Description
Claims (20)
- 複数の副画素をそれぞれ含む複数の画素を含む表示領域を含む電子ディスプレイと、
前記電子ディスプレイに結合されたディスプレイパイプラインであって、前記ディスプレイパイプラインが、
画像データを受信し、
前記画像データに対して白色点補償を実行して、前記ディスプレイ内の電流降下を補償し、白色を表示するときに、前記ディスプレイに目標白色点を表示させ、
前記画像データに対する白色点過補償を補正して、前記白色点補償を使用して非白色画素の潜在的過飽和を低減し、
前記補償されかつ補正された画像データを前記電子ディスプレイに出力して、前記表示領域上に前記補償されかつ補正された画像データを表示することを容易にする、
ように構成された、ディスプレイパイプラインと、
を備える、電子デバイス。 - 前記ディスプレイパイプラインが多次元ルックアップテーブルを含み、前記白色点過補償を補正することが、前記電子ディスプレイに対して決定された色過補償補正値に少なくとも部分的に基づいて、前記多次元ルックアップテーブル内の値をルックアップすることを含む、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記多次元ルックアップテーブルが、前記複数の画素の各画素に対応する前記副画素の数に等しい次元数を含む、請求項2に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記多次元ルックアップテーブルが、前記複数の副画素間のクロストークを補償するように、クロストーク補償に基づいてデータ投入されている、請求項2に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記複数の副画素の第1の副画素に対する前記クロストーク補償が、前記複数の副画素の他の副画素の駆動レベルに少なくとも部分的に基づく、請求項4に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記電流降下が、電源と前記表示領域との間の抵抗に基づく副画素を通る低減した電流を含む、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記白色点過補償を補正することが、前記白色点補償を実行する前に前記白色点補償を予め補正することを含む、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。
- 電子ディスプレイ内の複数の発光素子を駆動するためのビデオデータのフレームを受信することと、
ビデオデータの前記フレームの補償情報を受信することと、
多次元ルックアップテーブル内で、ビデオデータの前記フレームに対応する発光素子に対する変換された駆動値をルックアップすることであって、前記変換された駆動値が、前記複数の発光素子の他の発光素子に対する前記フレーム内の値に少なくとも部分的に基づいてルックアップされる、ことと、
前記発光素子を前記変換された駆動値に駆動することと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記複数の発光素子間のクロストークを補償するように、前記多次元ルックアップテーブルにデータ投入することを含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記多次元ルックアップテーブルにデータ投入することが、
前記電子ディスプレイの複数の輝度レベルに対する前記多次元ルックアップテーブルの値を測定することと、
前記電子ディスプレイの測定された色から所与の目標へのマッピングを計算することと、
前記電子ディスプレイのグレーレベルに対して線形マッピングを設定することと、
前記電子ディスプレイに対する前記多次元ルックアップテーブルの完全性をチェックすることと、
を含む、請求項9に記載の方法。 - 前記多次元ルックアップテーブルにデータ投入することが、複数の電子ディスプレイからの多次元ルックアップテーブルを平均化することを含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記グレーレベルが、青色画素値に等しい緑色画素値に等しい赤色画素値を含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記補償情報が、ビデオデータの前記フレーム内の非白色画像値の過飽和を補正する白色点補償補正を含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記補償情報が、環境光に基づいてビデオデータの前記フレームの表示階調を補償する階調補償を含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記階調補償が、前記環境光の階調に少なくとも部分的に基づいてビデオデータの前記フレームの前記表示階調を調整する補償を含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記階調補償が、ビデオデータの前記フレームの前記表示階調内の青色光を低減する補償を含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 電子デバイスであって、
ディスプレイパイプラインであって、
入力画像データを受信するように構成されたカラーマネージャであって、前記カラーマネージャが、前記入力画像データを変換された画像データに変換するように構成された多次元カラールックアップテーブルを含む、カラーマネージャと、
前記変換された画像データ内で前記電子デバイス内の電流降下を補償することによって、白色値に対する目標白色点を生成するように構成された白色点補償回路であって、前記ディスプレイパイプラインが、前記白色点補償回路による非白色画素の過補償を補正するように構成されている、白色点補償回路と、
を含む、ディスプレイパイプライン、
を備える、電子デバイス。 - 非白色画素の過補償の補正が、前記多次元カラールックアップテーブル内で実行され、前記多次元カラールックアップテーブルが、階調補償設定及び線形アクセシビリティフィルタに少なくとも部分的に基づいて投入された値を含み、前記階調補償設定又は前記線形アクセシビリティフィルタを変更することが、前記投入された値の再計算を生じさせる、請求項17に記載の電子デバイス。
- 非白色画素の過補償の補正が、前記多次元カラールックアップテーブル内で実行され、非白色画素の過補償の前記補正が実行された後に、前記白色点補償回路内で階調補償が実行される、請求項17に記載の電子デバイス。
- 階調補償モードが、前記白色点補償回路内で環境光に関連する階調を補償するように設定されていない場合に、前記多次元カラールックアップテーブル内で非白色画素の過補償の補正が実行される、請求項17に記載の電子デバイス。
