Abstract
Description
Claims (20)
- 医療処置中にユーザによって使用されるように構成された多目的医療機器であって、
ハンドルと、
前記ハンドルに動作可能に結合された本体であって、前記本体の長さ方向に延在する中空部を有し、前記本体の少なくとも一部は前記医療処置中にレトラクタとして動作するように構成されている本体と、
前記中空部内に配された吸引通路を有する吸引システムと、
前記本体に結合されており前記医療処置中に前記本体にかかる退避力をセンシングするように構成されたセンサと、
センシングされた前記退避力に基づいて前記ユーザへフィードバックを提供するように構成された指示部と、
を備えていることを特徴とする多目的医療機器。 - 前記指示部は、視覚的指示部と、触覚的指示部と、聴覚的指示部と、のうち少なくとも1つを含む、
請求項1記載の機器。 - 前記指示部は、前記センサによってセンシングされた退避力のレベルに基づいて異なるフィードバックを前記ユーザに提供するように構成されている、
請求項1記載の機器。 - 前記指示部は、約0.3N〜約1.5Nの退避力が検出された場合、前記ユーザにフィードバックを提供するように構成されている、
請求項1記載の機器。 - 前記センサは、前記本体に結合された圧力センサを備えている、
請求項1記載の機器。 - 前記圧力センサは、前記本体に沿った曲げ力をセンシングするように構成された単軸ストレインゲージを含む、
請求項5記載の機器。 - 前記圧力センサは、前記本体に沿った曲げ力及び剪断力をセンシングするように構成されたロゼットゲージを含む、
請求項5記載の機器。 - 前記圧力センサは、直線に並んだ一対のストレインゲージであって、前記本体の遠位端からそれぞれ異なる距離に配置された一対のストレインゲージを備えている、
請求項5記載の機器。 - 前記本体は、実質的に直線状の形態と、少なくとも一部が前記ハンドルを基準として角を成す形態と、のうち1つの形態を有する、
請求項1記載の機器。 - 前記吸引システムはさらに、前記ハンドルの少なくとも一部を貫通するように設けられた吸引制御開口を有し、
前記吸引制御開口は、前記吸引通路と動作可能に流体連通していると共に、前記吸引通路を介して供給される吸引を制御するように構成されている、
請求項1記載の機器。 - 前記機器はさらに、前記センサと通信するコンピュータシステムを備えており、
前記コンピュータシステムは、センシングされた前記退避力に関するデータを前記センサから受け取るように構成されている、
請求項1記載の機器。 - 前記本体はさらに、刺激システムと、照明システムと、洗浄システムと、のうちいずれか1つの少なくとも一部を支持する、
請求項1記載の機器。 - 前記刺激システムは、少なくとも一部が前記中空部内に配置された刺激路と、前記本体の遠位端に配置された刺激先端と、を備えており、
前記刺激先端は、前記医療処置中に組織に電流を供給するように構成されている、
請求項12記載の機器。 - 前記本体は、約2mm〜約5mmの外径を有する、
請求項1記載の機器。 - 術野内で外科的処置を行う方法であって、
レトラクタとして動作するように構成された本体と、中空部を包含する前記本体の内表面と、少なくとも一部が前記中空部内に配された吸引システムと、少なくとも一部が前記本体により支持されるセンシングシステムと、を備えた多目的医療機器を準備するステップと、
前記術野内に前記機器を配置するステップと、
前記機器を使用して前記術野内の1つ又は複数の組織を退避するステップと、
退避中に前記センシングシステムのセンサを用いて前記機器にかかる力をセンシングするステップと、
センシングされた前記力が所定の閾値を超える場合、前記センシングシステムの指示部を介して指示を提供するステップと、
を有することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記機器はさらに、少なくとも一部が前記中空部内に配置された刺激システムを備えており、
前記方法はさらに、前記刺激システムを介して電流を供給することにより前記術野内の1つ又は複数の神経までの近接度を評価するステップを有する、
請求項15記載の方法。 - 前記機器はさらに、少なくとも一部が前記中空部内に配置された洗浄システムを備えており、
前記方法はさらに、前記洗浄システムを用いて前記術野の少なくとも一部を洗浄するステップを有する、
請求項15記載の方法。 - 前記方法はさらに、前記本体により支持される膨張可能部材を用いて前記術野内の1つ又は複数の組織を退避することを有する、
請求項15記載の方法。 - センシングされた前記力が前記所定の閾値を超える場合に前記指示を提供するステップは、聴覚的指示と、視覚的指示と、触覚的指示と、のうち少なくとも1つを提供することを含む、
請求項15記載の方法。 - 前記医療処置は、末梢神経手術と、脊髄手術と、頭部手術とから成る群から選択されたものである、
