本発明は、無機中空粒子および無機中空粒子の製造方法に関し、さらに詳しくは、微細な粒子径を有し、各種媒体に対する分散性に優れる無機中空粒子、およびこのような無機中空粒子の製造方法に関する。 The present invention relates to inorganic hollow particles and a method for producing inorganic hollow particles, and more particularly, to an inorganic hollow particle having a fine particle diameter and excellent in dispersibility in various media, and a method for producing such an inorganic hollow particle. .
中空シリカ粒子などの無機中空粒子は、低誘電率材料、低屈折率材料、分離材、吸着材、触媒担体、酵素担体、ドラッグデリバリー(DDS)担体等、様々な用途展開が期待されている。 Inorganic hollow particles such as hollow silica particles are expected to be used in various applications such as low dielectric constant materials, low refractive index materials, separation materials, adsorbents, catalyst carriers, enzyme carriers, drug delivery (DDS) carriers, and the like.
As a method for producing such inorganic hollow particles such as hollow silica particles, for example, Patent Document 1 proposes a method for producing hollow silica particles using aluminosilicate nanoparticles as a hollow part forming agent. ing. Specifically, in Patent Document 1, an aqueous solution of a silicate and / or an acidic silicic acid solution and an aqueous solution of an alkali-soluble inorganic compound are mixed with an aqueous alkaline solution having a pH of 10 or more or a pH of 10 or more where seed particles are dispersed as necessary. Step of simultaneously adding the above-mentioned alkaline aqueous solution to prepare a core particle dispersion liquid containing SiO 2 and an inorganic compound MO x other than silica at a molar ratio of MO x / SiO 2 = 0.3 to 1.0. Adding a silica source to the core particle dispersion to form a first silica coating layer on the core particles; adding an acid to the dispersion to form a part or all of the elements constituting the core particles. Through the removal step, hollow silica particles are produced.
しかしながら、この特許文献1の技術においては、アルミノシリケートナノ粒子を酸溶解し、洗浄させる工程が必要となるため、設備負荷が大きく高コストが高くなるという問題や、粒子径が100nm以下と微細化された中空シリカ粒子を安定的に得ることが困難であるという問題があった。 However, the technique disclosed in Patent Document 1 requires a step of dissolving aluminosilicate nanoparticles in an acid and washing the same, which results in a large facility load and high cost, and a reduction in the particle diameter to 100 nm or less. 以下、まず、本発明の無機中空粒子の製造方法について、説明する。 Hereinafter, first, the method for producing the inorganic hollow particles of the present invention will be described.
<ベシクル形成工程>
ベシクル形成工程は、界面活性剤等を含有する水溶液を用いて、ベシクルを形成させることで、ベシクル含有水溶液を得る工程である。
<Vesicle formation process>
The vesicle forming step is a step of obtaining a vesicle-containing aqueous solution by forming vesicles using an aqueous solution containing a surfactant or the like.
界面活性剤としては、ベシクルを形成可能な界面活性剤であればよく、特に限定されない。なお、ここで、ベシクルとは、界面活性剤により形成される二分子膜閉鎖小胞体を意味する。本発明で用いる界面活性剤としては、鎖状構造含有イオン性界面活性剤が好ましく、鎖状構造含有カチオン界面活性剤がより好ましい。また、リン脂質などからなるリポソームでもよいが、鎖上構造含有カチオン界面活性剤がより好ましい。 The surfactant is not particularly limited as long as it is a surfactant capable of forming vesicles. Here, the vesicle means a closed bilayer vesicle formed by a surfactant. As the surfactant used in the present invention, a chain structure-containing ionic surfactant is preferable, and a chain structure-containing cationic surfactant is more preferable. A liposome composed of a phospholipid or the like may be used, but a cationic surfactant containing an on-chain structure is more preferable.
As the chain structure-containing cationic surfactant, a two-chain cationic surfactant, a single-chain cationic surfactant, or the like can be used, and as a mode of use, a two-chain cationic surfactant is used alone. Embodiments and embodiments in which a two-chain cationic surfactant and a single-chain cationic surfactant are used in combination include, for example, finer and more preferable inorganic hollow particles having a sharper particle size distribution. From the viewpoint that the two-chain type cationic surfactant and the one-chain type cationic surfactant are used in combination, an embodiment is preferred. These may be used in combination with an anionic surfactant. When the two-chain cationic surfactant and the one-chain cationic surfactant are used in combination, the ratio thereof is represented by the molar ratio of “two-chain cationic surfactant: one-chain cationic surfactant”. , Preferably 6/4 to 9.5 / 0.5, more preferably 8/2 to 9/1. By setting these ratios within the above range, the size of the formed vesicles can be suitably adjusted, and as a result, the obtained inorganic hollow particles can be made finer.
