to that at the time of attachment, and the convex first stopper portion escapes from the concave second stopper portion to the outside, and the first stopper The mating between the portion and the second stopper portion is released.

Alternatively, both the first stopper portion and the second stopper portion may be convex. Also in this case, when the cover body is rotated at the time of attachment and the first screwed portion and the second screwed portion are screwed together, the second stopper portion approaches the first stopper portion. When the first screwed portion and the second screwed portion are screwed by a predetermined amount, the convex second stopper portion faces the convex first stopper portion and further gets over the first stopper portion. As a result, the first stopper portion and the second stopper portion are fitted together.
In this case, at the time of replacement, if the cover body is rotated in the direction opposite to that at the time of attachment, the position of the second stopper portion changes with respect to the first stopper portion in the direction opposite to that at the time of attachment, and the cover body gets over the first stopper portion again. .. As a result, the fitting between the first stopper portion and the second stopper portion is released.

Here, the "predetermined amount" at which the first screwed portion and the second screwed portion are screwed together can be appropriately and appropriately set based on a suitable mounting position of the cover body with respect to the main body. The predetermined amount may be, for example, the length of the first screwed portion and the second screwed portion in the axial direction, or may be the rotation speed or rotation angle of the cover body from the start of mounting to the mounting position. There may be.

The position of the first stopper portion with respect to the first screwed portion and the position of the second stopper portion with respect to the second screwed portion allow the first stopper portion and the second stopper portion to be fitted and disengaged as described above. If so, it may be in any position.
For example, the first stopper portion may be oriented in the axial direction of the first screwed portion, or may be oriented in a direction intersecting the axial direction. Similarly, the second stopper portion may be oriented in the axial direction of the second screwed portion, or may be oriented in a direction intersecting the axial direction.
In other words, the first stopper portion may be provided on the end surface of the step portion in the axial direction of the first screwed portion, or may be provided on the peripheral wall centered on the axis. Further, the second stopper portion may be provided on the end surface of the recessed portion in the axial direction of the second screwed portion, or may be provided on the peripheral wall centered on the axis.

In order to easily and precisely position the cover body with respect to the main body, it is preferable that the first stopper portion is provided on the end face of the step portion in the axial direction of the first screwed portion. For the convenience of fitting the second stopper portion with the first stopper portion, in this case, the second stopper portion is provided on the end face of the recess portion in the axial direction of the second screwed portion. Hereinafter, if necessary, the "end face of the first screwed portion in the axial direction of the stepped portion" is simply referred to as the end face of the stepped portion, and the "end face of the recessed portion in the axial direction of the second screwed portion" is simply referred to as the concave portion. It is called the end face of.

For example, when the convex first stopper portion is provided on the end face of the stepped portion and the concave second stopper portion is provided on the end face of the concave portion, the first screwed portion and the second screwed portion are provided. Is screwed, the amount of overlap between the first screwed portion and the second screwed portion in the axial direction increases. Then, the end face of the step portion and the end face of the recess come close to each other, and the first stopper portion on the end face of the step portion and the second stopper portion on the end face of the recess also come close to each other.
When the first screwed portion and the second screwed portion are screwed deeper, the convex first stopper portion is pressed against the end face of the concave portion. When the first screwed portion and the second screwed portion are screwed by a predetermined amount, the convex first stopper portion is fitted into the concave second stopper portion.

At this time, the force acting on the first stopper portion increases as the screwing state of the first screw portion and the second screw portion progresses, and when the first stopper portion is fitted into the second stopper portion, the force suddenly increases. Decrease. Due to the click feeling caused by the sudden decrease in the force acting on the first stopper portion, the operator can connect the cover body and the main body without visually observing the first screw portion and the second screw portion. Can be easily perceived as being positioned in the desired position. This makes it possible to position the cover body very easily and precisely with respect to the main body.

Further, for example, when the convex first stopper portion faces the axial direction of the first screwed portion and the convex second stopper portion faces the axial direction of the second screwed portion, the first stopper portion has a convex shape. The force acting on the 1 stopper portion sharply increases when the second stopper portion gets over the first stopper portion, and then sharply decreases immediately after that. Therefore, in this case, there is an advantage that the click feeling caused by the first stopper portion and the second stopper portion becomes stronger.

