Abstract
Description
Claims (13)
- 移動体通信システムネットワークを用いてコアネットワークへの接続を確立し、かつ前記移動体通信システムネットワーク以外のネットワークを介して前記コアネットワークへの接続を確立することが可能なユーザ機器(UE)装置と前記コアネットワークとの接続を管理する方法であって、
前記移動体通信システムネットワーク以外のネットワークを介して、前記コアネットワークへの第1の接続の確立を完了する段階と、前記移動体通信システムの基地局から、前記移動体通信システムネットワーク以外のネットワークを介して、前記基地局への第2の接続を確立する要求を受信したことに応答して、前記第1の接続の一時停止を前記コアネットワークに通知する段階と、前記第1の接続を将来再開するために、前記第1の接続のコンテキスト情報を記憶する段階とを備える、方法。 - 前記UE装置は、前記第1の接続を将来再開するために、前記第1の接続のコンテキスト情報を記憶する間、前記基地局を介して前記コアネットワークと通信する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記基地局からの前記要求は、構成メッセージである、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記通知する段階は、前記第1の接続を通じて実行される、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記通知する段階は、移動体通信接続を通じて実行される、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記UE装置は、前記コンテキスト情報としてIPsecコンテキスト情報を記憶する、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の接続は、信号レベルの測定結果に基づいて、または前記基地局からの要求に応答して、前記UE装置によって自律的にリリースされてよい、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の接続が、前記第2の接続をリリースした後に再確立されることができない場合、前記UE装置は、前記コアネットワークに情報を提供して前記移動体通信システムを介して前記第1の接続をリリースする、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記コンテキスト情報は、予め定められた時間記憶され、前記一時停止が前記予め定められた時間を超えた場合に削除される、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- ユーザ機器(UE)装置との接続を管理する移動体通信システムネットワークのコアネットワークのエンティティにおける方法であって、
前記移動体通信システムネットワークは、
前記移動体通信システムネットワークを介して、前記UE装置と前記コアネットワークとの第1の接続を確立する基地局と、
前記移動体通信システムネットワーク以外のネットワークを介して、前記UE装置と前記コアネットワークとの第2の接続を確立するインターワーキング機能と
を備え、
前記方法は、
前記インターワーキング機能を介して、前記UE装置との前記第2の接続を確立する段階と、
前記UE装置からメッセージを受信したことに応答して、前記インターワーキング機能を介した前記第2の接続を一時停止する一方で、前記第1の接続を介して前記UE装置と通信しながら、前記第2の接続の再開を延期する前記第2の接続のコンテキスト情報を記憶する段階とを備える、方法。 - 前記移動体通信システムネットワークは、
前記インターワーキング機能を介した前記UE装置との前記第2の接続を有する間、前記第2の接続を維持するためのキープアライブメッセージを定期的に送信し、
前記インターワーキング機能を介した前記UE装置との前記第2の接続を停止させている間、前記キープアライブメッセージを送信することをやめる、請求項10に記載の方法。 - 前記コンテキスト情報は、前記第2の接続が再開しないということを示す前記UE装置からのメッセージを受信したことに応答して、削除される、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記コンテキスト情報は、前記第2の接続が再開しない場合、予め定められた時間の後に削除される、請求項11に記載の方法。