The two-chain cationic surfactant is not particularly limited, and a two-chain cationic surfactant conventionally used for vesicle production can be used. Examples of the two-chain cationic surfactant include those having two alkyl groups having 12 to 20 carbon atoms. Specific examples thereof include didodecyl dimethyl ammonium bromide (DDAB) and dihexadecyl dimethyl ammonium bromide. , Dioctadecyldimethylammonium bromide and the like; dioxydimethylammonium salts such as polyoxyethylene-added dihexadecyldimethylammonium salt and polyoxyethylene-added dioctadecyldimethylammonium salt; and the like. Among these, a dialkyldimethylammonium salt having an alkyl group having 12 to 20 carbon atoms is preferable, and didodecyldimethylammonium bromide is more preferable.
The single-chain cationic surfactant is not particularly limited, and a single-chain cationic surfactant conventionally used for vesicle production can be used. Examples of the single-chain cationic surfactant include those having one alkyl group having 12 to 20 carbon atoms, and specific examples thereof include dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide (DTAB), tetradecyltrimethylammonium bromide, and hexadecane. Alkyltrimethylammonium salts such as decyltrimethylammonium bromide and octadecyltrimethylammonium bromide; polyoxyethylene-added alkyltrimethylammonium salts such as polyoxyethylene-added hexadecyltrimethylammonium salt and polyoxyethylene-added octadecyltrimethylammonium salt; hexadecylpyridinium bromide; Alkylpyridinium salts such as octadecylpyridinium bromide; hexadecylimidazolium bromide, octadecylimidium Alkyl imidazolium salts such Zoriumuburomido; and the like. Among these, an alkyltrimethylammonium salt having an alkyl group having 12 to 20 carbon atoms is preferable, and dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide is more preferable.
アニオン界面活性剤としては、たとえば、アルキル硫酸塩、ポリオキシエチレン付加アルキル硫酸塩、アルカンスルホン酸塩、アルキルリン酸塩、N−アシルアルキルタウリン酸、α−オレフィンスルホン酸塩、スルホコハク酸塩等が挙げられる。このうち、アルキル基の炭素原子数が8〜20のアルキル硫酸塩が好ましい。 Examples of the anionic surfactant include an alkyl sulfate, a polyoxyethylene-added alkyl sulfate, an alkane sulfonate, an alkyl phosphate, an N-acylalkyltauric acid, an α-olefin sulfonate, and a sulfosuccinate. No. Of these, alkyl sulfates having 8 to 20 carbon atoms in the alkyl group are preferred.
In the vesicle formation step, a method for preparing an aqueous solution containing a surfactant used for vesicle formation is not particularly limited, and includes, for example, a method of stirring a surfactant and water. Although water, distilled water, ultrapure water, etc. can be used, it is preferable to use ultrapure water. The method of stirring the surfactant and water is not particularly limited as long as they can be uniformly mixed. Further, the content of the surfactant in the aqueous solution containing the surfactant is not particularly limited, but is preferably 0.1 to 10% by weight, and more preferably 0.5 to 5% by weight.
次いで、このようにして調製される界面活性剤を含有する水溶液を用いて、ベシクルを形成させることで、ベシクル含有水溶液を得る。界面活性剤を含有する水溶液中において、界面活性剤によるベシクルを形成させ、これにより、ベシクル含有水溶液を得る方法としては、特に限定されないが、界面活性剤を含有する水溶液について、分散機を使用した分散処理を行う方法が好ましい。 Next, a vesicle is formed using the aqueous solution containing the surfactant thus prepared, thereby obtaining a vesicle-containing aqueous solution. In an aqueous solution containing a surfactant, a vesicle is formed by a surfactant, and thereby, a method for obtaining an aqueous solution containing a vesicle is not particularly limited. For an aqueous solution containing a surfactant, a disperser was used. A method of performing a dispersion treatment is preferred.