In either case, it is preferable that the first stopper portion is in the vicinity of the first screwed portion and the second stopper portion is in the vicinity of the second screwed portion. This is due to the following reasons.

In order to accurately position the cover body with respect to the main body by fitting the first stopper portion and the second stopper portion, the position of the first stopper portion on the main body and the position of the second stopper portion on the cover body are respectively. It is necessary to mold the main body and the cover body with high dimensional accuracy so that the positions are as desired. In the exterior parts for vehicles of the present invention, when the first screwed portion and the second screwed portion are screwed by a predetermined amount, the first stopper portion and the second stopper portion are fitted to each other. The position of the first stopper with respect to the second stopper and the position of the second stopper with respect to the second screw are important.

On the other hand, especially when the main body is made of resin, there is a large variation in external dimensions caused by molding shrinkage. In particular, if the vehicle exterior part of the present invention has a large external dimension such as a rocker molding, the dimensional variation further increases, and in some cases, the position of the first stopper portion with respect to the first screwed portion. May be difficult to control precisely.

However, if the first stopper portion is arranged in the vicinity of the first screwed portion, the actual size of the first stopper portion with respect to the first screwed portion will be the actual size even if the external dimensions of the main body vary slightly during molding. It is unlikely that a big difference will occur. Therefore, in this case, even if the main body is large and the external dimensions thereof vary slightly, it is possible to position the cover body with respect to the main body with high accuracy.

In addition, the above-mentioned "neighborhood" of the first screwed portion specifically means that the radial distance of the first screwed portion from the axis is within the range of 5 mm to 30 mm. As a preferable range of the radial distance from the axis of the first screwed portion to the first stopper portion, each range of 5 mm to 25 mm, 5 mm to 20 mm, and 5 mm to 15 mm can be exemplified.
Similarly, the “neighborhood” of the second screwed portion described above specifically means that the radial distance of the second screwed portion from the axis is within the range of 5 mm to 30 mm. As a preferable range of the radial distance from the axis of the second screwed portion to the second stopper portion, each range of 5 mm to 25 mm, 5 mm to 20 mm, and 5 mm to 15 mm can be exemplified.

(Example 1)
The vehicle exterior part of the first embodiment is a rocker molding.

Further, FIG. 5 schematically shows a state in which the main body and the cover body of the vehicle exterior parts of the first embodiment are cut along the front-rear direction and the inside-out direction.
Hereinafter, the terms "upper, lower, outer, inner, front, and rear" refer to the upper, lower, outer, inner, front, and rear in each figure. The outer-inner direction coincides with the vehicle width direction, and the front-rear direction coincides with the vehicle traveling direction.

First, the structure of the vehicle exterior parts of the first embodiment will be described.
As shown in FIG. 1, the vehicle exterior component 1 of the first embodiment is attached between the front wheels 102 and the rear wheels 103 at the lower part of the vehicle body 101 of the vehicle 100.
The vehicle exterior component 1 of the first embodiment has a main body 2 extending in the front-rear direction and a cover body 3 attached to both ends of the main body 2 in the longitudinal direction. The main body 2 and the cover body 3 are each made of resin.

Specifically, as shown in FIGS. 2 to 5, the main body 2 in the vehicle exterior component 1 of the first embodiment has a general portion 20, a step portion 21, a first screw portion 22, and a first stopper portion 23.
The general portion 20 has a long plate shape extending in the front-rear direction, with the cover mounting surface 20f, which is one surface, facing outward, and the vehicle body mounting surface 20b (see FIG. 4) facing back to the cover mounting surface 20f inward. Turn.
The general portion 20 further has a clip-shaped mounting portion (not shown) on the vehicle body mounting surface 20b. The vehicle exterior component 1 of the first embodiment is attached to the vehicle body 101 by fitting the attachment portion to the illustrated mounting seat provided on the vehicle body 101.

Both end portions 20e in the longitudinal direction of the general portion 20 are slightly raised outward. The stepped portion 21 is further raised outward from the cover mounting surface 20f at each of the raised both end portions 20e. Therefore, the main body 2 in the vehicle exterior component 1 of the first embodiment has one general portion 20 and two stepped portions 21.

Further, the main body 2 of the vehicle exterior component 1 of the first embodiment has a first screwed portion 22 and a first stopper portion 23 at each of the two stepped portions 21.

