Abstract
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a pneumatic tire, and more particularly to a pneumatic tire having a buttress portion provided with a plurality of protectors.
The following Patent Document 1 describes a pneumatic tire provided with protrusions protruding from the buttress surface and arranged in the circumferential direction. Since such a pneumatic tire improves the grip performance in the lateral direction with respect to a snowy road, it has high on-snow performance. Each of the protrusions is located between outer lateral grooves that are adjacent to each other in the tire circumferential direction.
By the way, in order to improve the noise performance of the tire, a so-called “variable pitch” is widely adopted in which the interval between the lateral grooves provided in the tread portion in the tire circumferential direction is randomly changed. In the tire adopting the variable pitch, in order to improve the appearance of the buttress surface, for example, there is a request to change the tire circumferential length of each protrusion in association with the interval between the lateral grooves. There is also a demand for gradually changing the tire circumferential direction length of each of the protrusions to give a change or an unexpected appearance to the buttress portion even in a tire in which the variable pitch is not adopted. ..
On the other hand, when the lengths of the protrusions in the tire circumferential direction are different, the volumes of the protrusions are different, and the masses thereof are also different. Therefore, in such a tire, there is a problem in that the uniformity (uniformity) of the tire is poor, such as the centrifugal force acting on the protrusion during rolling is different.
The present invention has been devised in view of the above problems, and its main object is to provide a pneumatic tire having excellent uniformity.

In the pneumatic tire according to the present invention, it is preferable that the arcuate portion has a radius of curvature of 2.0 mm or more.
In the pneumatic tire of the present invention, a protector row is formed on the buttress portion.
An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a tire meridian sectional view of the right half including a tire rotation axis (not shown) in a normal state of a pneumatic tire (hereinafter, simply referred to as “tire”) 1 of the present embodiment. FIG. 1 shows, as a preferred embodiment, an all-season tire for passenger cars. However, the present invention can be applied to tires 1 of other categories including those for light trucks and heavy loads.
The “regular state” is an unloaded state in which the tire 1 is assembled on a regular rim (not shown) and filled with the regular internal pressure. In the present specification, the dimensions and the like of each part of the tire 1 are values measured in this normal state, unless otherwise specified.
The "regular rim" is a rim that is defined for each tire in the standard system including the standard on which the tire 1 is based. For example, "standard rim" for JATMA, "Design Rim" for TRA, ETRTO If so, it is "Measuring Rim".
"Regular internal pressure" is the air pressure that each standard defines for each tire in the standard system including the standard on which the tire 1 is based. For JATMA, "maximum air pressure" and for TRA, the table "TIRE LOAD LIMITSAT" Maximum value described in "VARIOUS COLD INFLATION PRESSURES", "INFLATION PRESSURE" for ETRTO.

The tire 1 of the present embodiment includes a
The "regular load" is a load defined for each tire according to the standard, and is the maximum load capacity for JATMA and the maximum load specified in the table "TIRE LOAD LIMITS AT VARIOUS COLD INFLATION PRESSURES" for TRA. If the value is ETRTO, it is "LOAD CAPACITY".
A
The
FIG. 2 is a side view of the tire 1 and is an enlarged view of the buttress
The
The
FIG. 3 is a perspective view of the
In the present embodiment, the
In the present embodiment, each of the
The recessed
Although not particularly limited, the volume of the
In the present embodiment, the
As shown in FIG. 1, the depth d1 of the
The protrusion height h1 of the
It is preferable that the
The length La of the
It is preferable that the
As shown in FIG. 3, in the present embodiment, each
The
The
As shown in FIG. 2, the ratio of the pitch P of the
The
The
In the
In the present embodiment, the plurality of types of

The
FIG. 4 is a perspective view of a
In the present embodiment, the
The
As shown in FIG. 5, the length Lb of the
Although not particularly limited, the height h2 of the protrusion of the
The
In the tire meridian cross section, the gradually decreasing
In the present embodiment, the
From the same viewpoint, it is desirable that the angle θ of the
FIG. 6 is a perspective view of a
The
The length Lc of the
The raised height h4 of the
Like the
Although the particularly preferred embodiments of the present invention have been described above in detail, the present invention is not limited to the illustrated embodiments and can be modified into various modes.
