Description

The present invention relates to a front grill having a structure in which a large number of crosspiece members intersecting each other in a front view and a large number of recessed portions recessed toward the back side are formed in a portion surrounded by the crosspiece members.

As described above, as a front grill having a structure in which a large number of recessed portions recessed toward the back side are formed in a portion surrounded by the crosspiece members, the back side of the grid-like frame portion where the vertical rail and the horizontal rail intersect. There is a structure in which plate-shaped perforated members are attached at predetermined intervals via spacers (see Patent Document 1).

3)JP-A-2002-68018 (paragraphs "0011" and "0012", FIGS. 1 to 3)

According to the prior art shown in the above patent document, a plate-shaped porous member is attached to the bottom surface side of the recessed portion of the portion surrounded by the crosspiece members of the front grill. As described above, according to the structure in which the plate-shaped perforated member is attached to the bottom surface side of the recessed portion, the recessed portion is easily recognized as a deep and good-looking structure when the front grill is viewed from the front side. ..
However, if a non-perforated flat plate is attached to the bottom surface of the recessed part in a part where ventilation is not required, the bottom has a small depth in front view unless the depth of the recessed part is considerably deepened. It is easy to recognize that it is a shallow recessed part, and there is a risk that it lacks a profound feeling and the appearance deteriorates. There is room for improvement in this regard.

The present invention aims to improve the appearance of the recessed portion of the front grill even in the recessed portion of the portion surrounded by the crosspiece members of the front grill, which does not require ventilation, by devising a simple structure. It is something to do.

A feature of the front grille in the present invention is that, in front view, a large number of crosspiece members intersecting each other are provided, and a large number of recessed portions recessed toward the back side are formed in a portion surrounded by the crosspiece members. Of these, the recessed portion formed in a portion where ventilation is not required is provided with a bottom surface portion located on the back surface side of the front end edge of the crosspiece member, and the bottom surface portion is the most of the bottom surface portion. This is a point where a small convex portion is formed so as to project toward the front side from the back portion.

According to the present invention, a small convex portion is formed on the bottom surface portion of the recessed portion formed in a portion where ventilation is not required so as to project toward the front side from the innermost portion of the bottom surface portion. For this reason, compared to a simple flat bottom surface portion, most of the incident light from the front side with respect to the recessed portion is reflected by the small convex portion of the bottom surface portion and diffused to the periphery, reducing the amount of light reflected toward the front surface. easy.
Therefore, when the front grill is viewed from the front side, the recessed portion is easily recognized as a deep and good-looking structure for the recessed depth of the recessed portion.

In the above configuration, it is preferable that a plurality of the small convex portions are formed in one of the recessed portions.

According to this configuration, the incident light is more likely to be diffused more effectively than when the small convex portion is single.

In the above configuration, it is preferable that the small convex portion includes an inclined surface that intersects the incident light from the front at an angle.

According to this configuration, since the inclined surface that intersects the incident light from the front diagonally is provided, it is easy to more reliably reduce the amount of the reflected light to the front.

[Structure of driving part]
The driving unit 4 is provided in the lower rear portion of the driver's seat 5. A water-cooled engine 40 and a transmission case 41 are distributed to the left and right in the driving unit 4. Therefore, the front-rear length of the driving unit 4 is shortened as compared with the case where these are arranged in the front-rear direction. The output from the transmission case 41 is configured to be transmitted to the left and right rear wheels 12 and the front wheels 11.

In the prime mover 4, the water-cooled engine 40 is located on the left side in a horizontal position with the crankshaft axis aligned in the left-right direction of the machine body, and the transmission case 41 is placed side by side on the right side. The water-cooled engine 40 and the transmission case 41 are arranged on the rear side of the body of the fuel tank 54 and the radiator 2 within the left-right spacing width in a plan view.

〔bonnet〕
A bonnet 3 is provided at the front end of the vehicle body frame 1.
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, the bonnet 3 is supported by the lower bonnet 3A fixed to the vehicle body frame 1 and the lower bonnet 3A on the rear end side, and swings around the horizontal axis (not shown). It is equipped with an upper bonnet 3B that moves and is attached so that the front end side can be swung upward and closed.
A pair of left and right headlights 30 and 30 are provided on both the left and right sides of the upper bonnet 3B, and a front grill 31 is provided at the front end portion, and these are integrally provided as the upper bonnet 3B swings. It is installed so that it can swing up and down.

[Front grill]
As shown in FIG. 4, the front grill 31 is arranged in a state in which a large number of vertical rails 32 (corresponding to crosspiece members) and a large number of horizontal rails 33 (corresponding to crosspiece members) intersect each other, and is viewed from the front. It is formed in a grid pattern.
At the intersection of the vertical rail 32 and the horizontal rail 33, a recessed portion 34 that is recessed toward the back surface is formed. The recessed portion 34 is formed in a portion where ventilation is not required. That is, the bonnet 3 is not provided with devices such as the engine 40 and the radiator 2 that require cooling, and only the suspension mechanism (not shown) of the front wheels 11 is incorporated. , No need for ventilation.

Therefore, as the front grill 31, a recessed portion 34 having no ventilation opening or the like is adopted.
As shown in FIG. 5, the inner inner side of the recessed portion 34 is closed by the bottom surface portion 34a. As a matter of course, the bottom surface portion 34a is located at the inner inner part on the back side of the front end edge (corresponding to the end edge on the front side) of the vertical rail 32 and the horizontal rail 33.
The bottom surface portion 34a is formed with a small convex portion 35 that protrudes toward the front side (front side) from the innermost portion of the bottom surface portion 34a.

The small convex portion 35 is formed in a horizontally long ridge along the longitudinal direction of the cross rail 33 of the horizontally long recessed portion 34, and is formed at two positions above and below the bottom surface portion 34a of the recessed portion 34. Each small convex portion 35 has a chevron-shaped cross-sectional shape that becomes thinner toward the front side (front side), and inclined surfaces 35a that are inclined with respect to incident light from the front side are formed above and below.
Therefore, the light incident on the recessed portion 34 from the front side abuts on the inclined surface 35a of the small convex portion 35 at the inner inner portion and is diffused in a direction different from the incident direction. As a result, in the front view, the inner back side of the recessed portion 34 has a considerably smaller amount of reflected light as compared with the case where a simple flat plate is provided, and is easily recognized as a deep shape.

[1 of other embodiments]

For other configurations, the same configurations as those in the above-described embodiment may be adopted.

[2 of other embodiments]
In the above embodiment, the shape of the small convex portion 35 is shown to have a chevron-shaped cross-sectional shape that becomes thinner toward the front side (front side), but the shape is not necessarily limited to this. For example, the small convex portion 35 may have a ridge with a curved cross section, may be composed of a large number of hemispherical or spherical protrusions, or may have a completely irregular uneven cross-sectional shape. You may.
As for other configurations, the same configurations as those in the above-described embodiment may be adopted.

[3 of other embodiments]
In the above embodiment, the recessed portion 34 closed by the bottom surface portion 34a is targeted for the bonnet 3 which is not provided with devices such as the engine 40 and the radiator 2 that require cooling and does not require ventilation at all. Although the structure provided on the front grill 31 is illustrated, the structure is not necessarily limited to this. For example, even when the bonnet 3 is provided with a heat source that needs to be cooled, such as an engine 40, a radiator 2, or a battery, it can be applied to a place where cooling air does not need to pass so much.
As for other configurations, the same configurations as those in the above-described embodiment may be adopted.