As shown in FIG. 3, the step portion 21 has a substantially truncated cone shape, and as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the inside 21i thereof is hollow. As shown in FIGS. 3 to 5, the step portion 21 has a first screw portion 22 and a first stopper portion 23. The first screwed portion 22 is a screw hole that is recessed from the outside to the inside from the tip end to the base end in the stepped portion 21.

The first stopper portion 23 has a concave shape and is provided in the vicinity of the first screw portion 22 on the top surface 21t located at the tip of the step portion 21. The top surface 21t can be said to be the end surface of the stepped portion 21 in the axial direction of the first screwed portion 22.
Here, when the cover body and the main body are attached, the axis of the first screwed portion 22 and the axis of the second screwed portion 32 coincide with each other. The axis is shown by the alternate long and short dash line La in FIGS. 3 and 4.

The depression depth of the first stopper portion 23 gradually increases from the front side to the rear side in the rotation direction of the cover body 3 at the time of attachment. The rotation direction is the counterclockwise direction shown in FIG. Hereinafter, if necessary, the "rotational direction of the cover body 3 at the time of attachment" may be referred to as a forward rotation direction.

As shown in the enlarged portion of FIG. 4, of the groove wall surface of the first stopper portion 23, the first tip surface 23f located on the front side in the forward rotation direction is in the forward rotation direction from the front side and the outside in the normal rotation direction. It is an inclined surface that inclines toward the rear and inward. Further, among the groove wall surfaces of the first stopper portion 23, the first rear end surface 23r located on the rear side in the forward rotation direction has a vertical wall shape extending substantially parallel to the axial direction of the first screwed portion 22.

As shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, the cover body 3 has a substantially trapezoidal columnar shape on the side surface and has a recess 31 that opens inward. Further, the cover body 3 has a second screwed portion 32 that is screwed with the first screwed portion 22 of the main body 2, and a second stopper portion 33 that is fitted with the first stopper portion 23 of the main body 2.

As shown in FIG. 4, the second screw portion 32 is a screw that projects from the outside to the inside from the bottom surface 31b of the recess 31 in the cover body 3 toward the opening 31o.
The second stopper portion 33 has a convex shape and is provided on the bottom surface 31b of the recess 31 in the vicinity of the second screwed portion 32. The bottom surface 31b can be said to be the end surface of the recess 31 in the axial direction of the second screwed portion 32.

As shown in the enlarged portion of FIG. 4, the protruding height of the second stopper portion 33 gradually increases from the front side to the rear side in the forward rotation direction. Of the side wall surfaces of the second stopper 33, the second tip surface 33f located on the front side in the forward rotation direction is inclined from the front side and the outside in the forward rotation direction to the rear side and the inside in the forward rotation direction. It is a face. Further, of the side wall surfaces of the second stopper portion 33, the second rear end surface 33r located on the rear side in the forward rotation direction has a vertical wall shape extending substantially parallel to the axial direction of the second screwed portion 32.

For reference, in the vehicle exterior component 1 of the first embodiment, the distance from the axis of the first screwed portion 22 to the first stopper portion 23, and the distance from the axis of the second screwed portion 32 to the second stopper portion 33. The distances are about 10 mm each.

The operation of attaching and detaching the cover body 3 in the vehicle exterior component 1 of the first embodiment to and from the main body 2 will be described below.

First, when the cover body 3 is attached to the main body 2, as shown in FIGS. 3 to 4, the operator faces the recess 31 facing the step portion 21 while directing the opening 31o of the recess 31 toward the main body 2. The cover body 3 is applied to the main body 2 so as to do so. While inserting the second screwed portion 32 of the cover body 3 into the first screwed portion 22 of the main body 2, the cover body 3 is rotated in the counterclockwise direction in FIG. The two screwed portions 32 are screwed together, the cover body 3 advances toward the main body 2 in the axial direction of the first screwed portion 22 and the second screwed portion 32, and the cover mounting surface of the general portion 20 of the main body 2 The distance between the 20f and the cover body 3 gradually narrows.

At this time, the second stopper portion 33 changes its position substantially in the circumferential direction about the axial direction of the second screwed portion 32, and the first stopper portion 33 in the axial direction of the first screwed portion 22 and the second screwed portion 32. Gradually approach part 23. Similarly, the second stopper portion 33 gradually approaches and abuts on the top surface 21t of the step portion 21 in the axial direction of the first screw portion 22 and the second screw portion 32.

