図３は本保持器具にＵＳＢケーブルを３本同一の歯の間に保持している状態の例を示している。図３のようにケーブルのコネクタ部分の首を歯に引っ掛けることで１つの歯間に例では同じ種類のコネクタの３本のケーブルを収容することができる。
図４は本保持器具同じ種類のコネクタのＵＳＢケーブル３本を３種類のコネクタ分の計９本保持した状態を示す図である。図４の右側の中３つの歯のように、容易にケーブルが刺さるように歯の太さを先端と根元で異ならせたり、一度刺さったケーブルが容易に外れないように歯の途中に突起や曲線を持たせることでケーブルを把持するように構成することができる。
