FTTH(Fiber To The Home)/HFC(Hybrid Fiber Coaxial)等の高速ネット回線の普及により、有料放送サービス事業者が高速ネット回線を用いたIP(Internet Protocol)放送サービスの提供が進みつつある。
(Background of Obtaining One Form of the Present Disclosure)
2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, due to the spread of high-speed network lines such as FTTH (Fiber To The Home)/HFC (Hybrid Fiber Coaxial), pay broadcast service providers are providing IP (Internet Protocol) broadcasting services using high-speed network lines. .. On the other hand, a cable television broadcasting company that provides cable television broadcasting is performing broadcasting (also referred to as RF (Radio Frequency) broadcasting) via existing broadcasting waves, and suddenly ends RF broadcasting and switches to IP broadcasting. It is difficult to switch. Therefore, it is conceivable that a cable television broadcaster may continue RF broadcasting for cable television, carry out IP broadcasting in parallel, and gradually increase the number of IP broadcasting channels while reducing the number of RF broadcasting channels. Alternatively, it is conceivable that, for example, RF broadcasting for terrestrial broadcasting is left and other pay multi-channel broadcasting (for example, BS broadcasting, advanced BS broadcasting, cable television broadcasting) is transferred to IP broadcasting. From the above, it is assumed that RF broadcast and IP broadcast are operated in parallel, and a broadcast receiving device that receives a broadcast signal is also required to have a reception function corresponding to both broadcast signals (broadcast mode). Be done.
Further, when RF broadcasting and IP broadcasting are operated in parallel, there is a demand for a shared receiver capable of receiving both the RF broadcasting signal (RF broadcasting signal) and the IP broadcasting signal (IP broadcasting signal). To be done. In the shared receiver, it is desirable that the program content (also simply referred to as “program”) broadcast by the RF broadcast signal and the IP broadcast signal can be viewed without distinguishing which broadcast signal the program is. In this case, it is desirable that the program management information for managing the program of the RF broadcast signal and the program management information for managing the program of the IP broadcast signal can be handled without distinction. The program management information may have different formats depending on each broadcast signal. Even in this case, it is desirable that the shared receiver can easily manage the program of each broadcast signal.
In the following embodiment, a broadcast receiving apparatus and a broadcast receiving method that can easily manage the program management information by integrating it even if the formats of the program management information for a plurality of broadcast signals are different will be described.

The source address is an IP address indicating a transmission source used in IP multicast.
FIG. 4 is a diagram showing an example of the program information management table I2. FIG. 4 shows the program information management table I2 when the service ID=“277”. As information below the service ID, there is a program information management table I2. Therefore, the program information management table I2 is included in the channel management information I1. The program information management table I2 manages one or more program information. A program (program content) is identified by an event ID (event_id). Therefore, the program information management table I2 includes information on the programs identified by the event ID of the RF broadcast or the IP broadcast identified by the service ID.
The program information management table I2 includes an event ID (event_id), start time information, duration information, program name information, short format description information, reservation information, and the like, and may include other information. The event ID is information that identifies the program content. The duration indicates the time (for example, seconds) during which the broadcast of the program content identified by the event ID continues. The program name information indicates the name (program name) of the program content identified by the event ID. The short format description information is, for example, a short format event descriptor, and includes information defining a program name and program content. The reservation information is information regarding reservation of the program content identified by the event ID. The reservation information includes no-reservation information (also indicated as "0") indicating that no reservation has been made, viewing reservation information (also indicated as "1") indicating that a viewing reservation has been made, and recording reservation has been made. It may include recording reservation information (also referred to as "2") indicating that the remote viewing reservation information (also referred to as "3") indicating that remote viewing is reserved.
FIG. 5 is information showing an example of the resource management information I4. In FIG. 5, the management slots for one day are shown.
この3つのリソースは、DECODE、DTR(Digital TV Recorder)1、DTR2、を含む。
In FIG. 5, there are three resources of the
In FIG. 5, the resource of DTR1 is reserved from 11:00 to 11:20 on BB day AA, 2018, and the recording is reserved. Further, the DECODE resource is reserved from 18:00 to 20:00, and the viewing is reserved. Further, the resource of DTR1 is reserved between 19:00 and 20:00, and the recording is reserved. Further, the resource of DTR2 is reserved between 19:00 and 20:00, and remote viewing reservation is performed. With the program information management table I2, the resource management information I4, etc., it is possible to manage the program content for the future eight days. Therefore, the program

図6では、RFCH(RF放送のチャネル)とIPCH(IP放送のチャネル)とで放送される番組の情報が並列に表示されることを例示している。
FIG. 6 exemplifies that information of programs broadcasted on the RFCH (RF broadcast channel) and the IPCH (IP broadcast channel) is displayed in parallel. For example,
The integrated electronic program guide G1 shown in FIG. 6, which is shared by the RF broadcast and the IP broadcast, may be a program guide in the EPG format, for example. That is, the program

FIG. 8 is a flowchart showing an operation example at the time of collecting program guides of RF broadcasting. Here, an example is shown in which a TS format stream is received as an RF broadcast, but the same applies to the case of the TLV format.
The
The program
When the corresponding service ID is not registered in the channel management information I1, that is, it is not registered, the program
The
The program
The program
The program
When the event ID is already managed, the program
If the event ID has not been managed, the program
Since the EIT information includes, for example, information on programs for eight days, when the EIT information is acquired every day, the last day's information is not included in the EIT information on the previous day. Therefore, basically, the information for the last day may be added to the program information management table I2. It should be noted that the 7-day information that has not been changed and has been acquired the previous day may be overwritten in the program information management table I2 or may be omitted from registration, but if the reservation information is registered by the previous day. The registered reservation information is left as it is (inherited) without overwriting the reservation information. Further, when the
According to such an operation example at the time of collecting the program guide of the RF broadcast, the
FIG. 9 is a flowchart showing an operation example at the time of collecting a program guide of IP broadcasting. Here, an example in which a TS format stream is received as the IP broadcast is illustrated, but the same applies to the case of the TLV format.

When the corresponding service ID is not registered in the channel management information I1, that is, it is not registered, the program

According to the operation example at the time of collecting the program guide of the IP broadcast, the
Therefore, the
Further, the
Further, even when the display format and management format of the program management information such as the RF broadcast program guide and the IP broadcast program guide are different, one channel management information I1 and the program information management table I2 are integrated. Can be aggregated into program management information. In this case, the format of at least one of the program management information of F broadcast and the program management information of IP broadcast may be converted to unify the formats and the integrated program management information may be generated.