Further, when the cover body 3 is rotated in the forward direction, the second stopper portion 33 of the cover body 3 comes into pressure contact with the top surface 21t of the main body 2. The force acting on the second stopper portion 33 by pressure contact with the top surface 21t increases with the forward rotation of the cover body 3. When the amount of screwing between the first screwed portion 22 and the second screwed portion 32 reaches a predetermined predetermined amount due to the forward rotation of the cover body 3, the second stopper portion 33 faces the first stopper portion 23. It fits into the first stopper portion 23.

When the second stopper portion 33 is fitted into the first stopper portion 23, the first tip surface 23f of the first stopper portion 23 faces the second tip surface 33f of the second stopper portion 33 on the front side in the forward rotation direction. do. Therefore, the first stopper portion 23 and the second stopper portion 33 are fitted in the forward rotation direction, and further forward rotation of the cover body 3 is hindered. As a result, the cover body 3 and the main body 2 are positioned.

At this time, the first rear end surface 23r of the first stopper portion 23 faces the second rear end surface 33r of the second stopper portion 33 on the rear side in the forward rotation direction, that is, on the front side in the clockwise direction of the cover body 3. .. Therefore, the first stopper portion 23 and the second stopper portion 33 are fitted in the rotation direction opposite to the forward rotation, that is, in the reverse rotation direction, and the reverse rotation of the cover body 3 is hindered. As a result, the cover body 3 is positioned with respect to the main body 2 in both the forward rotation direction, which is the rotation direction at the time of attachment, and the reverse rotation direction, which is the rotation direction at the time of removal.

In the vehicle exterior component 1 of the first embodiment, the cover body 3 is positioned with respect to the main body 2 in both the forward rotation direction and the reverse rotation direction in this way, so that the cover body 3 is positioned with respect to the main body 2. Not only can it be positioned precisely, but it also has the advantage of being able to suppress loosening and disengagement of the cover body 3 with respect to the main body 2.

Here, as described above, the protruding height of the second stopper portion 33 gradually increases from the front side to the rear side in the forward rotation direction of the cover body 3. Further, the second rear end surface 33r of the second stopper portion 33 has a vertical wall shape extending substantially parallel to the axial direction of the second screwed portion 32. Therefore, the load acting on the second stopper portion 33 increases relatively gently before the second stopper portion 33 fits into the first stopper portion 23 at the time of attachment, and the second stopper portion 33 becomes the first. When it is fitted into the stopper portion 23, it decreases sharply. The tapping sound and impact generated at this time allow the operator to perceive a clear click feeling. As a result, the operator can easily perceive that the cover body 3 is positioned at the correct position with respect to the main body 2 without visually observing the first screwed portion 22 and the second screwed portion 32.

In the vehicle exterior component 1 of the first embodiment, since the second rear end surface 33r of the second stopper portion 33 has a vertical wall shape, the load acting on the second stopper portion 33 at the time of attachment is sharply reduced. Therefore, at the time of attachment, there is almost no time lag from the time when the first screwed portion 22 and the second screwed portion 32 are screwed by a predetermined amount to the time when the operator perceives a click feeling. As a result, the vehicle exterior parts of the first embodiment have an advantage that the work efficiency at the time of mounting is improved.

When the cover body 3 of the vehicle exterior component 1 of the first embodiment is removed from the main body 2, the cover body 3 is rotated in the reverse rotation direction, that is, in the clockwise direction in FIG. The screw with the second screw portion 32 is released.

As described above, in the vehicle exterior parts of the first embodiment, the first rear end surface 23r of the first stopper portion 23 and the second rear end surface 33r of the second stopper portion 33 are fitted to each other to form the cover body 3. Inhibits reverse rotation. However, by rotating the cover body 3 in the reverse direction, a force acting on the second stopper portion 33 in a direction away from the first stopper portion 23 in the axial direction of the first screw portion 22 and the second screw portion 32. Therefore, when the cover body 3 is strongly rotated in the reverse direction, the second rear end surface 33r of the second stopper portion 33 gets over the first rear end surface 23r of the first stopper portion 23, and the first stopper portion 23 and the second stopper portion 33 The mating with is released.
When the cover body 3 is further rotated in the reverse direction, the screwing between the first screwed portion 22 and the second screwed portion 32 is released, and the cover body 3 is detached from the main body 2.
After that, when the new cover body 3 is attached to the main body 2, the above-mentioned operation at the time of attachment may be performed.

