Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a hygiene product, and more particularly to a hygiene product made of a material that is kind to the natural environment.
Conventionally, sanitary articles such as sanitary napkins have a structure in which an absorbent body covered with a non-woven fabric or the like is placed on a water-impermeable film and the whole is covered with the non-woven fabric or the like.
As these water-impermeable films and nonwoven fabrics, those made of polyolefin resin have been used (Patent Document 1).
However, since the decomposition rate of polyolefin resin is extremely slow in a natural environment, when it is discarded, it will accumulate as waste for a long period of time.
Further, when the absorbent body or the like is mistakenly discarded in the flush toilet bowl, there is a problem that these waste materials are accumulated and clog the pipe.
On the other hand, as a biodegradable polymer, polylactic acid or a copolymer of lactic acid and another hydroxycarboxylic acid (hereinafter abbreviated as lactic acid-based polymer) has been developed. When placed in soil, seawater, or even in compost, these polymers begin to degrade in a few weeks in a moist environment. Then, the decomposition products finally become carbon dioxide and water.
In view of the above problems, the present invention is to provide a sanitary article which is easy to pour the absorbent body into water and can be decomposed in the natural environment, which is friendly to the natural environment.

That is, the sanitary article of the present invention is composed of the top sheet (1), the back sheet (2), and the absorber (3) sandwiched between the top sheet and the back sheet.
The topsheet (1) is a water-permeable material, such as a biodegradable non-woven fabric, and the backsheet (2) is a waterproof material, such as a biodegradable film (eg, polylactic acid (PLA) film, polybutylsuccine). Nate film (PBS), nanocellulose (CNF)) and biodegradable fabrics.
For a waterproof film containing polylactic acid as a main component, polylactic acid is preferably used as a body fluid leakage prevention sheet.
The method for molding the waterproof film is not particularly limited, and it may be formed into a film by a known molding method.

Furthermore, a water-repellent biodegradable material, for example, a natural
In the present invention, the topsheet, the backsheet, and the absorbent body sandwiched between the topsheet and the backsheet are all made of a biodegradable material, but preferably water-decomposable.
Water disintegration means that the shape does not collapse when it contains a small amount of water, but when it is poured into a large amount of water exceeding this, for example, when it is flushed in a normal flush toilet, the shape of the water flows. Is disintegrated, defibrated into a fiber state and can be flushed without clogging the flush toilet.
The water-decomposable material is produced by adhering short fibers with a water-soluble adhesive and drying. Polyvinyl alcohol is preferably used as the water-soluble adhesive.
When the adhesive layer is provided to adhere the back sheet (2) surface to clothes or the like, a biodegradable adhesive, for example, one made of a mixture of natural rubber and short fibers should be attached. Good.
Biodegradable water-absorbing polymers include self-crosslinking alkyl cellulose derivatives that are dried and then granulated, superabsorbent starch gel that is dried and then granulated, and polyglutamic acid and polyaspartic acid cross-linked by radiation. Any biodegradable water-absorbing polymer such as those obtained by cross-linking sodium carboxymethyl cellulose with a metal salt may be used, but cross-linked galactomannan is particularly preferable.