分散処理に用いる分散機としては、特に限定されないが、超音波振動機、高圧ホモジナイザー、または回転せん断型分散機などが挙げられるが、比較的大きいスケール(好ましくは10〜1000L、より好ましくは100〜1000L)での製造を可能とするという観点より、高圧ホモジナイザー、または回転せん断型分散機を用いることが好ましい。 The disperser used for the dispersion treatment is not particularly limited, and examples thereof include an ultrasonic vibrator, a high-pressure homogenizer, and a rotary shear disperser, and a relatively large scale (preferably 10 to 1000 L, more preferably 100 to 1000 L) From the viewpoint of enabling production at 1000 L), it is preferable to use a high-pressure homogenizer or a rotary shear disperser.
高圧ホモジナイザーとは、ポンプにより流体を加圧しながら、流路中の非常に微細な間隙から噴出させることにより、粒子間の衝突、圧力差によるせん断力等の総合エネルギーによって分散を行う装置である。高圧ホモジナイザーによる処理条件としては、特に限定されないが、圧力条件としては、好ましくは10MPa以上であり、より好ましくは30MPa以上、さらに好ましくは100MPa以上、特に好ましくは140MPa以上である。 A high-pressure homogenizer is a device that disperses by the total energy such as collision between particles and shearing force due to a pressure difference by ejecting a fluid from a very fine gap in a flow path while pressurizing a fluid by a pump. The processing conditions using the high-pressure homogenizer are not particularly limited, but the pressure conditions are preferably 10 MPa or more, more preferably 30 MPa or more, further preferably 100 MPa or more, and particularly preferably 140 MPa or more.
As the high-pressure homogenizer, an opposing collision-type high-pressure homogenizer (microfluidizer, wet jet mill) is preferable, and an apparatus for causing an aqueous solution containing a surfactant to be subjected to a dispersion treatment to collide with each other on a straight line is preferable. Specifically, as partially shown in FIG. 1, in the opposed collision type high pressure homogenizer, the aqueous solution containing the surfactant is pressurized from separate flow paths as S1 and S2 in a pressurized state. The upstream flow path 10 is formed so as to be supplied to the junction X and to collide with each other at the junction X. Then, the aqueous solution S1 containing a surfactant and the aqueous solution S2 containing a surfactant, which are supplied in a pressurized state from separate flow paths, collide at a junction X, and the collided surfactants The aqueous solution S3 containing the water flows out of the downstream flow path 20. The downstream flow path 20 is provided perpendicular to the upstream flow path 10, and the upstream flow path 10 and the downstream flow path 20 form a T-shaped flow path. According to the opposed collision type high-pressure homogenizer, dispersion processing is performed by repeatedly performing such collision at the junction X.
The rotary shearing type dispersing machine is a dispersing machine having a dispersing blade and allowing a fluid to pass between a rotating rotor and a stator having the dispersing blade and applying a shear force to the fluid to disperse the fluid. Among the rotary shear dispersers, a rotary shear disperser having a ring-shaped blade with a fine slit that rotates at high speed in a part of the structure is more preferable, and in particular, according to the rotary shear disperser having such a structure, The hydrodynamic shock wave generated between the slits effectively acts on the dispersion of the aqueous solution containing the surfactant to be subjected to the dispersion treatment. Examples of the rotary shear dispersing machine include Milder (manufactured by Taiheiyo Kiko Co., Ltd.), Topfiner (manufactured by Aikawa Iron Works), and VF pump (manufactured by Niihama Pump Co., Ltd.).
When a vesicle is formed by using a surfactant-containing aqueous solution to obtain a vesicle-containing aqueous solution, the pH of the surfactant-containing aqueous solution is preferably 9 to 12, more preferably 10 to 12. It is preferable to form vesicles in a state adjusted to 11.7 to 11.7, more preferably 11 to 11.7. For example, when vesicles are formed by the dispersion treatment using the above-described disperser, the dispersion treatment by the disperser may be performed with the pH of the aqueous solution containing the surfactant being in the above range. By setting the pH to the above range and forming vesicles, the diameter of the formed vesicles can be made relatively small, and the resulting inorganic hollow particles can have a finer particle diameter. . Note that an alkali substance is usually used for adjusting the pH. Examples of the alkaline substance include ammonia, sodium hydroxide, sodium hydrogen carbonate, and the like, with ammonia being preferred.
<前駆体添加工程>

In the precursor addition step, the inorganic hollow particle precursor can be incorporated into the vesicle structure by adding the inorganic hollow particle precursor to the vesicle-containing aqueous solution. That is, the inorganic hollow particle precursor can be contained in the vesicle-containing aqueous solution in a state of being taken into the vesicle structure.

