また、蓋部1bの中央であって、その上面から上方に延出すると共に、その上端部分が平面視正六角形状を成す第一の取付部4を備えてなる。

ある程度手作業にて排水口部材9とトラップ本体10の螺合を行った後、兼用治具1の第一の取付部4及び第二の取付部5を有する側を上方として排水口部材9の排水口9a上方に配置し、平面視縦溝部2に排水口9a内の凸部9bを合致させた上で、排水口9a内に挿通する。
このようにすることで、図5に示したように、兼用治具1は、凸部9bが縦溝部2の方向、即ち排水口部材9の軸に沿う方向に対して排水口部材9に対し移動自在であるが、排水口部材9の周方向に対しては排水口部材9に固定される。

螺合が充分に進むと、フランジ部9c下面とトラップ本体10の上端部とで、パッキンPを介し取付孔B1の周縁を挟持することとなり、排水口部材9及びトラップ本体10が、洗濯機用防水パンBの取付孔B1に接続固定される。
排水口部材9及びトラップ本体10の取付が完了した後、締付治具を直上方向に引き上げて排水口9aから取り外す。前述の通り、兼用治具1は、凸部9bが縦溝部2の方向、即ち排水口部材9の軸に沿う方向に対して排水口部材9に対し移動自在に構成されているため、支障無く排水口9aから兼用治具1を抜脱することができる。
