Abstract

To provide a washbowl which can be disposed vertically to facilitate water discharge and which can be stored hygienically in order to solve the problem that it is unsanitary because of insufficient drying of an inner surface.SOLUTION: A circular part 1 and a flat surface part 2 are disposed on a side surface of a washbowl. Three legs 4 and 5 are disposed on the flat surface part so as to stabilize a vertical placement. Lengths of the legs are designed to achieve a complete discharge in the washbowl. 従来の洗面器は通常の横置きの安定した状態で保管すれば、洗面器内の水分が底に溜まってしまい衛生的ではない。また、水切りのために壁面に立てかけておいても接地面が円形のために不安定で排水が不十分である。
洗面器の利便性を高めて直線部を設けた洗面器（非特許文献１参照）であっても、内部に水が溜まるので衛生上の問題は解決されていない。