Specific examples of the alkoxysilane represented by the general formula (1) include tetramethoxysilane, tetraethoxysilane, tetrapropoxysilane, and tetrabutoxysilane. Of these, tetraethoxysilane is more preferable. .
前駆体添加工程において、ベシクル含有水溶液中における、無機中空粒子前駆体の含有割合が、0.5〜10重量%となるように、無機中空粒子前駆体を添加することが好ましく、より好ましくは1〜8重量%であり、さらに好ましくは2〜6重量%である。 In the precursor addition step, it is preferable to add the inorganic hollow particle precursor so that the content ratio of the inorganic hollow particle precursor in the vesicle-containing aqueous solution becomes 0.5 to 10% by weight, and more preferably 1 -8% by weight, more preferably 2-6% by weight.
また、前駆体添加工程において、ベシクル含有水溶液中における、無機中空粒子前駆体の含有割合を、上記ベシクル形成工程において用いた界面活性剤との関係で、「界面活性剤:無機中空粒子前駆体」の重量比率で、1:0.5〜1:5となる量とすることが好ましく、1: 1〜1:3となる量とすることがより好ましい。無機中空粒子前駆体の含有割合を、上記範囲とすることにより、微細な粒子径を有する無機中空粒子を効率的に得ることができる。 In addition, in the precursor addition step, the content ratio of the inorganic hollow particle precursor in the vesicle-containing aqueous solution is defined as “surfactant: inorganic hollow particle precursor” in relation to the surfactant used in the vesicle formation step. The weight ratio is preferably from 0.5 to 1: 5, and more preferably from 1: 1 to 1: 3. By setting the content ratio of the inorganic hollow particle precursor in the above range, inorganic hollow particles having a fine particle diameter can be efficiently obtained.
また、前駆体添加工程においては、ベシクル含有水溶液に、無機中空粒子前駆体を添加した後、攪拌操作を行うことが好ましい。この際における撹拌温度は、好ましくは15〜35℃であり、攪拌翼の先端速度は、好ましくは0.5から5m/秒である。また、撹拌時間は、好ましくは30分〜24時間であり、より好ましくは1〜12時間、さらに好ましくは1〜3時間である。 In addition, in the precursor addition step, it is preferable to perform a stirring operation after adding the inorganic hollow particle precursor to the vesicle-containing aqueous solution. <濃縮工程、乾燥工程>
そして、本発明の製造方法においては、上記した反応工程にて得られた無機中空粒子を含有する水分散液について濃縮処理を行い(濃縮工程)、次いで、濃縮処理により得られた濃縮液について乾燥を行う(乾燥工程)ことが好ましく、これにより無機中空粒子を得ることができる。
<Concentration step, drying step>
In the production method of the present invention, the aqueous dispersion containing the inorganic hollow particles obtained in the above-described reaction step is subjected to a concentration treatment (concentration step), and then the concentrated liquid obtained by the concentration treatment is dried. (Drying step), whereby inorganic hollow particles can be obtained.
無機中空粒子を含有する水分散液について、濃縮処理を行う方法としては、特に限定されないが、遠心分離による方法、限外ろ過による方法、または湿式サイクロンを用いる方法などが挙げられる。 The method of performing the concentration treatment on the aqueous dispersion containing the inorganic hollow particles is not particularly limited, and examples thereof include a method using centrifugation, a method using ultrafiltration, and a method using a wet cyclone.
Then, the concentrated liquid obtained by the concentration treatment is dried to obtain inorganic hollow particles. <洗浄工程>
また、本発明の製造方法においては、得られる無機中空粒子に含まれる界面活性剤の含有量を低減するために、溶媒を用いた洗浄を行う(洗浄工程)ことが好ましい。
<Washing process>
Further, in the production method of the present invention, it is preferable to carry out washing using a solvent (washing step) in order to reduce the content of the surfactant contained in the obtained inorganic hollow particles.
Although the solvent used for washing is not particularly limited, alcohol, ketone, ether and the like can be used, but from the viewpoint that the surfactant can be more efficiently removed and recovered, alcohol is preferable, and ethanol is more preferable. In addition, when the alkoxysilane represented by the general formula (1) is used as the inorganic hollow particle precursor serving as the raw material of the inorganic hollow particles, it is preferable to use the corresponding alcohol, and thereby, the recovered interface When the activator is reused, it is possible to effectively prevent a decrease in productivity due to contamination with impurities. That is, for example, when tetraethoxysilane is used as the alkoxysilane represented by the general formula (1), ethanol is generated as a reaction by-product when obtaining hollow silica particles. By using the same ethanol as the solvent used in the above, mixing of impurities can be suppressed.