In the vehicle exterior component 1 of the first embodiment, the cover body 3 can be attached to or removed from the main body 2 simply by rotating the cover body 3. Therefore, the cover body 3 can be easily attached to the main body 2 without tools or jigs even before the main body 2 is attached to the vehicle body 101 or after the main body 2 is attached to the vehicle body 101. Moreover, the cover body 3 can be easily removed from the main body 2.

(Example 2)
The vehicle exterior parts of the second embodiment are different from the vehicle exterior parts of the first embodiment in the shapes of the stepped portion, the first screwed portion, the first stopper portion, the second screwed portion, and the second stopper portion. Is substantially the same as the vehicle exterior parts of the first embodiment. Therefore, the vehicle exterior parts of the second embodiment will be described below, focusing on the differences from the first embodiment.
6 and 7 are explanatory views for explaining the vehicle exterior parts of the second embodiment. Of these, FIG. 6 schematically shows a state in which the cover body is attached to the main body, and FIG. 7 schematically shows a state before the cover body is attached to the main body. Further, FIGS. 6 and 7 schematically show a state in which the main body and the cover body of the vehicle exterior parts of the second embodiment are cut at the same positions as those in FIG.

As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the stepped portion 21 in the vehicle exterior component 1 of the second embodiment rises from the cover mounting surface 20f of the main body 2 in the same manner as the stepped portion in the vehicle exterior component of the first embodiment. However, the height of the ridge, that is, the height in the inside-out direction is slightly lower than that of the stepped portion in the vehicle exterior component of the first embodiment. Instead, a first screwed portion 22 and a first stopper portion 23 extending outward are formed on the top surface 21t of the stepped portion 21 in the vehicle exterior component 1 of the second embodiment. The first screwed portion 22 has a screw shape extending in the inward-outward direction, and further extends outward from the top surface 21t. The first stopper portion 23 also has a convex shape that projects further outward from the top surface 21t of the step portion 21. The tip of the first stopper 23 has a gentle curved surface with no corners.

Further, the vehicle exterior component 1 of the second embodiment has a protrusion 35 protruding from the outside to the inside from the bottom surface 31b of the recess 31 in the cover body 3 toward the opening 31o. The protrusion 35 is provided with a second screwed portion 32 and a second stopper portion 33.
The second screwed portion 32 is a screw hole that is recessed from the inside to the outside from the tip end to the base end of the protrusion 35. Further, the second stopper portion 33 also has a concave shape that is depressed from the inside to the outside from the tip end of the protrusion 35 toward the base end.

In the vehicle exterior component 1 of the second embodiment, the first screwed portion 22 has a screw shape and the second screwed portion 32 has a screw hole shape, and the first stopper portion 23 has a convex shape and the second stopper portion. It is significantly different from the vehicle exterior parts of the first embodiment in that 33 has a concave shape. However, also in the vehicle exterior component 1 of the second embodiment, as in the vehicle exterior component of the first embodiment, the first screwed portion 22 and the second screwed portion 32 are brought together by the rotation of the cover body 3 with respect to the main body 2. Screw in. Further, when the first screwed portion 22 and the second screwed portion 32 are screwed by a predetermined amount, the first stopper portion 23 and the second stopper portion 33 are fitted and the main body 2 and the cover body 3 are positioned. NS.

Therefore, also in the vehicle exterior component 1 of the second embodiment, as in the vehicle exterior component of the first embodiment, the cover body 2 is covered with the main body 2 by simply rotating the cover body 3 without the need for tools or jigs. 3 can be easily attached and detached, and the cover body 3 can be replaced while the main body 2 is attached to the vehicle body 101. Further, similarly to the vehicle exterior parts of the first embodiment, the vehicle exterior parts 1 of the second embodiment can easily position the cover body 3 with respect to the main body 2 without visual inspection.

The present invention is not limited to the embodiment described above and shown in the drawings, and can be appropriately modified and implemented without departing from the gist. In addition, each component shown in the present specification including the embodiment can be arbitrarily extracted and combined.
