Abstract
Description
Claims (11)
- ビデオ信号を復号する方法であって、
前記ビデオ信号に対してエントロピデコーディングを行うことによって、量子化された変換ブロックを生成するステップと、
前記量子化された変換ブロックに対して逆量子化を行うことによって、逆量子化された変換ブロックを生成するステップと、
前記逆量子化された変換ブロック内の0でない係数(non-zero coefficient)に関連する情報に基づいて、二次逆変換(secondary inverse transform)を適用するか否かを決定するステップと、
前記逆量子化された変換ブロックに適用される二次逆変換カーネル(secondary inverse transform kernel)を用いて、前記逆量子化された変換ブロックに対して二次逆変換を行うステップと、を有する、ビデオ信号復号方法。 - 前記二次逆変換を適用するか否かを決定するステップは、
前記逆量子化された変換ブロックの左上側の特定領域に0でない係数が1つ又は複数存在するか否かを確認するステップを有し、
前記特定領域に0でない係数が1つ又は複数存在する場合、前記逆量子化された変換ブロックに二次逆変換が適用される、請求項1に記載のビデオ信号復号方法。 - 前記二次逆変換を適用するか否かを決定するステップは、
前記逆量子化された変換ブロックの左上側の特定領域内の0でない係数の個数を確認するステップを有し、
前記特定領域内の0でない係数の個数が特定しきい値(threshold)を超える場合、前記逆量子化された変換ブロックに二次逆変換が適用される、請求項1に記載のビデオ信号復号方法。 - 前記二次逆変換を適用するか否かを決定するステップは、
前記逆量子化された変換ブロックを特定サイズのサブブロックに分割するステップと、
前記サブブロック単位で二次逆変換を適用するか否かを決定するステップと、を有する、請求項1に記載のビデオ信号復号方法。 - 前記サブブロック単位で二次逆変換を適用するか否かを決定するステップは、
現在サブブロックに0でない係数が1つ又は複数存在するか否かを確認するステップを有し、
前記現在サブブロックに0でない係数が1つ又は複数存在する場合、前記現在サブブロックに二次逆変換が適用される、請求項4に記載のビデオ信号復号方法。 - 前記サブブロック単位で二次逆変換を適用するか否かを決定するステップは、
現在サブブロック内の0でない係数の個数を確認するステップを有し、
前記現在サブブロック内の0でない係数の個数が特定しきい値(threshold)を超える場合、前記現在サブブロックに二次逆変換が適用される、請求項4に記載のビデオ信号復号方法。 - 前記逆量子化された変換ブロック内の0でない係数に関連する情報に基づいて、前記逆量子化された変換ブロックに適用される二次逆変換カーネルのサイズを決定するステップをさらに有する、請求項1に記載のビデオ信号復号方法。
- 前記二次逆変換カーネルのサイズは、前記逆量子化された変換ブロックの左上側の特定サイズの領域内に存在する0でない係数を有する二次逆変換カーネルのうち、最も小さい二次逆変換カーネルのサイズに決定される、請求項7に記載のビデオ信号復号方法。
- 前記逆量子化された変換ブロックのサイズが既に設定された最小サイズのブロックより大きい場合、前記ビデオ信号から前記二次逆変換カーネルのサイズを指示するシンタックス(syntax)を抽出するステップと、
前記シンタックスに基づいて、前記逆量子化された変換ブロックに適用される二次逆変換カーネルのサイズを決定するステップと、をさらに有する、請求項1に記載のビデオ信号復号方法。 - 前記二次逆変換カーネルのサイズを指示するシンタックスは、シーケンス(sequence)、ピクチャ(picture)、スライス(slice)、コーディングブロック(coding block)、又は変換ブロック(transform block)単位で送信される、請求項9に記載のビデオ信号復号方法。
- ビデオ信号を復号する装置であって、
前記ビデオ信号に対してエントロピデコーディングを行うことによって、量子化された変換ブロックを生成するエントロピデコード部と、
前記量子化された変換ブロックに対して逆量子化を行うことによって、逆量子化された変換ブロックを生成する逆量子化部と、
前記逆量子化された変換ブロック内の0でない係数(non-zero coefficient)に関連する情報に基づいて、二次逆変換(secondary inverse transform)を適用するか否かを決定する二次逆変換決定部と、
前記逆量子化された変換ブロックに適用される二次逆変換カーネル(secondary inverse transform kernel)を用いて、前記逆量子化された変換ブロックに対して二次逆変換を行う二次逆変換部と、を有する、ビデオ信号復号装置。