洗浄方法としては、特に限定されないが、溶媒中に無機中空粒子を分散させ、攪拌する方法などが挙げられる。この際における攪拌条件としては、特に限定されないが、好ましくは15〜35℃、0.5から5m/秒の撹拌翼先端速度にて、1〜24時間攪拌する方法などが挙げられる。あるいは、ボルテックスミキサーを用いて攪拌を行ってもよい。 The washing method is not particularly limited, and examples thereof include a method of dispersing the inorganic hollow particles in a solvent and stirring. The stirring conditions at this time are not particularly limited, but preferably include a method in which stirring is performed at 15 to 35 ° C. and a stirring blade tip speed of 0.5 to 5 m / sec for 1 to 24 hours. Alternatively, stirring may be performed using a vortex mixer.
また、溶媒による洗浄を行った後、洗浄後の分散液について、濃縮処理を行うことが好ましく、濃縮処理を行う方法としては、特に限定されないが、遠心分離による方法、限外ろ過による方法、または湿式サイクロンを用いる方法などが挙げられる。 Further, after washing with a solvent, it is preferable to perform a concentration treatment on the dispersion after the washing, and the method of performing the concentration treatment is not particularly limited, but a method by centrifugation, a method by ultrafiltration, or Examples include a method using a wet cyclone.
そして、濃縮を行った洗浄液について、乾燥を行うことにより、無機中空粒子を得ることができる。乾燥条件としては、粉末状の無機中空粒子を得ることができるような方法とすればよく、特に限定されないが、好ましくは50〜120℃、より好ましくは70〜100℃にて、好ましくは0.5〜24時間、より好ましくは1〜24時間加熱する方法が好ましい。あるいは、濃縮を行った洗浄液を減圧状態で乾燥させる方法を採用することもできる。 Then, by drying the concentrated washing liquid, inorganic hollow particles can be obtained. The drying condition may be a method capable of obtaining powdery inorganic hollow particles, and is not particularly limited, but is preferably 50 to 120 ° C, more preferably 70 to 100 ° C, and preferably 0.1 to 100 ° C. A method of heating for 5 to 24 hours, more preferably 1 to 24 hours, is preferred. Alternatively, a method of drying the concentrated washing solution under reduced pressure may be employed.
本発明の製造方法においては、洗浄後の無機中空粒子に含まれる界面活性剤の含有量が10重量%以下となるように洗浄を行うことが好ましく、界面活性剤の含有量が5重量%以下となるように洗浄を行うことがより好ましい。このように界面活性剤の含有量を低減することにより、得られる無機中空粒子を各種用途に用いる際に、界面活性剤の残存による各種特性の低下の発生を有効に抑制することができる。 In the production method of the present invention, washing is preferably performed so that the content of the surfactant contained in the inorganic hollow particles after the washing is 10% by weight or less, and the content of the surfactant is 5% by weight or less. It is more preferable to perform the washing so that By reducing the content of the surfactant in this way, when the obtained inorganic hollow particles are used for various purposes, it is possible to effectively suppress the occurrence of deterioration of various properties due to the remaining surfactant.
Further, according to the production method of the present invention, by removing the surfactant by washing, for example, compared with the case where the surfactant is removed by heating, deterioration and characteristics of the obtained inorganic hollow particles due to heating are reduced. The generation of the change can be suppressed, and the used surfactant can be suitably reused for the production of the inorganic hollow particles. That is, in the washing step, it is preferable that the surfactant is collected from the solvent after the washing separated by the concentration treatment, and the collected surfactant is reused in the production of the inorganic hollow particles. Also, from such a viewpoint, when the alkoxysilane represented by the general formula (1) is used as the inorganic hollow particle precursor that is a raw material of the inorganic hollow particles, it is preferable to use a corresponding alcohol. .
また、洗浄工程においては、洗浄後の無機中空粒子について、再度、溶媒による洗浄、および濃縮処理を行ってもよく、得られる無機中空粒子に含まれる界面活性剤の含有量が所望の水準に低下するまで、このような操作を繰り返し行うことができる。 In the washing step, the washed inorganic hollow particles may be again washed with a solvent and concentrated, and the content of the surfactant contained in the obtained inorganic hollow particles is reduced to a desired level. Until the operation is performed, such an operation can be repeatedly performed.
